The three of them were silent while waiting for the couple. Ingrid busied herself again checking and rechecking her presentation and doc.u.ments making sure that she forgets nothing. Minutes later, the door opened and the couple entered with smile on their faces. Clifford and Ingrid stood up and greeted them.

"Good morning, Mr. Jeffries, Mrs. Jeffries?" Clifford went to them and he extended his hands.

"Clifford, you didn't tell me that you bring with you your wife and son." Mrs. Jeffries commented. Clifford was surprise but he did not let it to be shown.

"I think you're –" Ingrid wanted to correct it but Clifford interrupted.

"Have seat, Mrs. Jeffries" Clifford pulled a chair for the woman.

"Such a gentleman..." she commented feeling giddy.

"This is Ingrid, Ma'am, she will be the one to explain to you about the business proposal. She is the EVP of our company."

"You are so beautiful, dear and very smart and cla.s.sy at that. Clifford here is more than lucky to have you." She further commented. Clifford sent Ingrid a message.

Ingrid blushed not because of her compliment but to what she thought about them. She could not yet correct their misconception about them while Clifford is around. He has been glaring at her after she read the text message.

Without their awareness, they have been the social media sensation. The company staffs and Gary Gray, Clifford's secretary, is the pressured one. He has been banged with left and right calls from the local news and international news.

His mouth and his eyes fell wide open when he saw different pictures of Clifford, Ingrid and Clark walking side by side, the other picture showed Clifford carrying the sleeping child and Ingrid was beside him, and now, the three of them just wearing same color, Clifford carrying the doc.u.ments and the laptop, Ingrid was holding Clark, who is smiling looking at his mom.

'G.o.d! This is indeed news worthy! No wonder the local and international news was in uproar.'

His thoughts were disturbed when his phone rings.

"What is this news all about, Gary!" the man on the other line thundered.

"Mmaster..." he gulped his forehead started to sweat. He could imagine the fierce look of Mr. Clint Briggs. Suddenly, his master laughed so loudly.

"This is good Gary, tell the press that this is true and that we just need time to have our own press release regarding this matter. But please be careful and discreet in spreading this information not to reach Clifford's ears." He laughed out loud again.

"But, how about Ma'am Ingrid sir?"

"Don't worry about her, I am now contacting her father regarding this, but still he is busy, he will get to me later after his meeting."
