"Arun?" She did not expect him this time.

"Yes, I am." He said more confidently as he gave an answer to her all questions.

"What are you doing here?" She remembered the last time what he had told her they would not see each other again. But now he was here in front of her eyes instead of Raj.

A lopsided smile appeared on his lips, "Why? Did you expect someone else?"

"Ah...no, no, I am not expecting anyone." She denied immediately. "Arun, why did you come here?" That question was still remaining. She wanted to know what was his intention.

"I believed you have seen my message that I am coming for you." He gave her a daring look to say other way.

She didn't want to reveal her secret before him. But she was confused by his behavior. "What are you saying? I didn't get what you 're talking."

"You didn't get what I am talking?" He chuckled, "Well, I have to make you clear." He knew that she was perplexed. She was still believing it was Raj who messaged her. "Hi, and h.e.l.lo the first two words we chatted. Now you get who am I?" Her eyes went wide. How he did knew that. It was sure he had seen the messages.

"No, that's not possible. You are lying. It's, Raj." She whispered yelled.

"Why? Only you could use your sister's picture, can't I use my friend's?" His question caught her off guard.

"How did you know everything?...oh my G.o.d! I couldn't understand anything." She didn't know what to believe. Arun or Raj who was true?  "please tell me you are playing with me...."

"Yeah! I was playing with you but now I am going to end the play." He walked over to her and held the wheelchair.

"Arun? What are you doing?" She began to frighten as he was taking her outside. "Where are you taking me?"

"Relax, sweetheart I am not kidnapping you. Your mother gave me permission." He smiled down at her.

"No! I won't believe you." She chided. But he did not pay attention to her as brought her near to the car. "At least tell me, where are you taking me?" She implored.

He was about to bend down to carry her, she stopped him. "No! I can manage it."

"But I like to take you in my arms." He being a stubborn man took her in his arms and gently placed her on the seat. She had no clue about his demeanor changes. He was not the same man she knew.

"It's going to be a quite long drive." He informed her as he started the car.

Like he said it was quite a long drive. They did not exchange a word since the drive began. As they approached the outskirts of town, Soumya's mood visibly lightened as she never gets a chance to come to the place.

"Did you ever come to the place?" Her fixed eyes quickly landed on him. She shook her head.

"Where are we going?" She was curious to know where he was taking her.

"We almost there," he said.

Their car pa.s.sed a big iron gate as they came to a view of a huge mansion in front of their eyes. He parked the car and took her outside.

"Oh my goodness! What I am seeing!" She exclaimed. "Is it a palace?"

He smiled when he saw she was eyeing the mansion like a kid. "I will show you a very important person. The queen of this palace."

She raised her eyebrow, "Queen?"

He took her to the backyard where his grandma was resting in peace. "Grandma, see who is here." He chirped. She looked up to him like he's an alien. He was talking to his late grandma. "I promised you I will bring her here. Now she is here, your granddaughter. I know you will love her as your granddaughter." He was talking like a little boy. She couldn't help but smile at his childishness.

"Say 'Hi' to my grandma," he urged her.

"Huh?.....ok I will," she waved her hand like she had really seen his grandma. "Hi, grandma. How are you--" she suddenly covered her mouth with hand as she realized her stupidity. "I am sorry!"

He smiled down at her. "Grandma, see you later. I have an important thing."

"Bye!" She said.

Arun took her back to the car. "Do you like my grandma?"

Her mind was like a whirlwind. She wanted a fair answer from him. "Arun, what's happening here? Why did you bring me here? And this mansion was your grandma's, right? That means you are something,"

"I will tell everything." Was he all said before left from there.

Next they came to a lake side. Soumya couldn't take off of her eyes as the scenery stuck in her mind.

"Wow! It's beautiful!" She exclaimed.

"It is my favorite place. I come here often." He said as he carried her in his arms. This time he did not take the wheelchair out.

"Arun, put me down, I mean wheelchair." She said.

"I told you once I won't ever drop you down. I'd love to carry in my arms." He leaned to her face, "you can wrap your hands around my neck."

She buried her face in his neck as she wrapped her hands around his neck. "I think your reddish cheeks are more beautiful than the sunset." She blushed furiously.

He carefully placed her one of the benches and stood in front of her. "I know you are really confused. You have a lot of questions to ask me. Now I tell you everything. Everything about me."

She wanted to hear that. He faced the lake as began to open his life. "I am product of one night stand. A big mistake of my parents. My mother left me after giving birth me and my father had already start his own life. I didn't even a get chance to call them mom and dad. But I lied to everyone they got separated when I was eight years old including Raj too. I don't why but I just did. My grandma took my custody. She brought me up and gave me all love and care. When the time came I have to take care of business in New York. That's my grandma's decision but my dad was against it. Our family issues taking away to court for grandma's wealth.  I returned to India for starting my business here because I loved to stay here with my grandma. Thus we won the case. I got all rights over my grandma's wealth but I lost her forever. I was completely lost myself. I started to hide from myself everyone especially from my father, I did not wish to fight against him. I just needed some time alone for myself. That time I was using his SIM card and his social accounts for contacting my friends in New York." He turned around to see her. She was waiting for him to complete it.

"One day Raj happened to see your sister's picture so did I. His eyes caught her beauty while mine caught your words. I didn't even know why I did start to follow you. Your words have the magical power to make me addicted to you like a good poison. But I got a doubt about the girl in the picture, she looked like a carefree girl but the words behind girl was definitely care about everything and I could even feel the pain that you're hiding in your words. What made me an impatient man to know more about you. I kept messaging you just for a reply. I had a belief one day you would replied me. Finally you did." She couldn't believe he was the one who messaged her. As if someone splashed water on her she was startled by his confession.

"You can't even imagine how much I was happy that day just for a reply from you. I waited every single day for your message. I felt like you are really someone to me. I could figured out your introvert personality as my doubt getting stronger about the picture. I a.s.sumed that you used someone else's picture like I did." Her breath hitched. He was always right about her. He could understand her without seeing just through her words.

"Did you remember the day when your family went to a function and you were all alone in the home. I was tensed when you said someone knocking on your door. That day I realized my feelings for you. And that's why I told you I wanted to see you." Now she could believe him. Indeed he was the real one. She did not lose her love. He was right before her eyes. Her eyes began to glistening in happiness.

"It's you?"

"Yes! It's me the real one who fall for you."

But yet one doubt was left. "Raj?"

"When I told him I was going to meet the girl he switched our place to impress your sister. I knew that he get attracted to the picture the very first time so I let him to do whatever he wanted because I was not expecting your sister there instead I wanted to see the real one. That day I did saw you were looking at them. I was watching you inside the car. But yet I couldn't make sure it's you until we first talk each other. Your 'Hi and 'h.e.l.lo'. That really caught me. The very same girl who used to chat me was sitting in front of me like a nervous doll. For a moment I thought I wanted to tell you it's me but I stopped myself. Because I wanted to know how much you really want me in your life. I was secretly watching you all time. I did all to make our moments special by booked the whole theater just for us and the dinner in my farmhouse. Your sister and Raj were really the third wheels. Poor Raj he didn't even know anything about my secret planning. He thought I did everything for his love." He laughed while remembering Raj.

"It is true? Or--"

"You can't still believe me? I know it's quite shocking for you. But it is the truth. I am sorry for making you cry." He sat on his knees before her and took her hands in his.

"My grandma told me once somewhere in the world someone was waiting for me. If she did not come to me, I should find her. Like she said, I did. I found you." Tears began to run out from her eyes. She cried a lot for him before. But now she got him back. He wiped her tears as she was smiling. She did not know how to express her happiness.

"Do you wanna hug me, don't you?" He asked as he read her.

Her eyes went wide, "how did you know?"

"I know what your heart wants." He pointed his hand to her heart. "Because I am living here, in your heart." Her heart beating faster as his intense gaze making her melt under his touch.

"Soumya, I don't want to say my feelings through words. Words are just words, anyone could say by picking up the most descriptive words for expressing the feelings. But I don't need that way. I want you to realise yourself, feel yourself. Because love is not merely a word. It is a feeling which can not be described by anyone." She felt like she would faint as he went on, "But I couldn't hold back myself anymore from saying it out loud." He kissed her palms before saying it. "I love you."

She became numb as his words registered in her mind. 'I love you' he really said it. The word she was waiting to hear from him. She thought the world stopped right now. Before she could come back to her senses a diamond ring caught her eyes. "I don't know if it is the right time to ask you but I couldn't wait anymore. Soumya, I want you in my life. I want to live my entire life with you." He took a deep breath and said straight looking into her eyes. "Will you marry me?"

That's it. She couldn't let him dream of a life with her. That was not right. She made her heart as stone and she said.

"I-I can't--"
