I think my head hurts a little. Raziel has been in his, which I recently found out, room for more than 24 hours already, just sitting around while shuffling and reading through files as carefully as he could, and, of course, since I'm in his perspective—I can also feel his non-existent fatigue.

Seriously, I skipped through a meeting, but I didn't skip through this one?

Well, to be honest, it's pretty knowledgeable. It's like I went back to my own past life back when I was in college… studying through the whole week even though I know I'd still be on the top just to make sure everything is alright, and I didn't skip a single d.a.m.n thing. This time though, it's me reading things thoroughly with Raziel, who's preparing for the worse.

It turns out that… this war is… all because of this… power. What power? Well… surprise, surprise… it's the f.u.c.king golden eye again.

Oh, and hear this—the eye's name is, apparently, Nebula.

Pretty gosh darn creative, isn't it?

What's the definition of the word nebula again? A cloud of gas and dust in outer s.p.a.ce, visible in the night sky either as an indistinct bright patch or as a dark silhouette against other luminous matter? I suppose it fits the eyes since it's blindingly bright.

But, still. Nebula, really? It's a pretty advanced word for this… ancient time or whatever, but, come on. Raziel, guys—you can do better than that.

Anyways, as I was saying, this Nebula thing is… the root of everything—by everything, I mean every single G.o.d d.a.m.ned thing… and how did I know of this information? It's all thanks to the depressed little s.h.i.+t, Raziel, and his detailed notes and files piled up on his desk.

He burned everything though, after reviewing through them.

What a waste.

But, hey. I read them through his perspective… and the contents are… pretty morbid, to say the least. It was hard to process them at first but… something inside me is telling me that I know this—but, in reality, I don't. It's my first time reading them and knowing about them but my guts tells me otherwise. It's like déjà vu.

First off, this war is about 4 kingdoms of some sort regaining control over Nebula, which is mostly known as the "Eye of the Universe"… and there's supposed to be only one of this eye but… something went—will go wrong, which actually makes sense since… there are golden eyes instead of a single one.

About Nebula—it is located over at this place called as the "Heart of the Universe", a floating island, in the centre of the, obviously, universe, that had remained neutral and unclaimed over millions of years. No other kingdoms had dared to cause havoc on the said island, for it was said that it is the birth place of a G.o.d, and, trust me, in this ancient world, no one wanted to anger a G.o.d.

Well, no one wanted to mess with a G.o.d until a surge of power washed over the four kingdoms in the Universe; the Kingdom of Stars in the East, Stellar Kingdom; the Kingdom of Moons in the West, Lunar Kingdom; the Kingdom of Emptiness in the South, Void Kingdom; and the Kingdom of Radiance in the North, Light Kingdom—which is where the Cosmos family is ruling over.

The said surge of power had drawn the Lunar Kingdom to take the initiative to… attempt to see what this Nebula is all about… only for it to end badly for them. The Kingdom from the east had thought that the opposite kingdom had broken an unspoken rule and they decided to attack them to… "defend" the Nebula.

Ah, the cla.s.sic misunderstanding.

Well, this sparked a literal universal war because the Stellar Kingdom stupidly sent a f.u.c.king troop towards the Void Kingdom and, d.a.m.n, the Kingdom in the South takes things seriously. Since the Void Kingdom had a pact with the opposite kingdom, the Light Kingdom, the said kingdom agreed with them to help stop this pointless misunderstanding—by force, of course.

I don't understand how kingdoms work at all, especially in the ancient time.

I think the Void Kingdom is just being petty, to be honest… even Raziel thought so, seeing that he had written a small note at the corner of one of his papers about the Kingdom of the South being quite, well, petty.

This pettiness had caused many casualties and… it's not pleasant for Raziel.

The Cosmos had a note full of… rants and thoughts, mostly containing similar sentences as, "Things will definitely fall into chaos once this nonsense of a war continues…" and, "… I will not be surprised if the Kingdom from the South fallout due to its ignorance of the truth and their hidden greed for the Nebula…"

At first, it didn't quite make sense for Raziel to have such thoughts but, as I read along through his eyes, I've learned that…

He could see the truth. Clairvoyance, is what people would call this ability… but it's more than that. Something more ominous is lurking through his very core… but I can't really put my finger to what and where it could be. It's rather intriguing.

He had been hiding this ability because he's—

The scene changed in a flash, stopping my thoughts abruptly. It seems like Raziel has entered the frontlines with his brother and several troops behind their backs. They're at a fair distance away from the Heart of The Universe, getting ready as they marched and flew towards the island, others with their wings spread about, and others with their outlandish magic.

It's like a scene taken out of a fantasy novel… but in one's perspective.

Ah… Raziel's feeling a bit nauseous. He doesn't seem to be fit into going to battle in his current state… but it appears as the opposite on the eyes of the others. After all, he is the first son of King Aeron, a crown prince too (which I found out through his notes). Many are expecting the best out of him… to the point that it makes him feel that once he makes a single mistake, it'd be his… downfall.

This… reminds me of myself. We really aren't far from each other. In my last life, I was thought to be perfect. Many people looked up to me because they had created an image of me far greater than my real self in their minds. Their nonsense of a thought drove me crazy because I… really didn't have to live up to their expectations but I… It's a pain to think that many people thought that way… so I'm quite glad one "imperfect" person came into my life.

I'm pretty sure the one reading my story knows who she is—oops. I should really stop breaking the already damaged fourth wall.

I snapped out of my thoughts when I caught a big explosion out of the corner of my eyes. It almost looked like a supernova from outer s.p.a.ce. I shouldn't be too mesmerised by it seeing that Raziel is feeling quite worried because—

I'm pretty sure my eyes widened when Raziel widened his. I'm also sure that Uriel was caught up in that blast… what the h.e.l.l is happening? One second it's all going well then next it's…

"URIEL!" Raziel blasted his Light prowess to propel himself towards the direction of the blast, reaching out his hand to hopefully reach his younger twin's. He dove right into the giant smoke and dust, ignoring the burns he's getting through the hot blast. He ignored every damaged he had attained, frantically searching for survivors in the blast and, mainly, his brother.

He sensed something familiar from the far left, making him stir his way towards it. Sure enough he found his brother. He then reached for his arms, pulling him with him before zooming out of the supernovlike blast. Raziel had no time to see his brother's condition but… It was brief but I saw…

"Aaack…!!!" Uriel winced in pain, making Raziel to stop mid-flight.

Upon seeing Uriel's state, I'm very unsure whether it's Raziel's heart that sunk or… mine. The dark-haired Cosmos is very much tattered and… covered in flowing blood. His left arm is burnt and… melted, but it's still there, being helped to stay as Uriel held onto it.

Raziel quickly activated the Light power of his, trying his best to tend his brother's wound.

It's too… heart-breaking. All I can see is my brother's pained face. He's a b.a.s.t.a.r.d but… G.o.d, I can't take it. I must find out how the h.e.l.l he turned out as a complete psychopath… I don't want this to happen to him…

But I guess that this was him.

Raziel then clicked his tongue, shaking his head as he propped his twin on his back, carrying him towards the safest place, away from knights that had breached over his army's frontlines.

"Ah… I'm really lucky to have a brother like you." Uriel chuckled.

Well, that doesn't sound familiar at all.

Oh, G.o.d… here we go.

"Save your strength, you idiot of a brother." Raziel gritted his teeth, attacking the people that came to block his path.

"Pfft—" The other Cosmos chuckled again, "… you're the idiot here…"

"What?"

"Leave me here."

"What?! No! Absolutely not!"

"Elder Brother!" Uriel screamed in his twin's ear. "You must… secure whatever the Nebula is. Even… even the Void Kingdom is after it now! They were… they were also waiting for a G.o.d d.a.m.ned chance from this war to wipe you, the Crown Prince, out of this universe! Leave me be!" He's out of breath, but he kept pus.h.i.+ng himself away from Raziel's back.

"You…" Raziel was pushed away by his brother, "… are an idiot, really."

"Brother," Uriel stood up with a wide smile on his face, "I… I'll back you up. I won't… die. We can't be called the Gemini if I do. Plus," He chuckled, "We promised Mallory that we'd be back for her, right?" He then backed away, activating his Void prowess and using it as a smoke screen.

"s.h.i.+t." Raziel clicked his tongue as he shook his head, heading towards the opposite direction his brother took.

Oof. Raziel dropped a swear word.

Something is definitely going to go wrong, I can feel it—literally. Raziel's inside is turning upside down and it's unpleasant.

Ah. The Void Kingdom really did fallout… not only because of the Nebula, but because of Raziel as well. Turns out that, from what I could see, they used the Northern Kingdom in order to wipe out both the Eastern and Western ones, masked as a "disciplinary action", to get a chance to get the d.a.m.ned Nebula for themselves and a.s.sa.s.sinate the Crown Prince, maybe even both of the Princes during the war and… probably call it an accident as an excuse.

Heck, they even gave their national treasure, the gift of Void, to the Light Kingdom to gain their trust. Those f.u.c.kers.

A couple of idiots attacked Raziel but my man just swatted them away with one flick of his wrists. Within a couple of minutes, Raziel reached the floating island the Kingdoms are fighting to get to. A lot of people, mostly dead ones, are already there so, he quickly focused to the obvious golden light that came from the ground all the way towards the sky.

That must be Nebula…

Raziel approached it casually, like he absolutely knows what the h.e.l.l it is. He kept a fair distance though, not letting himself too close at the light. Rays of lights coming from the Nebula are trying their best to touch him… what the heck? It looks like it's reacting to him.

Actually, it's definitely the Nebula, the golden eye. The power it's emanating is very familiar to my golden eye that show up at the last second every time I'm in danger… but this one's more… condensed… more… dangerous.

People from who-knows-where attempted to, well, approach the Nebula before Raziel does and—holy s.h.i.+t they got incinerated.

Raziel definitely paled from the sight. He took a step back to slowly get away but failed as the Nebula pulled him towards its blinding golden light. "Ah—f.u.c.k." He dropped his second swear word as he got sucked into the golden pillar of light on the Heart of the Universe.

The feeling of coldness and warmth simultaneously washed over his body.

'Ah… I messed up.' I heard his thoughts echo all around me, which is a first. 'I was too caught up in my thoughts whether I should change it or not that it had become far too late.' He chuckled in his thoughts before opening his mouth to speak, "I'm… an absolute idiot."

That, you are, Raziel.

The light quickly dimmed as it condensed to the Cosmos's eyes. He's exhausted after all of that, making him land on his knees, looking up at the sky that is full of colourful stars and moons. He's dazed, staring up to the stars that are scattered across the galaxy.

"Bro… brother…!" Uriel's voice echoed and Raziel slowly looked at him with his now mismatched eyes. "Brother…?" Uriel called him again.

A tear escaped from Raziel eyes, "I'm… sorry…"

"Wh-what? Why should you be sorry?" Uriel laughed, approaching him.

Scenes appeared from Raziel visions, and, this time, they reached me too.

He's so afraid of letting anyone know that he knows what the future will bring.

He's so afraid to change the dark future that awaits him yet… he tried to, he really did… but it was too late for him.

The moment the Nebula merged itself to him… is the moment his downfall starts to come.

Ah, Raziel is an idiot…

"I really am."

"Stop doing that, Raziel!" I turned around to meet the said man's golden eyes. By now, I'm getting used to him and this random theatre popping out of nowhere so I didn't get startled as much as before.

"I could've prevented everything, just as you said." Sadness and regret lingered in his eyes, "But I was coward… and I still am up to now…"

I approached my other me, sitting down at the seat beside him. "You really are an idiot." I deadpanned at him, he looked back in defeat, "But don't lower yourself. I'm sure that… if I was in your situation I… also wouldn't know what to choose—oh, wait, I am a part of you."

He directed a small smile towards me, "If it was you, you would've done things differently. You're an irregular, Orion."

"The f.u.c.k's an irregular—"

"Thank you for trying to comfort me though…" He cut my words off. "I appreciate it." He then quickly glanced back at the giant movie screen that holds the face of Uriel, "From this point of my story… I guess you already know that things will go downhill…"

"…" I also looked back at the screen when he let go of his words, but I didn't expect for the screen to—literally—suck me back into his perspective.

Now, this—I'm not going to get used to this.
