Transported Warlock 18 Chapter 18: Mana Sack

The men ran crazily in all directions like headless chickens. When they saw their dead comrades being raised from the dead they were terrified and felt they needed to get out of there. Edwin then watched this scene and chuckled coldly

" How cute they think they can run away welp time to kill, Slaughter all these rotten bas*ards!" Edwin Commanded the 40 undead thugs

" YES, MASTER!!! They're horrifying screams in unison as the undead grabbed the firearms off the floor and started to ma.s.sacre everything and everyone in sight. They charged without fear towards the remaining alive thugs.

The thugs started shooting at the now undead thugs but to no avail, they just kept charging at them as if they shot water guns at them. As they closed in, many started to bite and tear off the flesh of the thugs and were enjoying it like they were eating the most delicious thing in the world. They were soon overwhelmed by the swarm of undead and said their final dying words.

" F*ck me what is this Res*dent F*cking Ev*l!!!" random thug A

" " Help me!" random thug B

" I don't wanna die a virgin!!!" Random thug C

Soon there was nothing left of the living thugs except for a few pieces of bone and flesh here and there. " Great job guys!" Edwin praised the undead warriors

" We live to serve MASTER!" They cheered and celebrated in unison and then Edwin felt a slight tapping on his shoulder. He turned to see a sad limp giant boney hand.

"Hey don't think I didn't forget about you big fella you did great out there" Edwin cheered up the Lich fist. It then became lively and grabbed Edwin giving him a bony hug.

" hey … I can't… breathe…" Edwin barley said as the hug was too tight. The hand let go apologetically " how about a fist b.u.mp from now on" he asked as they both fist-b.u.mped each other the hand really enjoyed it and started to fist b.u.mp all the undead servants.

" okay…" Edwin watched the confusing scene.

" Now then…" Edwin was prepared to absorb all the souls in the surrounding area, Edwin was in stage low stage 2 for him to ascend the stages he need's a large amount of mana to fill his mana sack. The mana sack was a container inside the body. It's like a balloon that needs air but instead of air it is mana, it fills with mana that is used for spells and is where people store their summoned creatures or undead.

When Edwin came to Earth his soul barely clung to a bit of mana and most of his summons were lost in the process.

By the way, he could get mana from doing many things like finding a rare mana plant or herb, mediating and absorbing the natural mana from the surrounding area. Though the one way that gives the most to Edwin is absorbing souls. The stronger the soul the more mana he get's the higher he climbs the stages. Climbing the stages was important because with each comes access to more powerful spells and abilities.

For example, once one reaches stage 3 they unlock two innate abilities based on one's element for every 3 stages. like a blood mage who reaches stage three would unlock two innate abilities based on blood for example fangs and could rip through iron and could drain someone of blood in seconds. Edwin hoped he still would get his two old innate abilities because of how much fun he had with them.

After some time thinking he was interrupted again this time he felt a tug on his waist. It was Beltony he was looking at Edwin teary-eyed.

" Master sorry for being scared I'm useless aren't eye."

Beltony's head drooped down. " Naw you were great out there in fact If weren't for you I'd be full of lead by now," Edwin said with care patting Beltony leathery head

" really?"

"yes really"

"YAY Beltony helped MASTER!" Beltony energetically cheered. Edwin smiled at the now happy belt and then walked to the middle of the b.l.o.o.d.y scene he then closed his eyes as countless bright orbs circled around him and were being absorbed into him
