A month later, inside Marine Ford.

Tsuru ran into Sengokus office with a worried look on her face.

Sengoku: "Tsuru-chan what's wrong?"

Tsuru: "I can't find Sora anywhere!"

Sengoku paused for a second realizing something. "Didn't you tell Garp he could take him to East Blue when he goes to see his grandson?" He asked to confirm his thoughts. Just as she was about yo answer, she realized that question meant Garp had already taken him.

Tsuru: "GARP!!!"

Knowing she couldn't leave her duties to follow Garp and take Sora back, she decided she would give both of them and earful later. Sora for believing Garp even though she told him not to listen to the man. Sengoku just sighed because she still probably didn't know Garp would leave him for a year with his grandson. He decided to pretend he didn't know either.

Sengoku: "Well, he'll be back soon, so don't worry."

——Somewhere In The Calm Belt, A Week Later—

A large marine battle s.h.i.+p crept on the ocean. Since there was no wind on the Calm Belt, several marines on board had to row the boat to move forward. It had been three days since the last island they stopped at, where he had found the flame fruit. 'X+ luck is really op as s.h.i.+t!' Sora thought. Naturally he was gonna give it to Ace, and he had already sent a clone out to retrieve the lightning fruit. He would give that to Sabo. Though, since he thought Sabo would be strong enough to beat admirals in the future without a fruit he had debated it. In the end he decided that as long as he teaches them not to just rely on the devil fruits, they would be fine.

Sora smiled thinking of the brothers. They had become role models to live freely in his past life. Now, in this life he planned to make them stronger

and be their brother too. Of course he also planned to bring them to his world to train in their own ITG, which they could share with their crew.

Since he wasn't doing anything by just sitting in his room, he decided to talk with Luna for awhile. He had some questions for her too, anyway.

Sora: 'Luna, I forgot to ask, does my s.h.i.+p need a s.h.i.+pwright?'

Luna: {Yes, Sora. Unless you want to only have the most basic of basic s.h.i.+ps. Also having a s.h.i.+pwright, can alter its course of evolution. For example, with someone as good aa Franky, your s.h.i.+p could evolve into a s.h.i.+p capable of flight with many other functions both for battle and things outside of battle.}

Sora: 'Looks like I have to hope I get someone capable of being a s.h.i.+pwright from the lottery then. What are the next upgrade requirements for my s.h.i.+p as well as its evolutions?'

Luna: {Next you need to find a Vice-Captain for a sail boat, and after that would be a navigator, a flag and name the s.h.i.+p for a caravel.}

Sora: 'That's not too bad. Can I get video game characters from the lottery?'

Luna: {Yes, you can.}

Sora: 'Cool.'

Sora smiled happily. After making a clone to inform him of anything, he went into his world to spend his time with Monet, Sugar, Cherry and the rest.

Sora, the real Sora, came out of his room. They were still a day away from Goa Kingdom, but some pirates were asking for trouble. After telling Garp to let him handle it, since he needed to stretch, he walked to the front of the s.h.i.+p.

Seeing the pirate flag, Sora nearly laughed. It was the black cat pirates! He was thinking of dealing with them at some point, so this was kind of convenient for him. Waiting til they were close enough, he jumped aboard the s.h.i.+p.

Of course, the pirates decided fo threaten him since he was just a kid and not really bother with him. However, Sora didn't care about these guys and just used conquerors haki to knock them out, leaving the clean up to the marines. 'Guess, I'll also go to Syrup Village during this year,' Sora thought.

A day later, they finally arrived at Goa Kingdom. They were met with fanfare from various n.o.bles and the marine branch in the kingdom. Of course, its only because they wanted a chance to get acquainted with Marine Hero Garp. Sora thought these people were disgusting, as they thought those who weren't 'n.o.bles' were trash and their lives didn't matter. They viewed those with a higher status as superior in every aspect, even though each and every one of them was useless.

Garp ignored them and after informing his crew, sent someone to inform whoever was in charge they would be staying for a week. Then Garp and Sora headed towards a dock where Garp started to look for a dinghy. Sora simply took out his, offering Garp a seat.

Garp: "Bwahaha! It seems you do know how to respect your elders, brat!"

Handing Sora the paddles, Garp ordered him to row.

Sora: "Hey old man, it's my s.h.i.+p. You should row since I'm letting you sit in it."

Garp: "Well we're going to my home, so since I'm letting you be a guest there, you should row."

——————2 hours later, Mt. Colubo——————

???: "I'm gonna be Pirate King!"

???: "No! I'm gonna be Pirate King!"

???: "Neither of you will be Pirate King! Because I will be Pirate King!"

Inside a large house in the mountains, three kids were fighting over the t.i.tle of Pirate King. These were of course Ace, Luffy, and Sabo.

Ace was 9 years old. He wore a red tank, and brown shorts. He had messy black hair and freckles.

Sabo, like Ace, was also 9 years old. He wore a black top hat with blue goggles strapped around it, a blue suit jacket with the sleeves rolled up, a cravat and a pair of cyan shorts held up by his belt. He had a missing tooth and short, curly blond hair.

Luffy was 6, the same age as Sora. Luffy wore a straw hat, a red vest, and blue shorts. He had a scar with two st.i.tches under his left eye and s.h.a.ggy black hair.

Suddenly, the door opened to reveal an angry Garp.

Garp: "You will be MARINES! Not pirates!"

Then he gave them each a 'Love Punch.' While they were suffering from Garps love, Sora simply watched amusedly. Soon, decided to step in and launched a kick at Garps head. After all, these would be his companions for the next year, he couldn't let them suffer under Garps love too long.

Garp didn't expect the kick as he was sent flying into a wall by Sora.

Sora: "I finally got you, old man!"

However before he finished gloating he was given a 'Super Love Punch' straight into the floor next to Luffy, Ace, and Sabo. Although he didn't actually get hurt, he decided to stay down to avoid another. Looking to his sides he saw the others doing the same thing, although Luffy seemed to be laughing at him. In response, Sora punched Luffy while saying, "don't laugh at me or I'll beat you up!"

Luffy got up angrily and returned a punch of his own. Then Ace and Sabo got up and joined the fight. Of course, Sora held back, keeping himself at their level since it wasn't a serious fight.

After they exchanged punches and kicks for awhile, Luffy finally remembered he didn't know the guy they were fighting at all. "Hey," he, while stopping, said "who are you?" Ace and Sabo also stopped and looked at him.

Garp: "This is Voi D. Sora, a future marine, and son of my friend. He will be staying here for a year to convince you to become marines."

Ace: "Hey, why do you want to be a marine?"

Sora: "I just want to live and have fun freely, and have a harem of beautiful women. Being a marine or not doesn't really matter, now that you mention it."

Sabo: "But marines are strict and have a lot of rules. You should be a pirate!"

Sora: "Then it's settled! I will become Pirate King!"

The smile on Garps face froze hearing the conversation. Especially the last part. He didn't pay attention to the fight that started afterwards; instead, he hurriedly ran out to call Sengoku on his denden mus.h.i.+.

Purupurupurupuru- Kacha!

Garp: "Sengoku is Tsuru-chan there?"

On the other end of the line, Sengoku looked at Tsuru standing across from him. Listening to Garps worried tone, he thought something happened to Sora and didn't want her to know. "No," he said, "by the way, thank Sora for his vision when we met him. Thanks to him, we were able to fake Rosinantes death, along with a kid named Trafalgar Law."

Garp: "Good. Don't tell her what I'm about to tell you under any circ.u.mstances, OKAY?!"

Sengoku: "Okay... Garp did something happen to Sora?"

Garp: "No, he's fine. However within 5 minutes of meeting each other, Luffy and Ace convinced him to be a pirate. And now he wants to be Pirate King."

Garp quickly hung up after relaying the information to Sengoku, hoping he could convince Sora to be a Marine.
