"Papa..." Nana whimpered.
She quickly jumped out of his lap.
"I'll see you later papa...!" She cried, rus.h.i.+ng out his apartment.
"SHE LEAVES ME JUST LIKE THAT!?" The professor cried out.
"Haha!" Randall laughed hysterically.
"Luci!" Nana cried, running down the hallway.
"Hey, hey no running in the halls!" Claudia scolded.
"S-sorry Claudia!" Nana cried, waving.
"Luci...!?" Nana cried, continuing her search.
"Kat!" Nana cried as she saw her and Aya walking by.
"Have you seen Luci!?" She asked.
"Um, I think he went that way...?" Aya said confused, pointing towards the balcony.
"Thank you!" Nana cried, hurrying past the pair.
"What was that all about I wonder..." Kat mumbled.
"Luci...!" Nana pleaded, reaching the balcony.
"Oh, Nana?" Lumi turned around.
"Luci headed back towards your apartment." She said, puffing out smoke from her pipe.
"UGH!" Nana cried, turning back around, sprinting away.

"Nana, no running!" Lumi called out.
"LUCI!" Nana cried, banging her tiny fists on the door to their apartment.
The door began to slowly creak open.
"What's up...?" He muttered.
Nana puffed her cheeks in annoyance.
"What?" He chuckled.
"I just needed some fresh air is all." He said, letting Nana in.
Nana huffed, plopping down on the couch.
"What, what is it?" He laughed, taking a seat beside her.
"Dummy!" Nana cried.
"I choose you...!" She grumbled angrily, sticking her tongue out at him.
Luci's eyes widened.
"You what...?"
"I choose to be with you instead of my real papa...!" She huffed.
"Nana..." Luci whispered.
"are you sure...?" He asked.
"If anyone could teach you about how to deal with being a demon it's-"
"But papa isn't a hybrid like us!" Nana cried.
"You and I are the only hybrids living here!" She continued.
"I want you to teach me...!" She blushed.
"Luci..." She whispered, burying her head in his chest.
"I love you...!" She cried, looking up at him.
"I love you lots and lots!" She sniffled, wiping her nose on his s.h.i.+rt.
"N-Nana..." Luci began.
He then reached over for a tissue.
"First I guess I'll have to teach you some manners..." He sighed, as he wiped her nose.
Nana looked up at him tearfully.
"Nana..." He began, smiling softly.
"I love you too..." He whispered, as he embraced the tiny girl.
The two shared a long hug.
"Thank you for choosing me..." He whispered.
"On that day..." Nana began.
"Weren't you the one who chose me...?" She asked, giggling.
"Heh," Luci smiled.
"I guess we chose each other, huh?" He whispered, planting a kiss on the girls head.
