"Of course it's me who else could it be," Edwin said rolling his eyes, Steve was one of the old Edwin's best friends the others were Fred and John.

Fred had different school schedules and John goes to another school but they get together to hang out for movies and for killing time.

Ever since they've met they always have a great time. The current Edwin didn't mind making these guy his friend the reason is that no matter what they always stuck by the old Edwin. Such as spotting him when he was low, talking about dramas that have been happening in there home, and even saving his life once from a rabid rottweiler.

Thus he could confirm that the friends.h.i.+p they had was genuine and not fake so he decided to accept them as his own friends. " What happens to you look taller and well built what did you get a super soldier drug or something!" Steve exclaimed hysterically pointed at him accusingly " I guess I got a growth spurt haha" he chuckled warmly rubbing the back of his head.

" oh yeah, what about your face!" Steve asked "What about my face?" he questioned Steve playing dumb " it looks handsome like an actor or a f*cking model!" he said "Oh thanks for the compliment," Edwin said with a smirk "COMPLIMENT YOUR MOTHER!" Steve cried a little inside. Before Steve could respond they heard someone yelling outside.

"Hey Steve get your *ss out and pay up!" someone with an annoying voice yelled. Steve suddenly tensed out looking nervously they both looked out the window to find out who was d.a.m.n yelling. They saw a rough looking man with short hair in a suit and tie condescendingly smirking next to him was a buff bald fat guy in a wife beater and jeans holding a bat. He looked intimidating the duo were standing at the front of the entrance to the school.

The skinny school security guard was hiding behind a tree s.h.i.+vering thinking " F*ck my life man, I just have pepper spray what is that going to do against a f*cking bat!"

As they saw what was happening Edwin asked Steve who were these people were he responded " they are loan sharks trying to get the money I owe them " Steve laughed nervously " why do you owe them?" Edwin asked " I was trying to do my genetic mutation experiments…" he chuckled lightly

" Oh trying to make a lamia again huh typical Steve" Edwin sighed, Steve was a big fan of fantasy novels especially one that contained lamia or reptile type humans. so he spent much time trying to make fantasy into reality. so he studied very very very hard on genetic splicing and mutations to the point it would make the veterans of the study cough up blood from the frustration of an 18 teen-year-old knows more than them so far nothing has been successful but he did make a four-winged lizard.

the old Edwin did ask how he made it once but Steve just shrugged and said "somethings are worth not knowing ..." he chuckled evilly, giving the old Edwin a good reason never to ask about his experiments again. "So lemme guess you do not have the cash to pay them?" " Yeah, I'm screwed, dude!" Steve said tearing up " well don't worry buddy I'll handle it." Edwin said with glee while raising up a good-natured thumbs up.
