"It's time. Let's leave, then."
"Yes, master. This way please." He motioned the way.
After they boarded the plane, Gary informed him of his itinerary.
"Master, Mr. Howard's secretary informed us to go directly to the mansion, they are already preparing for your arrival tonight."
"Great! Inform the PR Manager not to release any statement unless there is a word from us. We need the Howard's permission first before we release anything."
"Absolutely. We already drafted two statements sir, in case of." Then Gary seated on the designated seat for the high ranking employees. Clint just nodded and then he closed his eyes to take a rest.
'This will be a long journey," he thought before he dozed off to sleep.
Five hours have pa.s.sed and they arrived at Vierra International Airport, a black Mercedes Benz was already waiting for them to bring them to the Howard's mansion.
Clint Briggs has only one goal in mind: he needs to convince John regarding the marriage of their children. Deep inside him was not sure if his friend will agree to his proposal, he could only pray for the success of this meeting.
"Master, as of the moment, the company's stocks are kept on skyrocketing. The media is still in uproar about the young master and Miss Howard's relations.h.i.+p. Even the child was becoming a part of talk of the town." Gary informed his master.
"Clark? That is not good. Tell them to take down any pictures that reveal the child's face. Delete any information regarding the child. I don't want my grandson to be dragged by these shameless reporters."
"Right away sir,"
The old man was caught in deep thought when he heard the child's name. If he could not do something about the child's safety, he will be oppressed by the media. But he already calculated such risks; he could only hope that there will be no harmful situations that will cause him to make some drastic measures.
Gary received a message.
"Who are you texting, Gary?"
Gary was seated on the pa.s.senger's seat while his master was at the backseat. He needed to turn around before first before he could answer him.
"It's nothing important sir..." he lied.
"Of course, sir." He could pa.s.s the lie detector test for this, as he never felt nervous nor batted his eyes when he answered him.
"Very well."

"Hurry! The special guest will arrive within thirty minutes. He is our master's trusted friend, don't fail him." Gordon urged the servants to hurry, keeping an eye to his watch.
"Gordon, relax, everything will be perfect." Butler Romeo patted his back.
The servants were all too eager to know the very special guest of their master. So they gossip among themselves.
"I heard that he will be the future father-in-law of our young miss." One of the maidservants said in a hush tone.
"But I thought, the young miss was already betrothed to the McNaught's only heir?" maid number two shared a gossip.
"But it was long ago, are you not informed? That's the main reason why the young miss runaway, idiot!" the maid number three rolled her eyes.
"I pity my prince Lance. He has been so committed to our young miss ever since. But what am I curious about was that 'malicious' article regarding our young miss. I've heard that from the news once but I could not search it." The maid number one said.
"Yeah, I've overheard that too from Mr. Gordon while I was cleaning the study that Master John ordered to take down some malicious article in this country."
"What is it the article all about?"
"Idiot! I said I only heard what they always said 'the malicious article', I didn't say that I know what it's all about."
"But how is it related to our topic?" the maid number two was confused.
They did not notice that Gordon was already at their backs.
"What are you three talking about?!"
"You sure?" his master seems not to believe him.
