In Lin Guiying's house--

Lin Guiying didn't have her disguise on. Instead, she had clothes that complimented her beauty.

Holding her hand was Shao Lingxin, who grudgingly complied to let her go to school today.

Never did she expect that this girl would request to skip from her job this day as well! So you've become so brazen, eh? Let's see how you'll eacape!

Her grip became tighter...

The two headed out as Lin Guiying's phone rang, indicating that her phone had received a message.

She took her phone out to check the message.

*1 new message from @ZhouLei

[Yo yo wats up its yo boi zhou Lei

im on wechat and im here to say:

where are you]

Lin Guiying bit her lip as she tugged her hand away from Shao Lingxin. Of course, nothing happened except for her hand being crushed even more.

"Ouch! Ouch! Just let go," Lin Guiying said as she pulled her hand away with more force, "I'm coming with you, okay?"

Hearing her words, Shao Lingxin squinted her eyes as she let go of the girl's hand. As she did this, she caught sight of a particular phone.

Shao Lingxin s.n.a.t.c.hed the phone from Lin Guiying. "What's this?"

The latter, who didn't even notice that her phone wasn't in her hands anymore until her manager said something, freaked out and tried to steal her phone back.

"Stop! Give it back!" This annoying manager...!

Shao Lingxin easily pushed the little actress away as she read their conversation.

"Yo yo, what's up, it's 'yo boi'? Does this mean 'your boy'?" Shao Lingxin's eyes became dire. "I already told you not to establish any relations.h.i.+ps!"

"What do you mean? He's only my friend!" Lin Guiying rolled her eyes as she explained, "'Yo boi' is just something someone says... I don't know, it's kind of funny."

"Hmph! If I find out that it means something else..." Shao Lingxin put Lin Guiying's phone in her pocket, which the latter's eyes catched.

"Give it back! I need to respond to him."

"No need. Let's go." Shao Lingxin dragged Lin Guiying by pulling on the collar of her dress from the back.

The little actress could only be helpless in this situation. This manager's strength is too much for me...

....

In the Diamond Agency, bas.e.m.e.nt studio 1--

Zhou Jiahao wore a white polo s.h.i.+rt under a black suit and a little tie in the middle.

As for pants, he wore black formal ones as well as completely black shoes.

He looked like a proper businessman.

Well, none of these clothes was his, but rather, his boss had ordered someone to make him the model.

As such, he was practicing right now being a model. He exited the dressing room and walked to the studio.

The cameraman was infuriated with this person, he had no talent being a model at all! However, he had no choice — the boss had appointed him to train this person until he became a proper model.

"Ah, Boss Qing, why...?" Even though he knew he didn't have a choice, he still felt indignant that he got the responsibility of training this... pretty face.

Well, he had to admit that this guy really had a handsome face. But that wasn't all that was needed when it came to modeling!

If all one had was a pretty face, then they would attract all the attention, and the clothes they were selling would be ignored!

He needed to implant this lesson to Zhou Jiahao until the time came when the latter finally understood how important it was.

Zhou Jiahao entered his vision...

Oh my G.o.d! He's so handsome! G.o.dd.a.m.n!

The many female employees that worked together with the cameraman widened their eyes and drooled.

However, the big boss cameraman didn't feel anything at all.

Of course, the number of people that could even compete with this guy's handsomeness could be counted on one hand. But that didn't mean that the cameraman had no experience handling people like this.

He would simply judge them by their talent or pa.s.sion in this field.

That was the reason he despised Zhou Jiahao.

Judging by his performance the yesterday, the cameraman could tell that the person in front of him had neither talent nor pa.s.sion for modeling.

It was almost as if he was forced into this!

Soon enough, the shooting started.

...Later...

Heavy panting sounded throughout the studio. "How... much... more?"

The photographer looked at the tired middle-aged man in front of him and felt the urge to say, "It's decent enough, you can go now."

The only thing stopping this professional was his ma.s.sive ego that didn't allow him to give up on even the most dire cases.

"You have no talent in modeling... We have to do this for at least 5 more days before you can be considered... below average." And that's me being nice.

"D- do this? What do you mean?" Zhou Jiahao had a bad feeling.

"O. Ver. Time."

At this moment, a number of veins popped inside Zhou Jiahao's head. Of course, this is a figure of speech...

.....

In Zhou Xiang's workplace--

A certain someone's knees touched the floor as that someone begged for mercy from her boss.

"Please boss, no more overtime!" Zhou Xiang had an earnest expression on her face.

In front of her, a man wearing a suit and tie rested his head on his two hands as he wore a deadpan expression. He looked like he didn't care even one bit about the plight of the person in front of him.

Seeing as her pleading didn't prompt any response from the boss, she crawled closer until she reached the wooden desk which separated the two.

"At least... pay me for the overtime!" Zhou Xiang changed her stance to an aggressive one. "Isn't this illegal?!"

Still, the boss had no reaction except for a sigh. "Who told you to corrupt the system and mess up all the files?"

"B- but..." Zhou Xiang stammered as she couldn't form a retort.

"You can already consider it a blessing I haven't fired you yet!" A glint flashed on the boss's eye before he looked down on an open drawer.

Zhou Xiang felt her knees getting weak so she stood up and put her face right in front of the boss.

This sudden move startled the boss, but he didn't retreat.

The two just stared off before Zhou Xiang walked out of the office as she spoke, "I'm going to sue you sooner or later!"

Slam! The door was shut.

The boss glared at the door for a few seconds... then he faceplanted on his desk.

His face flushed red and his hands trembling, the boss couldn't take it anymore.

On the open drawer was the same picture that he looked at the previous day.

He grabbed the picture and looked at it with uncontrollable desire...
