'Don't fret about this. Whether that girl survives from that evil child or dies, it's all up to that girl's decision.' Azolla's warm voice made those thoughts to disappear, and soon Abium nodded.
'It would be great if she didn't release that girl.' Abium said inwardly and soon started to walk out of that Inn
After Abium bid his farewell to that Inn lady, he directly walked towards the northern gate.
"Greetings, My lord!" Hook, who stood watching the gate, greeted him with a polite smile. Rylan also stood up and bowed towards Abium while remembering the previous day's rules.
'it's not a bad thing to stay here as a citizen of Peral kingdom.' Rylan thought to himself. Both had been working as gatekeepers for almost ten years and hadn't gone out like other pirates. So, after Abium took control over the pirate town, both decided to stay here and continue their job.
"Do you know where I can find wild goats?" Abium's orotund voice made Rylan to woke up from his deep thoughts, and soon he responded with a stiff tone.
"M-My lord, there is a herd resides in the northern frozen mountain range area. I think it will take five hours to go there."
"Good, then I will be on my way then." With a nod, Abium was about to go but noticed Rylan stood to be hesitating.
"What is it? Speak to your mind." Abium said while turned towards Rylan.
"My lord, We both are familiar with these places. If it is okay for you, we can catch those goats for you," Rylan said with a nervous tone.
Abium smiled and said with an approving nod. "Okay, So, can you catch twelve goats before nightfall?"
"Yes, my lord," Rylan said, and soon Hook followed after him.
Phew!
Abium breathed out a sigh of relief and returned back to the manor. After he arrived, he sat on his oak wooden chair in the main hall and asked curiously.
"Do I have to create any ritualistic circles?" He had heard a lot about those circles from priests and high priests during the beginning of the chaos era. But the problem was, he heard a single misspelling could cost one's life sometimes.
'Yes, kid, first gets the list of materials I'm about to give you, then we will start performing the ritual.' Abium's head started to ached when he heard about the list of materials and sighed heavily.
'Tell those materials, and I will try to arrange quickly.' Abium nodded his head and asked.
'Hmm, 12 high tier magic stones, twelve-night sunflowers, twelve drops a thief's blood, 12 purple poison herbs, a bottle of clary sage oil, 13 candles, Agarwood, and blood of twelve different goats.' As Azolla's finished her sentence, Abium's expression froze.
'What's with that twelve drops of Thief's blood? From whom I should ask?' Abium was startled.
'Just ask that Lily girl.' Azolla's answer made Abium stumble a bit.
'No! I will try getting that from other pirates. After all, they are also thieves, right?' Abium said.
He once again walked out from that building and asked Claude who seems to be giving out some orders to freed slaves.
"Uncle, can you able to arrange these materials before this weekend. I think you can able to get them mostly in Duke Adhemar's territory. I'm planning to do some ritual magic."
"Hm? Yeah, as long as those materials are in near to Duke's territory, I can get it for you." Claude s.h.i.+fted his gaze towards Abium then said with a nod and quickly picked up the scroll from Abium's hand. Soon, he knitted his eyebrows as he noticed Thief's blood, the blood of twelve goats on the list, and asked with a little forced smile.
"Kid, you aren't going to do any Blood sacrificial ritual, right?" Abium's eyes instantly widened in shock.
'How did he know I'm going to perform a sacrificial ritual?' Soon, he calmed himself down and answered with a chuckle.
"Well, I'm going to do blood sacrificial ritual, but its not evil sacrificial ritual uncle."
Phew!
Claude breathed out a sigh of relief and nodded in understanding. Claude had heard of those animal blood sacrificial rituals, and some neutral divine beings prefer these types of blood sacrificial rituals and quickly respond to the ritual performer.
"How did you found out I'm going to perform a sacrificial ritual, uncle?" Abium knew these types of sacrificial rituals were very rare even during the Chaos era and became curious about how Claude found out with a simple glance at those materials.
"Well, in the last two years, I personally collected these similar types of materials for Lord Viscount Gauvain and have seen blood sacrificial ritual from afar." Claude soon turned his expression serious and spoke in a solemn tone.
"You mean, Viscount already did blood sacrificial rituals like this?" Abium asked while showing a surprised expression on his face.
"Yes, and they all are human blood sacrifices. Viscount mostly use slaves and criminals for sacrifices, so no one really cared about that. But I saw that necromancer you had killed him earlier many times with Lord Viscount during those rituals." With a grave tone, Claude spoke.
'Are these orders of the dead members also a cult organization?' A doubt appeared inside his mind and asked Claude.
"Uncle, do you remember a word or two when they are doing those sacrificial rituals?"
"No. I just watched that ritual from very afar through a window. But I had heard that necromancer saying 'valley of the dead' 'Nurotl' in some unknown language. I memorized those two words because I find it very cool and thought of asking some others." Claude said with a serious expression on his face.
'Nether language! It is the first time I'm hearing some peoples speak the Nether language in the Easica continent. No! Maybe I only able to understand after learning that language in that undead plane.' Abium nodded in enlightenment and quickly responded.
"Uncle, If I found out more about those words, I will inform you."
Claude just waved his hand and quickly said.
"Nah! I don't care much about those words. Okay, I will go and collect these materials. I will also ask your friends to help."
Soon, Claude walked away along with other slaves from there, leaving Abium alone at the entrance. He quickly returned to the building once again and waited for Claude to come back with those materials.
'Okay, kid, before that Claude returns with those materials, I will tell you how to do this ritual magic. First, take that elvish book from your spatial ring and place it at the center of the hall.' Azolla said in a formal tone.
'Which book?' Abium knitted his eyebrows.
'It's the unique book you took it from the Star tower library.' Azolla said.
'Oh! I almost forgot about that book.'
Abium eyes widened, and he quickly took out that ancient book that had a deep green cover with multiple runes inscribed on the front. Although it didn't have any lock, that ancient book appears to be mysteriously protected by something.
He also once again tried to open it but soon noticed still it didn't even budge an inch like last time.
'It won't work like that. First, put that book and G.o.ddess's sculpture at the table in the center.' Azolla said with a chuckle.
Without any refusal, Abium did what she had told him and started to inscribe a ritual magic circle in the runic language around that table. He couldn't even be able to understand most of those characters, but with Azolla's help, he started to inscribe correctly. From the understanding of those words, he guessed a few words like 'summon' 'plane law' 'night' etc. and sighed.
'I need to read those advance runic language and decipher those words myself when I have some free time.' He had written a total of 20 runic letters around that ritual circle and still saw countless letters were remaining. From time to time, he would stop inscribing that ritual circle and take some rest then continued. Hours went by, and following that one day, two days, three, four, and it went on. But Abium didn't stop that work and finally noticed he almost completed that ritual and smiled with an exhausted expression on his face.
It took him almost six days to completely inscribe those letters and felt his spirit being drained completely once again.
Phew!
After inscribing the last letter, Abium threw that chalk away and breathed out a heavy sigh. Soon, he noticed Claude stood at the entrance and watching him and the ritual circle curiously.
"Did you get all those materials, Uncle?" Abium asked while yawning.
Claude quickly snapped out from the daze and spoke while taking out the materials with some anxiety.
"Yeah, I got all those materials from the underground market and already returned yesterday."
Abium nodded with a pleasant smile and took those materials from Claude.
Claude watched Abium walking back to that mysterious altar and asked. "So, do you need any help during that ritual. I saw a dozen of wild goats tied outside."
"Yeah, uncle. Bring those Goats along with your squad members. We will start this ritual in a few minutes." Abium said then s.h.i.+fted his gaze towards that ritual circle. Meanwhile, Claude walked outside and started gathering his team members.
Abium quickly moved near to that ritual circle and placed those candles, magic stones, around the twelve corners of that circle.
Baa! Baa!…
Soon, he was starting to hear goats' bleating sounds from the entrance. With a pleasant smile, Abium s.h.i.+fted his gaze and saw Helena and others were walking inside along with those tied up wild goats.
"What do we have to do?" Helena, who stood behind Claude asked with a puzzled tone.
"Bring them inside," Abium said and s.h.i.+fted his gaze towards others then continued. "I need a total of twelve peoples to help me finish this ritual."
"Okay." With a nod, Helena, Claude, and other Claude's team members moved inside with curious expression on their faces. Next, Abium told them to tie all those goats near to those separate twelve candles, which he already lit around that ritual circle and gave night sunflowers, purple poison herbs, twelve small red vials which contain some thief's blood drops, and Clary sage oil to them separately. All of them cast a puzzled glance, and Abium started to explain.
"Whenever I stop reciting the mysterious unknown chant, you have to put those materials one by one into that glowing candles near to your feet." Abium stopped for a second and said. "When I am finis.h.i.+ng my first phrase, you have to put night sunflower into that candle fire, during the end of those next phrases, purple poison, blood vial, and Clary sage oil vial. Then all you have to do is wait for me to finish that chant and behead those goats."
Everyone started to nod their heads, and once again, Abium told them not to mess up the order. Then he slowly walked inside that ritual circle and stood in front of the altar then started incantation in a runic language like Azolla told him.
"O mighty G.o.ddess, bless me with your kindness,
You are the primary force of the light,
Enlighten me with the power of your Night,
You are the ruler of darkness,
Guide me with the power of your deception,
You are the power deceiver of the luck.
Accept my offerings and bestow me the power,
…
You are the judge of equality,
Hear my request."
Once Abium finished the long incantation, he raised his signal to all the other twelve members.
Shw.a.n.g!
All of them instantly unsheathed their swords and swung it towards all those goats necks.
Slas.h.!.+ Slas.h.!.+…
Scarlet blood spilled from those heads and the bodies and completely starting to dye the white ritual magic circle.
Buzz!
Soon, Abium saw all those goats starting to twitch, and rapidly their spirits and blood absorbed into that runic circles.
"Move away from the candles quickly," Abium ordered, and soon, all of them started to move away from those candles.
"Uncle Claude, You all can go back now. Don't come inside unless I ask you to come." Abium said with a serious tone and s.h.i.+fted his gaze towards the altar. With a solemn nod, Claude and others instantly left the hall, leaving Abium alone.
Soon, Abium noticed all those twelve magic stones started to crept forward towards the center. He saw those magic stones which almost look like abyssal crystals as they got soaked in those scarlet blood. Abium quickly walked away from that ritual circle and observed with little nervousness.
'Is this okay to do these types of ritual magic?' He started to doubt this method.
'You are too late to say this now, kid.' Azolla chuckled.
Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!
Next second, the whole hall started to vibrate, and soon those magic crystals beginning to disappear.
Bzzzzz!
A fierce spatial-elemental fluctuation followed!
He could hear the bleating cries of goats and guessed those must be souls. His palm starting to become sweaty and started to become anxious inside.

Spark!
Red light starting to emit from that center of that elven book, and soon, the whole ritual magic circle was completely shone in scarlet color.
'Azolla! Why do I feel like something is wrong with this ritual?' Abium said with a deep frown and took a two-step back.
'Hmm? You actually misp.r.o.nounce two words when chanting, But I think it's not a problem.' Abium was stupefied when he heard Azolla's words.
Soon, the vibration became fiercer, and all those scarlet blood formed into a blob at the center as it started to float. At the same time, Abium saw the surroundings began to distort and soon found himself in the empty void surrounded by complete darkness. Although that altar, beheaded goats, ritual circles are still placed in front of him, Abium knew he was not inside that two-storied house.
"What do you want to exchange, mortal?" Suddenly a pleasant female voice came from that blob and asked in a singsong tone.
Without wasting any time, Abium took out that madness divine shard from his spatial ring and placed it in his hand.
"Hmm, you managed to get your hands on Madness divine shard? That's surprising!" A booming female voice resounded inside that empty void and followed by a chuckle. Soon that divine shard flew from Abium's hand and slowly landed on that scarlet blob.
Then next instant, a small white fragment flew towards him, and soon it absorbed directly into his body.
As that higher existence noticed his puzzled expression, another chuckle came along with a reply. "It's filled with divine power. Ask your artificial spirit for more details."
Abium nervously nodded.
The next instant, that blob soon disappeared from the place along with the dead goats. Abium stood there dumbfounded for a few seconds and soon saw he found himself returned to the hall.
Quickly he concentrated his attention on that white fragment, which was filled with divine power and checked.
'It's floating inside that empty void.' Abium said to Azolla with a pleasant smile.
I should inform Helena and others about the situation. He muttered inwardly and quickly moved outside.
After he told Claude and others that everything was okay, he went to the bedroom on the second floor and soon fell into a deep sleep.
