The entire settlement was raving about one man single handedly saving an entire settlement even if the military did try at least.

Unfortunately, Allen wasn't there to receive the adulation from the people. He was completely spent and currently lying in a hover bed in the mobile base of operations. His situation was pretty bad. Sheer exhaustion was the biggest contributing factor. Though blood loss was also up there.

In the settlement, which was called Timataville, was a town that wanted to break away from the city's intrusive nature.

Though with the settlement under threat from the beasts, they had no choice, but with the fact that with only one individual getting the victory they could reject the city rules.

Andrew was ecstatic about the news of Allen stopping the threat. This could give the city ma.s.sive amount of influence, because it was his idea to begin with.

He immediately contacted the mayor of Timataville. A beautiful red head lady who seemed to be of Asian descent appeared in front of Andrew.

She didn't speak because she wanted nothing to do with Andrew. Andrew smiled brightly at her, "Good Day Miss Aika Hazumi. I pray that you heard the good news?"

"Mister Andrew Cheres. We are an independent unit, so I am going to say this once. Don't think we are easy prey."

"My, miss Aika, open hostility from the get go. Well suffice to say that we had a contractual agreement. We safe you from the beasts and you join as a new Suburban location, and will become one of my personal aids."

Aika smiled maliciously, "No, that wasn't our agreement. Our agreement was that your forces aids and eliminate the beast threat in the upcoming fight. All you did annoy them. This SS threat eliminator of yours was the real savior, not you."

"The key term was: Your, miss Aika. He is after all under me."

Aika shook her head, "You really think I am that naive. Yes, I might be young, but the scary thing is I am actually good at what I do. That being said here is a little something that you should hear."

A recording played out through the comms. It played the events that transpired at Mea's apartment, where Allen was forced to agree with Andrew.

"Aika continued, "This sounded more like indentured servitude. So had my people start digging. This man isn't even recognized as an official citizen, and why did he need to keep a low profile. It also turned out that you were going to keep all the credit, regardless of the outcome. Just how deep does this rabbit hole go?"

Andrew's face tensed up, "You are playing a dangerous game, miss Aika. We lost good men in that fight."

"Truth be told is I would never think of treating him the way you did. So, I tell you what. We will aid your city in whatever means that you require of us, but we will not accept the terms of being a suburban area. We will still be our own town. This agreement will only last till next year then you are on your own again. Oh, I would also like to meet our real savior, you don't want me to go reporting his existence, do you?"

"You signed an agreement."

"An agreement that wasn't even fulfilled, or at the very best partly fulfilled. That meant that we will only agree in part."

The call cuts out directly after that. Andrew flew into a rage. Throwing things around, "YOU WILL RUE THE DAY YOU MESSED WITH ME, GIRL!"

He called up another person, "Woooooo, you can't just call me whenever you feel like it, pretty boy, or do you want me to feed your entrails to my beasties? It's been a while for them."

A familiar twisted looking wearing goggles appeared.

"Enough of that, Campbell. I want you to get rid of Aika."

"Not the original plan. You said that I would have supreme authority in that area, but that handsome boy of yours f.u.c.ked everything up."

"It was your second beast that f.u.c.ked everything up. Your beasts were supposed to be collateral."

"Yes, but the agreement was that I would have a few morsels of the humans for my beasties, but they are all dead, no?"

"Why did you even bring him in?"

"I needed to show my influence. My idea was to fall back with him. I wasn't exactly expecting him to wipe them all out."

"Then there will be no deal."

"You're a sick psychopath, aren't you? Can you promise not to kill him? If you can, then he is all yours."

Campbell started laughing manically, "You, my friend, have a deal, but can't promise that he will still have his bits and pieces. Might even preserve his d.i.c.k in some formaldehyde. Bring him to me, and Aika will die a slow and torturous death by my beasties. After all, you wanted this to look like an accident after all."

"Don't expect me to give him on a silver platter to you. He is currently resting on the mobile barracks we have set up out in the field."

"That's perfect."

A day later

Allen woke up in some pain. He was still pretty much exhausted but he was tired of sleeping. A female voice chimed in beside him, "Mister Allen, was it?"

Allen turned to look at a female android, "Yeah? What's the problem?"

"There is a female waiting to meet with you."

Allen feared the worst. He thought it might be Mea, so he asked cautiously, "Uhm, who might this female be?"

"She says her name is Aika. She is the mayor of Timataville."

"Timataville? I guess it shouldn't be a problem. The android left to show Aika in.

After a little while Aika walked in. That day it became possible for Allen to develop a crush, but he immediately suppressed it.

In front of him stood a G.o.ddess. At least in his eyes. A cute beautiful Asian girl perhaps in her early twenties showed up. She reminded him of the j.a.panese idols in his day. She had long red hair and dark green eyes. She was a pet.i.te la.s.s about 1.52m (about 5 feet) and weighed about 49kg (about a 108 pounds). She wasn't well endowed but was well shaped.

Then a very ominous and familiar voice sounded behind her, "Hey Allen."

He severe coldness sounded in Mea's voice, "Yeah, this yesterday morning was it? Now we are here. In a military base of all places, in the medical wing."

Fearfully he replied, "I saved a settlement. That's gotta count for something…right?"

Aika cleared her throat behind Mea, "Sorry to break up your lover's quarrel…"

Mea blushed copiously, "We, we aren't lovers. We are friends just friend."

Allen's jaw dropped. What was with that clichéd response? "Why the h.e.l.l would I be interested in this bimbo? We are colleagues at best and even that is pus.h.i.+ng it."

A vein popped up on Mea's forehead, and spoke up through gritted teeth, "You and me are going to have a loooooong talk after this."

Another cold sweat broke out on his brow.

Aika sighed, "Could we get back to the situation at hand? I am here to get an estimate of your character. If you don't mind?"

Allen shrugged, "Mah, shouldn't be a problem. Kinda stuck in bed with nowhere to go."

Aika was just about to continue when a man's voice chimed in, "Ah, I finally found you. All weak and vulnerable, just the way I like it."

A twisted looking man with futuristic goggles entered the fray, rubbing his crotch, "Ah where is my manners. I was very interested in your activity out in the field, yesterday. It gave me such a hard-on. Even taking out two of my best beasts."

Everyone in the room looked at him quizzically and became cautious.
