Hurricane:A Flash Story 24 Meet Hurricane

I put my suit back on and start running to Star Labs. Once I get there I slow down when I get inside. I want the element of surprise. As I am tiptoeing I see the suit. It's propped up on a mannequin and it's a little bit dirty. I hear multiple footsteps walking toward me and a familiar voice. I can't remember who it is though.

"Cisco the suit is not that important."

"Yes it is Caitlin! Barry got it dirty and now I have to clean it."

While they continue to argue about the suit I think of what to do with them. I could knock them out or I could keep them somewhere. While I'm thinking I accidentally knock something over.

"What was that?"

They slowly make their way over here and I have nowhere to go. In an idiot decision I run all over star labs and try to find somewhere to put them. I find a jail like place in the bas.e.m.e.nt and I run back up to grab them.

"CISCO, HURRY IT MIGHT BE THE REVERSE FLASH."

I grab the woman using her handprint to get in then go back for the man. When I return I can't find him anywhere. I slowly walk through the lab trying to find him when suddenly I flip through the air and land on my back. It's the flash.

"So we meet again."

I roll my eyes and do a kick up flip to my feet.

"Well I have some unfinished business from our last fight."

"Well then, let's finish it."

Just then I feel a piercing pain in my left leg. I look down and notice an arrow. d.a.m.n it.

"He's not alone this time."

I pull out the arrow and speed up in one place kinda like a faze. However, instead of going through the ground I just heal my leg. It's a cool trick for later.

When I'm done I take the arrow in one hand and drop on the floor in front of me.

"Then I guess I have to take down two heroes today"

I get ready to charge but Emily steps in front of me. She's wearing her suit and is giving me a death glare. I grab her and run to the roof of STAR labs.

"Emily, what the h.e.l.l?"

"What do you think you're doing? How did you manage to p.i.s.s off both the flash and the arrow."

"Do you remember the night dad was killed? We saw a flash of lightning. Kind of like the one trailing the flash."

Emily is taken aback. She's processing the accusation. Until she finally breaks the silence.

"The flash didn't kill dad. It was the reverse flash. The reverse flash killed the flash's mom and framed his dad. He probably did the same for us."

I stare in disbelief. That's impossible. But I can't really say anything about things being impossible. I can shoot water out of my hands for crying out loud. I turn my back so I can look at the city below. I don't know what to think at this point.

"Do they know who you really are?"

"Yes they do. I've been working with the arrow for 2 years."

I freeze with my back still toward her. My twin sister has been working with the arrow for 2 years… and she didn't tell me. I can't be mad though. If she didn't find out by herself I would've never told her.

"Are you sure you trust them?"

Emily looks down at her feet.

"100%" She says with a smile

"I still don't want them to know who I really am. I know you trust them but I don't."

"I understand. But then what should I call you. Like your superhero name."

I think about it.

"Emily… Do you remember what dad used to call me as a kid? He used to call me his hurricane of happiness."

Emily grins.

"That's bada.s.s."

I look over my shoulder and smile. My eyes glow red as I speed us back to the arrow and the flash.

I stand at a good distance away while Emily faces them in front of me.

"Guys. I would like you to meet the newest superhero."

Emily looks back at me and smiles. I can tell by the look in her eye that she has been wanting to do this for a while.

"Meet Hurricane."
