Corrupted Innocence 11 Resisting 'The Grand Finale' 2

Violet rejoiced at the relatively quick success at eliminating 2 of the threats that had quite a large impact on the overall planet more so than others and all that remained was the hive mind species and the world dragons. She prepared her Primordial swords and charged towards the colossal dragon and jumped from the ground and flew as fast as she could towards it. She prepared for the first strike and had the swords stab it and then she would release burst of energy upon it when she collides with it.

She approached closer and closer to the dragon and soon its size became very apparent to her as she was essentially a speck to it or if she was lucky an ant. She didn't deter from what she was meant to do and soon the swords collided with the dragon knocking it back slightly but sending powerful shockwaves around it destroying a lot of nearby areas. Raising her two feet she came into impact with the dragon sparking the ma.s.sive energy release that threw the dragon backwards and damaging the webbing of its wings. She re-summoned her swords and resumed her and charged at the dragon once again and clashed the swords against the swing of its claws shattering the swords and the claws and causing an even bigger shockwave to knock Violet back and recoil the dragons hand.

Cras.h.i.+ng into the destroyed ground below she destroyed many buildings she came in contact with spreading debris across the landscape. Her vision became slightly hazy and she struggled to her feet and began to collect herself, watching the t.i.tanic dragon climb back to its feet and begin to approach her. She attempted to re-summon her swords but found the same lock as when her blades broke before and decided to simply charge at the dragon and release ma.s.sive amounts of energy to eventually kill it. She propelled off of the ground and kicked the dragon once more releasing a torrent of energy that cast a bright blue light that blinded those who looked at it. The energy kept expanding outwards as she released more and more making it look as if it were a weapon that had detonated on extreme levels.

Soon the energy subsided and Violet looked around the the crater that she had formed and found no sign of dragon until she was violently hit towards the ground. When she looked up she had noticed the dragon was yet still alive on looking down upon her charging its breath, leaking bright blue flames from it maw. She scrambled to her feet and ran as fast as she could as the beam of fire erupted from the dragons mouth encompa.s.sing the abyss like a tsunami of fire. Violet slide into what seemed to be a cave underneath some debris just as the fire pa.s.sed over her causing her to sigh in relief of her survival.

Once she was sure the flames had burnt out she emerged from the cave to be carried by the force of its tail colliding with her body and the nearby ground ripping the ground she was stood on from the earth and slowly disintegrated as it swung its tail. Violet gathered the energy in injured areas and climbed up the side of the dragons tail as it continued to violently swing its tail. She advanced up the tail almost falling off of the dragon as it struggled to knock her off of its body and soon she almost fell was the dragon took flight into the air applying wind pressure to slow down her advance up its tail.

She forced her way up the mountains of scales until she reached its slightly damaged wings and came up with an idea to knock it down from the sky. She acc.u.mulated a large amount of energy in her hand and slammed her fist down unto the base of the first wing causing a ma.s.sive explosion of energy and blood as the wing was torn off of the dragons body and drifted down to the surface. The dragon struggled to keep itself in the air making the ground terribly more unstable as she advanced forwards almost falling many times.

The she was there, its head. She prepared a ma.s.sive amount of energy in her hand and dropped down its face and then implanted her hand into its eye and releasing the energy causing a ma.s.sive amount of energy to rupture its eye and shatter parts of its head. Rejoicing for a second, she soon found that she was in quite the problem when the body of the dragon began to fall down towards the ground. She felt weightless as they both fell but she had to find the dragons heart so that she could summon the G.o.ds and so she climbed in the gaping hale where its eye had been.

She advanced through the body and found it was surprisingly easy to navigate but also that the immune system was rather strange and were creatures she had not encountered before although weak in strength. She finally arrived at the heart of the beast, exceedingly less extravagant than she had thought but nonetheless it was the heart even if it looked liked a piece of flesh. She tired the heart from the wall of flesh and hit the roof of the skull after a large and sudden impact. Climbing to her feet she retreated towards gaping hole that was the dragon's eye and leaped out of the fleshy ma.s.s as it the smell the smell of burning flesh slammed the air as fir erupted across its form most likely the fire organ was damaged in the impact bu nonetheless she had the heart and so she placed the heart unto the ground and summoned her primordial swords and forced them into one and fused it with as much energy as she could muster. Then she stabbed it into the heart and the swords shattered and the heart absorbed the energy before a blinding glow lit over the planet and 5 figures appeared. The G.o.ds.
