Arachnomancer 71 Alex? Sillith?

After having everything set up in this temporary shelter I decided to pa.s.s out for a bit. Of course all of the spiderlings are on high alert just in case..... I had trouble sleeping. I kept on fading in and out of consciousness and eventually just started staring at the ground above me..... That's when a voice interrupted my stupor.

'Umm.... Can I watch you?' ????

What? Where'd that voice come from? Hallucination? I knew I was lacking sleep but-.

'Is everything okay?' ????

So, it is real? It seems to be female but, it has an odd tone. As if 'she' is trying to make 'her' voice higher and more feminine than what it probably is. So what? 'She' wants to watch me? No. Absolutely not.

'Ahhh, you know how to use telepathy right? Try using it towards your ring. I'll take care of the rest! Mmm~....' ????

That was.... A weird noise. So the ring is what is talking? No, something is probably using it to talk. I don't trust those that make their voice higher. I've known a few guys in the past who have trained their voices to be more feminine than even some girls. Some girls do the same thing to appear more 'cute' though....

'Who and what are you?' Gin

'Ahhh.... You could call me Alex, maybe?' Alex

I'm guessing that's not 'her' real name.... Most names I've heard are along the lines of Sillith, Ravel, Farblight, Crow and so on. The name is very common in my old world..... My niece was also named that....

'So 'Alex', what are you and what do you want' Gin

I take a very neutral tone with 'her'. I have to be very careful with this encounter. I know nothing about this 'alex'.

'You could say I'm a G.o.d. I just want to watch your journey. That artifact you have requires I ask....' Alex

Hmmm? This...o...b.. So it can obscure even a G.o.d's perception?.... A G.o.d? Wait? s.h.i.+t!

'Uhhh.... So why would a G.o.d take an interest in me? Im just a weak summoner here...' Gin

'Haaaaa~.... You have a lot of potential. I want to recruit you. Unfortunately I can't do it personally so, I will have a subordinate recuit you for me. Whenever you ascend, keep an eye out for the one called 'Grant'.' Alex

She lets out a weird noise again.... Then she goes on about a new subject. Ascend?

'Ahh, ascending is a process which allows you to break the bonds that tether you to your world. You can then leave after being 'employed' by a G.o.d. This requires legendary ranking for your race or cla.s.s. You also need to be level 100.' Alex

Level 100. That's a long way off. I can't remember doing anything that would catch the attention of a G.o.d.... The reverse temple? Nah... Perhaps it had to do with taking over the temples in the Drow Theocracy.... Between the different G.o.ds that they wors.h.i.+pped....

'Do you have some relation to the Crow G.o.d, Snake G.o.d or Spider G.o.d? Perhaps Sillith?' Gin

'???? There is no G.o.d of crows, snakes, or spiders. Those are probably people who have ascended. You could say that I have a relation with Sillith though.... Anyways, I've been following you for a while. Not that long after that small troll, Ymrilab, gave you an egg of happenings.' Alex

Any doubts that I had that she may not be a G.o.d vanished. This matter involves me being sent to this world in the first place. A complicated matter.... Still. I'm not sure how I should deal with this situation. Turning down a G.o.ds offer sounds like a bad idea.... To what degree of power does a G.o.d hold? No idea. I'd rather not take the risk. If she were to curse me or something I'd have no way to deal with it.

'Yes, you can observe me I guess. As for the offer.... Please give me some time.' Gin

If I wouldn't have given her permission for that who knows what would've been the consequence. The employment issue can be put off for quite a while.

'Take your time and think it over. I need to get going. Important ehhhhh~.... Things to do.....' Alex

Hopefully everything turns out well.... This whole thing is way out of my control. I wonder though..... This ring has some connection to Sillith. In fact, I have plenty of connections to that G.o.d now that I think about it. She could actually be Sillith.... I have heard plenty of things from the Sillith Faction that she is mainly wors.h.i.+pped due to 'power'. She is very evil G.o.d apparently. So, she could be trying to bait me with an amicable pseudo-personality or something.

What could I do if she is though....

*Sigh

Aein POV-

After the Mistress communicated with sir Gin, she took off to her room looking very red. She warned me not to come near her room but, she never said anything about remotely observing it. She is probably too distracted to notice if I spy a little.... Activating a couple observational skills, I take a look.

A large fluffy golden bed seems to be the only thing in there. The walls and floors have a carpeted surface. Quite odd. I expected pictures and shrines to Gin. Mistress leaps into her bed and starts.... Twisting?

The mistress usually does not have consistent appearences. She randomly changes her forms when she is bored. However there is one appearence that I have become aware of that she holds with great importance. The form of a mid to late teenage girl with black puffy hair and black eyes. Rather voluptuous although, she seems to include that aspect in all her appearences..... This appearence.... Is rather unique.

Why am I bringing this up? Well, she changes into that appearence on the bed but, this time it's a bit different. As she continues to twist, her flesh begins to tear, spraying golden blood all over her bed before it soaks into it. Her face began to display spiderish features. Her mouth and lower jaw sinks in just to be replaced with fangs and thin black teeth. More eyes started to appear on her face until not a single place was left with skin. Her nose sunk into her skull leaving dark holes behind as well.

"Ohhh~! These memories, feelings~! Ohoooooooo~!" Sillith

She starts moaning and I cut off my skills. The mistress restored my lost memories after I realized how I should view Gin. Among those is some odd things.... Just who is Alex? How is she related to the mistress and sir Gin? I probably won't find these answers until I become a G.o.d myself..... All I can do is wait, unfortunately....
