Infinite Adventure 31 Chapter 29 - Their Hopes

The same day Katakuri left from Water 7 headed towards Big Berry Island. Big Mom had sent him to acquire the food they would get from Big Berry every year. Normally a trip like this would take longer, but he came on his faster personal s.h.i.+p. After seeing that both Fire King Ace and Dark King Sabo had a personal s.h.i.+p aside from their actual s.h.i.+p for faster traveling, he had decided to get one too.

The reason he had decided to take his personal s.h.i.+p even though it wouldn't be able to carry the yearly tribute was due to Sora. Katakuri was hoping he could find him during his journey and begin to make some connections with him. He thought that Sora most likely had similar strength to him already and in the future would be at least as strong as the Four Emperors. Due to his youth, Katakuri judged him as an anomaly like Ace and Sabo. If the Big Mom Pirates could add him to their ranks or at least ally with him they would be able to compete with Ace and Sabo!

Originally, Big Mom wanted to wait for Sora to reach the New World before she would try and marry one of her daughters to him. However, Katakuri and Smoothie thought it would be too late. Smoothie was also making her own preparations to meet Sora or deal with him. Katakuri felt he had been lucky he was sent out to Paradise to retrieve a tribute. A lot of his sibling might have attempted to fight Sora if they met him. Now, he felt he was truly unlucky since he had yet to meet Sora. He had no hopes to see Sora at Big Berry either, it was pretty isolated from all the normal routes on the Grand Line. The only normal way to arrive at Big Berry was for the Log Pose to point to it from Water 7. The only other way he could think of was through an Eternal Log Pose and there was no way a new group of pirates would know of Big Berry, much less have an Eternal Log Pose for it.

Hopefully, he would meet Sora on his way back. If he didn't he could only hope the first of his sibling to meet him wasn't stupid enough to make an enemy of him. Katakuri knew that someone with at least similar strength to himself would be capable of causing big losses to the Big Mom Pirates if angered. He would rather not have to fight him. He thought that at least a few of his sisters showed interest in him, even smoothie. Katakuri had to admit, Voi D. Sora was indeed a handsome man. Moreover, he was strong. If all went well, Katakuri could see a bright future for the Big Mom Pirates.

Luffy was currently on his was to Alabasta. There were a few new people on his s.h.i.+p. These were his s.h.i.+p doctor, Tony-Tony Chopper, the princess of Alabasta, Vivi, and her guard, Igram.

Luffy: "Ah! Vivi! You should marry my brother!!"

Chopper, Vivi, Usopp, Sanji, Igram: "WHAT?!"

Zoro: "What he means is that his brother told us to tell beautiful girls we came across to marry him since he won't meet them on his journey. He's trying to have the biggest harem possible."

Chopper: "Luffy has a brother?"

Usopp: "Yeah, and his brothers a super scary pirate with a bounty of 273 million berries!!"

Chopper: "WHAT?! Save me!"

Igram: "Princess Vivi will not marry a pirate. Much less such a well known pirate! Do you know how troublesome that would be for the kingdom of Alabasta?!"

Vivi: "Igram, calm down. Luffy, who is your brother?"

Zoro grinned at Vivi's question while Luffy walked into his cabin. He came out a moment later holding Soras wanted poster. "This is my brother, Voi D. Sora!"

Igram: "WHAT?! VOI D. SORA?! THE PIRATE WHO MADE HIS NAME KNOWN BY FIGHTING A MARINE ADMIRAL?!"

Luffy: "Yeah!"

Luffy then proceeded to explain to Vivi how great it would be for her to be Soras woman. This was something Sora told him to do. He would also introduce her to Soras world later. He had yet to introduce Chopper to it, too so it was perfect. He just thought it was lucky he remembered to do this or Sora would hunt him down to zap him. He needed to find a rubber island to beat him. Luffy hoped he could find it soon. He wanted to be a cool animal that would make everyone amazed! He couldn't wait!

Zoro was also glad Luffy remembered. He forgot too! And he knew Sora was the strongest among the four brothers so he would rather not have to worry about an angry Sora. He had no way of hitting Sora at all! Luffy would probably be able to fight back if he evolved like him, but what would Zoro do? He didn't plan to have a strange evolution like them! Sora had told everyone mastering one law then adding others would be best, so Zoro planned to reach perfection in his Sword Law before he added other laws to it. The evolution was cool, but it wouldn't help him much. What he wanted was one of those dojutsus. Sora had said that he would grant everyone the dojutsu of their captain or any of the ones he knew of when they left this world. Zoro looked forward to this more than anything. Luffy's dojutsu was incredible. The first form had allowed he to see the weaknesses of and pressure points of enemies. This was great for someone who used punches or kicks to defeat their enemy.

Zoro had faith that Sora knew of one that could help a swordsman like him. If he didn't have anything specific maybe he could use the gingan. From what Sora said, dojutsus also attuned themselves to their user, especially theirs since they were newly made for them. This was something he knew from something called the 'Sharingan.' Maybe as his own gingan evolved it could become better for swordsmen. Thinking about this, Zoro looked at Vivi.

Zoro: "Vivi, Chopper, we have to show you something..."
