The father and son talked for several minutes while Ingrid excused herself so that she could prepare for their departure. Clifford decided to end the video chat when one of his men signalled that it's time for their departure.

"Son… good bye for now…"

Once more, the boy's countenance fell. His shoulders drooped. His eyes were fixed on the floor as if telling him that he doesn't want to part with him. So instead of saying good bye Clark shoved the iPad on the sofa and run away.

"Grandmaaaaaa…" he heard him screaming.

Clifford smiled at his child's evasion as he remembered his childhood. He did the same to his mom when he was a child, running away every time she would say good bye to do some business errands. His contemplation then was interrupted.

"Young Master, it's time…" one of the bodyguards announced.

They have been informed that there are media waiting for them and that they should at least answer some of their questions. Clifford nodded to him and rummage around the room to know what Ingrid is doing. He's caught a glimpse of her standing in front of the mirror as the make-up artist, handpicked by him, do some finis.h.i.+ng touches on her face before they appeared in front of the media.

She was dressed with a baby blue body fit spaghetti strapped blouse with a long pleaded skirt, and white flat shoes. The man admired the woman's taste in her clothing but then he's annoyed at how revealing her blouse to his taste. She could attract more attention, men in particular, in her outfit alone because it revealed the shape of her waist and bust.

Clifford went to the closet and looked for her coat to cover her upper body, but there's none, only his black trench coat lie hanging in it, because their clothes were already been placed in their luggage earlier.

Ingrid suddenly felt something warm placed on her shoulders. She looked up and saw her husband's handsome face. Leaning to her and said,

"You'll catch a cold, my love…" he levelled his head to her, smiled and kissed her hair and whispered, "…You are so lovely and… seductive in your clothes, I fear many will take fancy on you and I can't bear to think of that…"

The make-up artist almost choked of how affectionate they are to each other. How she envied the young madam's position. The mark-up artist sighed at the thought that she could not have what Ingrid had.

'What a beautiful couple…' she could only exclaim in silence.

"Are you done with my wife?" Clifford asked the make-up artist but still his gaze lingered on Ingrid.

"Ahh, ye-yes, young master…" the woman almost jumped in surprise when she heard Clifford's voice.

"Good. I believe you're more than ready, love." his gaze runs all over body, checking that none of her skin be exposed. Ingrid's felt hot which makes her cheeks go red.

"Always…" Ingrid chuckled. Clifford offered his hand for Ingrid.

"Shall we?"

Ingrid then put on her black sunnies and together they left the room holding hands, leaving the make-up artist stunned, jaws dropped and wide eyed.

The couple were surrounded with bodyguards as they emerged from their hospital suite, s.h.i.+elding them from any physical attacks especially that the young madam is still injured.

"Make sure that my wife won't be hurt as we pa.s.s through. Understood?" Clifford's tone sends warning to the men who surround them.

"Certainly, young master."

They strode down the hall way of the hospital and their presence made a scene. Surrounded by brawny men wearing black suit, everyone's gaze fell on them as they walk. The couple give the impression of being regal. Their gaits are confident and aristocratic. Their heads are held up glancing neither to the right nor to the left but look straight ahead. Clifford holds on tightly on Ingrid's waist, securing her walk. Their presence gave the onlookers the feeling of authority that not a single soul should dare to offend and interrupt them.

Outside, the media men are in uproar upon knowing that the persons involved of their reporting are coming their way.

"They are here! They are here! Hurry! Let your cameras ready!" someone shouted from among them.

All of the media personnel made a commotion and everyone wanted to have a chance to have a word with the couple. Their efforts were not in vain.

The couple politely answered all their queries and they gained the praise from them media personnel for their time and effort in answering their enquiry regarding the vehicular accident and for not ditching them. They were amazed of how poised and refined Ingrid was in answering the simultaneous questions from them, far from the negative articles which circulates on the social media.

They were just given a period of ten minutes for the interview which is sufficient enough for the news scoop. The couple thank them and bid farewell. Once again, they were all smiles as they witness how Clifford and Ingrid treated each other. They attested the fact that what they've seen and heard in their recent interview regarding their love and commitment to each other isn't just for a show but it's really is genuine.

The couple hastened their steps because they could not wait to see Clark. Clifford took hold of Ingrid's cold hand, squeezing it gently as he wraps his arms around her shoulders. Ingrid leaned on his broad shoulders and closed her eyes.

"Are you okay?" His voice is soft and comforting.

"hmmm…"

♥…♥…♥

Not far away from them. A black Mercedes Benz parked, observing the couple from afar.

"Fascinating…" the person smiled wickedly.

Then the mastermind searched over the phone to call someone using the voice changer again.

The other line answered.

"Our next stop, Vienna."
