Aliza felt a sharp pain from her left legs due to one of those sharp teeth penetrated her foot. Scarlet blood started to dye the surrounding seawater, which also beginning to attract other marine carnivorous fishes.
d.a.m.n! I must live. She gritted her teeth and suddenly thought of casting the spell at that shark.
Calm down! Even at that moment, her mind started to act confidently and cast that spell.
Buzz!
The surrounding seawater vibrated a little, and soon a change appeared around.
In a blink, she felt some connection formed between herself and that shark.
Go to the surface. Aliza ordered inside her mind without any delay.
Quickly, that shark went towards surface water while opening its wide mouth. Aliza knew somehow she could talk with this shark and relieved.
Although she wouldn't be able to enslave any other being, for the time being, this was enough for her to survive this predicament.
Splas.h.!.+ Huff! Huff! Cough!
Once the shark moved towards the surface while opening its mouth upward, Aliza coughed up all those salt waters and started breathing heavily.
Next, she clenched her fist and tried to remove her leg from that shark mouth that almost painted in red.
ARHHH!
"d.a.m.n! It hurts!" She squeezed her eyes shut, and with bravery, she finally removed her foot from one of that sharp's teeth. But the next instant, as she opened her eyes, her whole body stiffened up.
Splas.h.!.+
She saw nearly one meter long fish with large jaws flew from the water and moving near to her neck.
F*ck! She quickly jumped down from that shark's mouth and evaded that attack. But she soon saw other fishes with sharp teeth starting to move towards her at fast speed.
"SAVE ME!" Aliza screamed in a shaky tone.
Splas.h.!.+
Suddenly, that twelve-meter multiple fin shark went underwater and starting to inflate its body with more water.
Next instant, all the small-sized fishes and other sharks were scared away like they had met their predators.
Aliza was little dumbfounded by this and soon started swimming towards the rowboat now, which was floating upside down.
Aliza moved near then flipped that boat with the help of that shark and slowly climbed into that boat.
Aliza bit her lips and first took out a rope from her spatial ring and tied it tightly with one of that shark's fins on the sides. Then she used a leather cloth to cover that small hole In that boat and s.h.i.+fted her attention to the wound on her leg.
I have to stop the bleeding; otherwise, these fishes will rip me into shreds.' She thought inwardly.
Next, she took out clothes and medicinal herbs from the ring and started applying those medicine to that wounded area. Then, she tore a cloth and tied that on to the injured area.
Pant!
Soon, her vision s.h.i.+fted to the area where those two large s.h.i.+ps located before and noticed those s.h.i.+ps almost disappeared from her sights.
I don't think they will come after me and kill me. Aliza's pitch-black eyes glared at that direction and quickly checked where that port direction.
Wait a minute! Which direction is that port town? Her eyes widened then soon; her expression went white.
I don't know how to go back to the port! She thought of probing that shark's mind using that mysterious connection between them, but still, she got no answers. All she found out in that shark's memories were killing and eating.
Ha! I think I have to wait for any s.h.i.+ps that would come in this direction. But the problem was Aliza noticed the weather started to change up in the sky and dark clouds beginning to gather.
A storm is coming! She cursed at her rotten luck and signaled that Shark to move in a random direction. As the clouds started to block the sun, she couldn't even be able to guess which was the right direction to go.
I don't want to die alone in the sea. Sea waves started to become very fiercer and almost drowned that boat multiple times into the sea along with her. But that slave Sanguis shark saved her life and protected her from many carnivorous fishes. It was only an hour or two, but she started to notice the storm wouldn't be able to die so soon.
"Hey buddy, if not for your help, maybe I might really have died already." Tears flow out from her eyes without knowing her, and she grabbed that shark as it was her only companion and hold her breath for the next a.s.sault from the waves. But these waves didn't make her mind break; instead, she resolved herself to live this hard trail.
…
In the pirate town.
It was almost five-thirty in the evening d the sun was going down. Rylan stood outside the gate, and suddenly his eyes caught some movements from the western side of the woods.
"Hook, did you see that?" Rylan instantly unsheathed his broadsword and signaled Hook to get ready.
"Hm? What is it?" Hook, who now lazily stood while daydreaming, opened his eyes and asked in an annoyance.
Crack!
"Are they goblins? Why more monsters are coming near to the town these days?" Hook furrowed his eyebrows and got prepared for any unexpected attacks.
Crack! Rustle! Whip!
"Shh! Did you hear that? It's not goblins! Get ready to ring the warning bell." Rylan thought something was amiss and urged Hook. But before Hook could walk a few steps towards the bell, a buzzing sound came from inside the woods.
Swoos.h.!.+
Like a streak of lighting, a metal arrow flew from within those trees and pinned Hook's shoulder on that wooden gate.
Arghhh!
"Enemy!"
Rylan shouted in horror and soon noticed a total of more than fifty figures came out from those dense woods.
Who are they? Rylan immediately started to rack his brain and quickly guessed these guests must be the Baron Which his captain Brink was talked about.
But how did they knew our precise town location? While he was pondering, his eyes quickly saw a white bone with dark knight armor walked behind those peoples.
f.u.c.k! When did the necromancer start working with this baron? A chill went up to his spines.
As he was about to shout and warn others, the dead creeper vines from the nearby bushes crept towards his legs and grabbed him from every side. The next second, one of those vines advanced towards his body at a rapid speed and tightened his neck like a snake.
"Done! Shall I kill them?" Helena walked out from the woods and stood near to Abium, who now stood a few feet away from Rylan.
"Nah! Tie both of them. Once we took control of this town, we will deal with these guys."
Abium spoke while walked forward without turn back. Helena made a snap, then small needles came out from the stems of those vines and caused Rylan and Hook to lose consciousness.
The next instant, white foam started to come out from their mouth as both began to fall on the ground while wholly shackled by those veins.
At the same time, Abium quickly pushed that three-meter tall wooden gate and walked inside.
"Hm? is this the pirate town? But why do I feel there are only a few pirates roaming?" Helena asked in a silvery tone while narrowed her azure eyes. Liza and Sara, who were following after her, also started to nod their heads.
"Sis, Look! Look! They are selling sweets!" Camilla stood on Helena's shoulder while shouted excitedly. At the same time, multiple shopkeepers, slaves, pirates s.h.i.+fted their gaze towards their direction.
Swoos.h.!.+
But before anyone could say anything, Murius dashed forward and grabbed a pirate's neck who appeared to be already drained asked hurriedly.
"Do you know where those bandits who came here before are?" Murius gripped his neck even tighter and urged while emitting immense killing intent. Everyone inside that pirate town startled by the sudden intruders and started to take out their weapons.
"Mister Murius. Don't scare him." Abium shakes his head and said with a sigh. Murius soon calmed himself down while retracting his killing intent and released that lean pirate.
Cough! Cough!
"S-Sir, P-Please! Don't kill me. T-They are staying in the manor on the way to the port." That pirate's body trembled by the mere pressure came from Murius, and soon, he backed away.
"Good! Let's go, kid. I want to save that girl from those b.a.s.t.a.r.ds." Abium simply nodded his head as he followed him. Abium also got some information earlier from Murius about what had happened in the tower. Although everything was within his expectation, he didn't expect this necromancer would show mercy to those pirates.
But what made me little speechless was, Why did those bandits capture her? Abium sighed at Aliza's rotten luck and wondered what to do with both of them.
'Should I have to fight against this necromancer or let them free?' He pondered about this for several times and finally felt capturing these two future criminals was the best choice.
'Kid! Why are you always thinking of killing all the necromancers? Listen! They are also human same as you. It is because of their hards.h.i.+ps, and siding with death made their personality colder.' Azolla's continuous advice almost caused his head to ache, and he sighed heavily.
'Okay! I will listen to you this time.' Abium finally surrendered while he saw Helena moved towards him closer and whispered to his ears.
"what are we going to do with those pirates who are following us?"
Abium also observing their movements and coldly snorted. Although there were around fifty pirates, all of them were the second tier and below.
"Leave them for now. First, I want to see that moron who dared to kidnap a girl who was under a first-tier necromancer's protection." Abium felt pity for those bandits. Even in the past, he only managed to kill a very few first-tier necromancers.
Moreover, I succeeded in those missions because of the help of many other warriors.
Soon, the group crossed all the shops and arrived at the town square. Following that, they directly went ahead towards the port located on the east side.
There the street split into two mud roads — one connected directly to a large two-storied building at the end while another path directly leads to the sea. The large building was almost 10 meters height that stood a few hundred meters away on the north side. You could also see multiples of houses built using bricks on the way to that large manor.
Without even glancing at that port and sea, Murius stepped forth towards the north. In a few seconds, the group crossed those brick houses and arrived in front of the manor. There was no one stood there even to guard that building. As Abium walked near to the entrance, he could hear loud laughter and shouts from inside from time to time.
"Go!" Murius furiously ordered his three dark knights to charge into that entrance gate, which apparently made of metal. But that didn't stop those three dark knights.
Bam!
With a loud bam, all three of those skeletons kicked that two-meter tall door in unison.
Creak! Creak!
Soon, the nearby bricks started to break, and slowly that metal gate falls towards inside by those skeletons' kick.
BAM! Thud!
"Who dares?" Keith's rough voice came from inside the hall as he stood up with a fl.u.s.tered face. Near to him, all of those bandits were already started to stand up unsteadily. Rudie was the only one who stood with steady expression and beginning to back away with fear as he saw Murius's arrival.
I have to escape before anyone notices me. Rudie's brown eyes vigilantly scanned the surroundings and quickly moved towards the backside.
"Hm? Undead?" Keith's eyes squinted and soon returned to the entrance gate, where Murius stood with an icy stare.
"Keith! Where is Aliza?" A cold voice came from Murius's mouth that sent s.h.i.+ver down to everyone bandits spines who stood there with a dumbfounded face in the hall. In a second, their whole body shook, and slowly everyone's face started to become pale.

"H-How? L-Lord M-Murius?! H-How come you are still alive?" Keith suddenly felt panic inside. Because he completely believed those two infamous pirates already took care of Murius.
'Did she lied to me?' His palms began to sweaty and took two steps back. As he was about to order his men to attack Murius, his almond dark brown eyes suddenly became less focused. He could see there was darkness starting to block his vision and startled.
What is this? Why am I feeling dizzy? Keith soon s.h.i.+fted his gaze towards Rudie to ask what was happening, but his expression froze.
Where did he go? He glanced around his surroundings but couldn't found that fatty at all.
"WHERE IS SHE?!" Murius, who had already lost his temper, roared at Keith with bloodshot eyes and walked near to him. Keith felt like a scared cat in front of Murius and soon tried to search for his weapon.
s.h.i.+t! Did Rudie take my sword?
"R-RUDIE!" Keith roared as he saw his weapon was nowhere to be seen.
"Everyone! Get your weapons." Without any thought of hesitation, he chose to face reality and confront them head-on.
I knew the odds of success when facing these many peoples is very low. But at least I might have a chance to escape. In a blink, Keith picked up another bandit's broadsword with the sweaty hand and dashed forward towards the three dark knights that stood between Murius and him. But before he could walk two-step front, one of the dark knights moved forward and kicked him in the chest.
Meanwhile, the other two undead dark knights sprinted towards other bandits and attacked their vital spots mercilessly.
But suddenly something happened out of the ordinary, made everyone frown.
One by one, those bandits starting to become attack their own companions randomly and also coughed up blood.
Something is wrong! Abium frowned deeply. He could smell there was some odd odor in the air. Without waiting, he walked near to the ale bottle and sniffed it.
Hm? Crazy Squid's poison! Abium's eyes widened. These types of poisons would only be found in the deep sea and would even kill official tier mages within an hour. Even he used these poisons in the past to a.s.sa.s.sinate multiple peoples.
"N-NO!" Soon, Keith also gripped his neck and crouched down while vomiting.
"Now tell me where is Aliza?" Murius, on the other hand, couldn't keep his calm face and urged him.
"L-Lord! S-Sorry, we already send her along with those pirates." Keith wiped the blood on his face and spoke in nervousness.
"So, they took her!" Murius expression went white and slowly walked toward the wooden chair and sat with a miserable expression on his face.
Slowly, one of the lean bandits starting to fall on the ground, and his body became motionless after some twitch.
Thud! Thud! Thud!
Only by one, all those bandits started to fall on the ground leaving only Keith stood alone in the hall.
"Lord Murius! I now regret-" Before Keith could finish his words, Murius gave him a cold glance and snapped his finger.
The next instant, a ray of gray light came out from his hand and directly went towards Keith's head.
Bang!
Like a watermelon, his head exploded, leaving the only headless body behind.
Soon, Murius s.h.i.+fted his gaze towards all the other bodies and started to frown.
"Where is that fat guy?!" He spoke out loud, but no answer came back.
Did he escape right under my nose? His dark green eyes sharpened, and he released his spiritual power. But soon sighed helplessly and walked towards outside.
"Where are you planning to go?" Abium asked with a vigilant look.
"Don't worry! I don't have any plan to say here in your territory, Royal elf." Murius said coldly. "Also, I have a piece of advice for you. Don't partic.i.p.ate in the upcoming coronation ceremony or any grand n.o.bles gathering if you want to cherish your life."
As he finished his words, Murius walked out of the house, leaving others with a clueless expression.
Abium, on the other hand, sighed heavily and s.h.i.+fted his gaze towards the pirates who now stood outside.
