Isabel - The Lightning Princess 9 Portal

As soon as they knelt down, Ferdinand brought out a knife and stabbed Aiden.

Isabel shouts "Noooooooooooo" she cries.

"Ohh, I should have done that nineteen years ago" he stabs him again.

"No, stop it, you are killing him" Elizabeth screams at the top of her voice and gets up into a fighting stance. She stops and turns when she hears that all familiar voice cry out in pain.

It was Isabel, there was blood running down her throat from where the knife was.

"Tscchh, tahh tahh ta... I wouldn't do that if I were you or he would slowly peel off her skin. You choose, you defend and protect him and let them kill her or better still you watch as I kill him and he won't hurt her but we would take her away" Ferdinand said smiling wickedly.

As Elizabeth kneels back down, the next thing they know she gets back up and rush to hit Ferdinand, but he was fast and he stabs her on her chest, just a little bit above her breast and she grunts in pain. Isabel upon seeing this screams out her lungs and soon lightning surge all through her body and flings the man holding her towards the wall.

She walks slowly towards the other men and directed the lightning at them, two of them died on the spot, the other one was about running when she directed her hand at him, as the lightning hit him, he flew towards a wall in the living room and fell on the ground, as she walks to closer to where the other man was on the floor she hears a scream.

She turns her head only to see her mother held from behind at her neck and Ferdinand pressed on the knife still stuck in her chest and she screams as he turned the knife.

"Let her go"

"Or what? "

"Or I'll kill you" replied Isabel.

"I'm the one with the trump card here princess". Ferdinand replied while turning the knife in her mother's chest further and she screams. "How delightful, so fragile" he licks her mother's face.

Isabel became more angry and lightning moved round her body, enveloping her like a s.h.i.+eld. Before he knew it, she moved so fast like the lightning and was at his front. She was so fast, the only thing Elizabeth could see was Isabel's hand on Ferdinand shoulder and he was been flung away. She didn't stop there, she moved as fast as lightning again and kept on punching him non stop till he lost consciousness.

Elizabeth calls out to her. "Isabel, my love come here". Isabel rushes to her side and held her in her arms. Elizabeth raised her hand to Isabel's neck, and chanted some strange words, a light s.h.i.+ned on her skin and the injury disappeared leaving just the strick of dried blood on her white skin.

"Mum I need to get you and dad to the hospital quick" she said crying.

"No my baby" Elizabeth spoke to her while trying to dry her tears.

"But dad is unconscious, he was stabbed close to his heart" her mum holds her hand.

"Isabel, we are not your parents. Its high time you knew the truth. You are the princess of Gandera. The lightning child, the daughter of Queen Isabella and King Axel. Yes your dreams have been visions of the past, of who you are. Your mum the queen sent us to this realm in other to protect you. But it is time for you to arise and take your kingdom back. The road isn't going to be easy. It would be tough, but you would have allies. Be careful of whom you trust my darling. You must go through some trials in order for you to awaken your powers, only then would you be able to defeat Claudius the conqueror. " Elizabeth explained.

"But I do not look at all like my parents, I don't look like the lightning child."

"Aiden used magic to change your appearance, to prevent them from finding you. I knew this time would come. I love you Isabel, like you were my daughter, but I would not s.h.i.+eld you from your destiny. The time has come, Gandera needs their princess. Only you can fulfill the prophecy and end the reign of that tyrant. Your people need you, your kingdom needs you. Have courage and be strong, be kind, be careful. I'm sending you back to your kingdom now, it won't be long before Ferdinand regains consciousness".

"I can't leave you mum".

"You can and you must" she tries getting up and Isabel helps her on her feet, she concentrate and creates a portal. "You must leave now, promise me, you will be strong. "

"Mum, I can't. I don't want to leave you. Please " she moves closer and hugs her mother backing the portal.

"You have to, the prophecy must be fulfilled, I love you Isabel" with that last words she pushes Isabel into the portal and Isabel screams "nooooo".. the portal closes...

Elizabeth sighs as she falls on one knee. Opening a portal in her condition took alot of her energy.
