I wake up confused. What happened? Then I remember the fight I had with Eddie. I get up and go to my kitchen and open a bottle of whiskey. I do not feel like being sober. I take a huge gulp and walk up the stairs. I look at my reflection. My dark skin looked tired, my afro hair is messy and shrinking. In other words, I look terrible. I take another sip of my whiskey and go to bed. I lie down and look up at the ceiling.

I try not to make any slight movements. As I reach out slowly a stream of water reaches out around me. The stream and I get closer and closer before I touch it. As soon as I touched it the water burst and falls to the ground in little droplets. I look at myself in the mirror and my inner nerd starts to flare up. I get up out of my bed still a little tipsy and think of all the possibilities or reasons that could come from this. Wait a minute.... I've been shot. Why can't I feel that pain right now.
