At the same time, Vicar got annoyed by her behavior and shouted towards Fennelis with fuming rage.
"You are just a filthy beast. How you dare to in front of me like that?"
"You are the one who started it, pig." Fennelis also became mad when she heard Vicar's insulting words and retorted with a sharp look. When Vicar the word pig, his face grew red and instantly ordered.

"Capture her!"
Fennelis sky blue like eyes scanned all those warriors' strength and surprised a little inside.
'Everyone is third tier warriors!' If it were before, she would be no match against these peoples, but after her bloodline strength got improved, her strength also increased to an unimaginable level. Moreover, now she could control ice elements without any problem.
She didn't even evade the sword attack coming towards her heart. Instead, she just touched that sword tip with her finger at fast speed.
Creak!
As both her finger and the sword point collided, an incredible thing happened.
First, that guard who attacked her felt his arm went cold and couldn't feel the sensation. Subconsciously he loosened that grip and backed away with a startled expression.
Crack!
As that sword fell, it broke into multiple pieces that caused others' expression to froze.
Soon all s.h.i.+fted their eyes towards that guard's hand, and everyone's pupil constricted in horror. You could see that the guard's right wrist became already frozen into ice.
"Eh? W-What did you do to my hand?!" That guard stuttered in panic.
"Hmm, I still lack in control of the output of the ice elemental." With an understanding nod, Fennelis sighed and s.h.i.+fted her gaze towards other guards. You could see everyone's face, even including Vicar's face, already went death pale.
'H-How could a normal beast have that much power?'
Vicar had never thought a beast kin women would be this much strong and could easily injure a third-tier warrior like nothing. A chill went down to his spines as he took a step back in fear!
"Vicar, give them a permit to cross the border." The middle-aged lady Elianor who still sat on her seat, unfazed by the coldness around the room and suddenly started talking.
"But Lady Elianor She-" As Vicar was about to refute, she interrupted him with sharp words.
"Do it now. If you are expecting a fight, then do it yourself. Don't involve me in this." As he heard those words, his expression turned worse. He tried to ask help from the other five warriors, but they simply stood there, lowering their heads. Without any other choice, he quickly took out two slips that had a kingdom's seal on it and gave it to Fennelis.
"Hmm, if you gave me that earlier, that guy wouldn't be losing his hand now, isn't it?" She gave him one last glare and took those two slips then put it inside her five cubic meters spatial ring. It was a ring which she took it from one of the Holy knights they encountered before. Fennelis quickly grabbed Umi's right hand and walking towards out.
"Wait, do you have a minute?" Elianor almond pink eyes s.h.i.+fted towards Fennelis and asked in a low voice.
"Is there anything else?" Fennelis halted her movement and turned back while furrowing her eyebrows.
"No, If you are okay with it, can you do me a little help?" Elianor stood up from her seat and signaled others to get out of the room.
"Vicar, you are staying here." Elianor stopped Vicar from walking out and gave him a sharp look.
"Y-Yes, my lady." Vicar instantly halted his footsteps and stuttered in reply.
Fennelis cast a suspicious glance at both of them and starting to feel more puzzled.
"What do you want me to do? What benefit do I get from this?" Although she would only take missions from adventurer's guild, this time, she thought of listening about the details. If it involves more dangers, she would definitely decline without any thought.
'I don't want to put Umi's life in danger anymore.'
"Thank you for listening. Well, we are in short of a hand to send a letter to one of our a.s.sociates in the Keris kingdom. If you are willing, can you give this letter to Silverland's adventurer's guild? It will be really helpful." Fennelis frowned deeply at those words from Elianor. If it was just sending a letter, they why would she specifically ask her instead of hundreds of peoples outside who were going to the Keris kingdom? Doubt appeared in her heart.
"Madam, what are you plotting? If it is just a letter, then you can give it to other adventurers, right?"
"No, due to the civil war, I don't think they will be facing attacks from bandits and thieves. With their strength, I'm not sure who is going to die or live." Her words made her doubts cleared a little, and Fennelis nodded.
"How many white golds are you willing to pay for this mission?" She went straight to the point.
Elianor quickly tapped her silver ring and instantly took out a pouch, and a letter from her spatial ring then gave it to her.
"There are 20 white gold coins in this pouch. Once you give this letter to the recipient, then he will give you the remaining amount." Elianor paused for a second and made another request.
"Also, if you are okay with it, can you bring a person along with you?" Fennelis squinted her eyes as her azure eyes fell on Vicar. Elianor noticed her gaze and simply shook her head as she explained.
"Not him. That person is staying in the next room. Due to some reason, she is on a journey to the Keris kingdom capital. Although her strength is enough to protect herself, I will feel uneasy about sending her alone." Elianor finished her talk and waited for Fennelis's answer.
Meanwhile, Fennelis also deeply troubled inside and thought of what to do. At first, she thought of refusing this request, but soon she changed her mind as her sights fell on Umi.
'It's better to have another companion with us than traveling by ourselves.' After a short silence, Fennelis finally nodded in agreement.
"Ha! Thank the lord of light. I thought you would reject this request. Vicar, go and call my younger sister Roysia."
Vicar ran out of the room with his big body and soon returned back with a knight lady whose age around 40 years old. Roysia soon walked inside while tying her pink wavy hairs. She had average height and almost similar looks like Elianor.
Both of them have the same hawk nose, ordinary eyebrows, and thin lips. Their only differences were their age, eyes, and hair color. Roysia was a little younger than Elianor and pink hair, amber eyes instead of red hair, and pink eyes.
"Elia, Why did you call me? Who are these two?" Roysia asked with annoying expression and glanced at Fennelis and Umi. Soon, her hooded amber eyes widened in surprise as she noticed Umi's fluffy ears.
"Fox kin! So cute. What is your name, child?" She instantly squatted down and tried to pick her up, but Elianor grabbed her.
"You are scaring that child Roysia. Listen, now you are going to accompanying these two to the Keris kingdom got it?"
"Hm? Are you not coming with me?" Roysia asked with a stunned expression.
"I have another important work to do. Both will accompany you to Silverland. Then you are on your own." Elianor said with her high pitched voice and sighed heavily.
"Do you really think I will get a clue about that Red python from Black watchers?" Roysia asked with a frown.
"If you want your t.i.tle and position back, then they are the ones who could help you with this," Elianor responded while walking back to her seat.
"Okay, I will go and pack my belongings." Roysia nodded her head and quickly walked out of the room.
Within a few minutes, She returned along with her backpack and joined along with Fennelis and Umi.
"Okay, Elia, I'm will be back in a month or two, so take care." She shouted towards Elianor, who already started to write inside the check-in room and then moved out of that building along with Fennelis and Umi. Soon the trio reached the entrance of that five-meter tall wall that stood northern side of that fortress. You could also see a small metal gate which was already opened and two guards were watching from the sides.
After Fennelis and Roysia gave them the sealed slips, one of the guards nodded towards them with approval. Soon, the trio went ahead and walked out of the other side of the large wall.
On the other side, the soldiers from Keris kingdom did another check. But unlike the last time, the trio didn't face any obstacles and walked out of a small check post. Soon they saw a vast dense forest in front of them and was pleasantly surprised.
"Be careful when going through in this Birch forest. We received many reports of monsters started to appear along the pathways." A guard suddenly noticed only three women were entering the forest and warned them.
"Thank you for your information, sir. We will be careful during the journey." Fennelis glanced backward and gave him a nod then s.h.i.+fted her gaze towards the thin-leaved deciduous trees that covered the forest. She also noticed two types of birch trees mixed in this forest, and finally, her sight landed on a narrow mud path that entered inside this forest.
"Let's go. So what's your name again?" Roysia's words brought her back from the daze.
"Ah! Sorry for my late introductions, Lady. I'm Fennelis, and this is my daughter Umi." Roysia nodded at both of them and walked forward to that mud road. In front of them, they noticed there were a few carts and adventures that started moving towards the north.
"Have you been to this Keris kingdom before?" Fennelis asked while glancing at the surroundings.
"Nah! It is the first time for me, and from the looks, I can guess you are also the same, right?" Fennelis surprised at Roysia's guess and nodded.
"Why are you here in the southern Easica? I never heard of beast kin roaming around here?" Asked Roysia in puzzlement. At first, Fennelis thought of hiding her goal but soon chose to tell her story.
"We came here to search for my husband. I got a clue that he may be near to the area name Taiga sloth woods. So what about you, Lady?"
"Just call me Roysia. I'm here going to search for a certain organization." Roysia replied and soon noticed they didn't carry any belongings, and finally, her sight landed on Fennelis finger.
"Wow, you have a spatial ring! Can you also store my things inside?" Fennelis nodded her head and quickly stored that backpack inside her spatial ring then asked.
"You mean that Red python?" Fennelis thought of the name they discussed before and became curious.
"Yeah, they caused chaos inside the royal castle. I got my knight t.i.tle revoked due to their action." Roysia said while biting her lips in frustration.
"Sorry. So, do you have any way to find about that organization? I heard that the organization is one of the famous slave organizations around here." Fennelis said while looking up at the sky to guess the time. Soon, she noticed the sun hanging above them and thought almost noon.
"Yeah, now the organization members were all escaped somewhere. We have only one clue to find about them." Roysia said and soon took out a painting scroll from her waist then showed it to Fennelis. In that scroll, Fennelis saw a wavy black haired girl with upturned black eyes. She had a celestial nose, extrlong eyebrows, tan skin, and a pear-shaped face.
"Who is she?" Fennelis asked curiously.
"Hm? You don't know? She is the one who started all the chaos. Royal Knights already put her on the wanted list in both church list and adventurer's list." Roysia said with a grim expression. Well, she hadn't expected her knight post would be revoked because of the vice captain's mistake. Meanwhile, Fennelis also startled and deeply engraved that girl's picture in her mind.
"Let's go! We don't know how many days it will take to cross this forest. I heard this is one of the largest forests in the surrounding kingdoms." Fennelis said while Roysia started nodding her head in approval. Soon, the trio walked faster into that forest while vigilantly scanning the surroundings.
On their journey in the forest, the group also asked other adventurers and got some useful information. They told them It would take two days to cross this Birch forest and even invited them to join them. But Fennelis refused their kindness, and the trio simply went on their own. As for Umi, she quietly followed her mother and only spoke if anything was needed.
Soon, the group saw the sun was descending while painting the sky with dim orange light. Following that, they build a campfire near to that trodden path. During night time, some monsters like goblins started to attack them, but Fennelis or Roysia, who was in the watch, dealt with them efficiently. Unlike the other adventurers' party or merchants' carts who were moving at a rapid pace towards the north, the trio walked with no worries.
On the way, three merchants and their guards also joined them when they noticed their strength during one goblin raid. Well, they basically tagged along with them due to their lack of strength. If they face these goblins alone, they knew some of their guards would lose their lives. So for those merchants, it's better to stay with strong people and might save their lives. Fennelis or Roysia also didn't say anything and even helped them a few times when they were in a pinch.
By the end of the third day evening, the trio and the other three merchant groups finally got out of that forest and saw a well-fortified town. It located at least two kilometers away from the forest end, and surroundings appeared too quiet.
"Oh! Finally, we arrived at the Roguedale town with fewer casualties this time." One of the merchants shouted in excitement and started moving towards that town.
They were the only group who walked out of that muddy road, and soon, a small sigh came out of Umi's mouth. Fennelis also saw other merchants carts also started moving towards Roguedale town hastily without even minding them and shakes her head. Meanwhile, Umi also started drooling while gazing at the new town and thought of what sweets might be there inside her mind.
"Mama, I want to eat apple candy." Umi rubbed her small belly and soon stared at her mother with puppy eyes.
"Well, then let's go to Roguedale town then," Roysia said while started walking.
With a nod, Fennelis also started moving towards that fortified town while grabbing Umi's hand. But soon, her expression stiffened up as she saw the entrance gate.
"What is that?" Her sky blue eyes squinted sharper, and soon, Roysia also halted her movement and creased her eyebrows.
"Soldiers? What are they doing in the southern gate?" Roysia frowned.
At the same time, those three merchants carts reached near to that entrance gate. But after a few seconds, all the three merchant carts were surrounded by a total of fifty soldiers, and in seconds, soldiers started attacking those guards.
Within a few minutes, they arrested all of them and completely captured those three carriages.
Meanwhile, Fennelis and Roysia went dumbfounded as they s.h.i.+fted their gaze towards that direction.
"Oh s.h.i.+t! They noticed us!" Roysia muttered out loud in shock and took a step back. She didn't expect this type of welcome from the Keris kingdom's soldiers and gripped her scabbed tighter.
