KAILEEN ANDY LEWIS
I got out of the bedroom seeing Erika making breakfast by the kitchen.
'Oh'
'She can cook.'
That made me smile.
"Good morning." I greeted still with a grin in my face.
She just sharply glared at me and got back her attention to cooking. She still looked grumpy though.
'Hahaha'
I walked behind her and wrapped my arm around her waist while I tugged away some strands of hair at the back of her neck with my other hand.
She instinctively tilted her head giving me access to plant a kiss at the crook of her neck, which I did.
'She smells good.'
"Have I told you how amazing you are… last night?" I teased.
She faced me with brows met.
"Just… last night?"
She dragged the word 'just'.
'Shoot'
I smiled guiltily.
'Idiot me'
"Since, since the day I met you Love." I retracted.
She narrowed her eyes and turned back to her cooking.
I pulled away and sat by the kitchen island staring at her.
No, not staring, more like checking her out.
'Hehehe'
With her legs exposed flawlessly in my sight, I'm sure she's just in her underwear beneath that oversized tee of mine.
"Done checking me out?" She asked after a while.
I smiled. I got caught.
"Nah, I can't get enough." I countered while grinning.
She let out a small laugh while shaking her head sideways, then made her way to me.
"I made you coffee."
She stood opposite the kitchen island, handed me a mug and leaned on the table, bringing her face closer to mine.
Her eyes landed on my lips.
So I leaned in and kissed her.
She smiled before kissing me back. It wasn't smooch, it lasted long and she even licked my lower lip before pulling away.
She winked before turning around and she's back again to her cooking.
'd.a.m.n'
'Was that flirting?'
I found it so s.e.xy and I blushed with that.
'Erika!'
'G.o.d'
Then after some time, she sat opposite me and so we ate.
I savored everything she cooked. They're all good.
"So, how did I get this fortunate?" I joked while licking my fork.
She smirked.
"Yeah, like winning the lottery."
I chuckled with that.
"I could get used to this, you know." I teased more.
"Waking up next to you."
"Eating your cooking."
"Then, then you clean the house while raising our kids." I winked.
She choked and coughed with that.
"You will make a really good wife." I continued.
"Then I'll go to work and pay the bills..."
"Then- "
"Stop!" She cut me off while wiping her mouth.
"Sounds a plan huh." She smirked.
I just smiled at her then put down my spoon and fork.
"Then how about moving in here… with me Erika?"
There was a moment of pause; no reaction from her. She just stared at me.
"A... Are you serious?" She asked with doubt.
I nodded as I took a sip of my coffee.
She didn't say anything anymore. She just continued eating in which her expression shows that she's deep in her thoughts.
I just let her be. I know it isn't easy to decide right away or… is it?
I don't know. I just thought it's best that we live together.
'Hehehe'
