I groaned as I pulled myself out of my car and went up to my apartment that night.

It was already late as my talk with Terry and her daughter lasted hours than we antic.i.p.ated.

I was sighing on my way up 'cause the news I was carrying would surely not earn a positive response from my girlfriend.

And since it's already late, I was hoping she's fast asleep to avoid the conversation and just deal with it tomorrow because honestly I was do d.a.m.n tired to face an argument.

And guess what?

Fortune was on my side— she's sleeping soundly.

So I tiptoed to the bathroom, showered, dressed and gently slid on the bed praying she won't wake up.

And my fortune ran out when she rolled on my side.

"Love?" She called.

I moved to hug her.

"I'm home and let's sleep." I swiftly closed my eyes after planting a kiss on her cheek.

And just when I thought she'd drifted back to sleep, she groaned.

"How's the talk?" She asked with eyes closed.

I flinched.

"Let's sleep."

"I'll tell you tomorrow."

She hummed in agreement.

What a relief…

Good thing she did not pressed on.

"You should have consulted me first before agreeing!"

So there it was— arguing so early in the morning.

We were by the kitchen.

Well, the news was— Terry asked me to help Claire manage the restaurant while she's away for forty five days.

Of course I would turn in for duty after my cla.s.ses at five. And I can't really refuse since it's Terry.

She's like my life advisor something, second to my mother: a close friend.

"I don't want to turn down Terry." I reasoned.

"Why can't you?" Erika's veins were popping out already.

"We're graduating students Andy."

"You don't have the luxury of time to do that managing!"

"I will just be fine." I insisted, my voice— calm.

Erika sneered.

"Yeah, the genius you are."

I just watched her.

I didn't say anymore.

Then my brows knitted as her tears fell and she's wiping them with her hands.

Why the f.u.c.k would she cry?

"I'm your girlfriend Andy!"

"When you are single, your decisions are your own!"

"But you are committed to me!"

"How big or small...

"… you should have taken my opinion and my feelings into consideration first before accepting!"

My expression softened as I pleaded guilty and I hugged her.

She sobbed on my chest.

"I'm sorry." I apologized.

And she sobbed more.

"I know this is shallow but... I'm having a really bad feeling about this." She said between her sobs.

I pulled away to wipe her tears. Then she looked at me with worried eyes.

"Claire." She uttered out of nowhere.

I was stunned for a second as I remembered how Claire acted last night.

Erika pushed me away.

"Woman's intuition." She said while continually wiping her face to dry.

I sighed.

"Erika, you know I love you and I will always be." I stressed every word of it.

"You can trust me." I added.

"I know!" She scowled at me.

"But I don't trust that Claire."

"She's just twenty three, for goodness sake!"

"What if— "

"I only want you!" I cut her off.

"And I love you that Donna even want puke."

Yeah, Donna once said that.

Erika pinched her brows while her upset eyes travelled up and down to my being.

"Why can't you be less attractive?"

I begun to smile with that.

"If I do... then we're not anymore a match made from heaven."

She chuckled and threw her arms around my neck and we kissed.

"Be warned," she uttered between kisses.

"You are oblivious to some things sometimes so…"

"I'll be keeping an eye on that Claire."

I smiled while not breaking the kiss and trapped her between my arms on the cold wall.

Then I moved up below her ear and she let out slow grunt.

I then moved down to devour her neck and a moan escaped her throat.

I dragged my knee against her front while I'm devouring her neck and her grip on my hair tightened.

"f.u.c.k…" she groaned.

Not long her knees buckled and I caught her for support continuing to suck her neck.

"s.h.i.+t…" she again moaned.

"Stop."

I smiled with that but still continued as though I didn't hear it.

It sounded s.e.xy to me.

"Stop."

I still didn't.

"I said stop!"

'Oops'

By then I stopped.

I rested my forehead on her shoulder while having a smirk on my face.

"We have cla.s.s in thirty minutes." She mumbled while heavily breathing.

Then darted her way to our bedroom looking disheveled and fl.u.s.tered.

I just followed her with my gaze as I smiled to myself. I know how much it took her to resist.

And I found her cute with that.
