Suddenly, the multiple small runes circles on headless Bilet's right hand started to s.h.i.+ne. The next instant, the hand began to twitch a little, and soon, the whole body began to float a few inches up in the air.
Bzzz!
Following that, the white skull started to rose up, leaving a slight vibration to the surrounding air and moved towards the body then began to attach with that headless Bilet's body.
Within a minute, flesh began to appear and formed into a shape of a faceless face. There were no eyes, no nose, nor any mouth.
Once again, those runes on Bilet's right hand starting to move and finally appeared on that faceless face.
Buzz!
The next instant, a nether elemental fluctuation started to appear around that faceless body and slowly entered inside. Then, the warm ivory color face beginning to change into pale white! What's more frightening was, even Bilet's body skin started to turn into a pale white color. And that face began to change like a normal human with deep black color eyes, high bridge nose, and thin eyebrows. Following that, black colored hair started to grow on his head at an unimaginable speed and completely changed the previous Bilet's appearance. He now looked like a 20-year-old handsome young man with a muscular body.
Slowly a creepy smile appeared on that black-haired guy's face while he was revealing black lips. He blinked his eyes rapidly and noticed Watson's dead body laid near to his face and grinned widely.
"Kekeke, I have been waiting for so long to breathe this rich air. Hmm, This body owner's soul also entered the reincarnation cycle. I can use this body without any problem from now on." That figure's black lips were starting to go upward while he spoke in a grating voice. After that, that black-haired guy took out a small knife from the spatial ring in his right hand and stabbed right through Watson's heart. At the same time, he attached that Watson's head to his original body. Then, he took out many strange materials from his spatial ring and starting to st.i.tch the head with Watson's body.
"Hmm, now it's time for reattachment." That black-haired man spoke in the same grating voice and started to inscribe runes on the st.i.tched area using a golden pen. As that black-haired man was starting to write unknown letters in the empty air, gray color nether letters beginning to appear on the st.i.tched areas. It didn't take long for that guy to inscribe multiple nether letters on Watson's body completely.
"Now, its time for fake resurrection."
As he said that, he started to mutter a strange incantation in a nether language.
"Rise mortal soul from your painful death,
Rise mortal body from the h.e.l.lish land,
Walk with me to kill your enemy,
Walk with me to avenge your death,
Devour the souls of the killed ones,
Destroy the peace to spread the chaos,
…
Serve me for a millennium,
Then I will give back your life and freedom."
After a long time, Black-haired man finished with a lengthy incarnation and slowly dripped down a drop of his scarlet blood onto that Watson's forehead.
Spark!
Ughh!
A low groaning sound came out of Watson's mouth, followed by a yellow spark on his forehead, and slowly, he started to open his pitch-black eyes. There was no expression on his face and gradually s.h.i.+fted his gaze towards the black-haired man.
"Who are you?" A cold tone came out of Watson's mouth as he motionlessly stares at the black-haired guy.
"Quite a rude slave. Kneel down." Like hearing a command from a supreme ruler, Watson's body instantly knelt on the ground and bowed without even knowing him. Watson felt no control over his body and couldn't even move his body an inch. He felt his soul was inside some puppet and being controlled by something.
"I forbid you from talking without my permission." The black-haired man watched Watson's futile attempt to resist his command in amus.e.m.e.nt.
"Keke, Good toy. Now follow me." The black-haired man slowly s.h.i.+fted his gaze towards four lifeless knights body that laid two hundred meters away and started drooling.
"Food!" Clown faced man licked his black lips and walked closer towards those dead bodies.
"Haha, It will be enough for a week." He quickly knelt and started grabbing one of that knight's hand and started eating with a disgusting smile.
Munch. Munch!
Silently he began to eat that raw meat along with blood and devoured that whole body in a minute.
Burp!
"Store these other bodies for later." The black-haired guy ordered as he threw a spatial ring towards Watson. Watson covered his mouth with groaning sound as he watched that gruesome scene and caught that ring subconsciously.
This guy is not a human being! Watson felt fear towards that black-haired and sighed at his misfortune in his heart.
Now, I'm a slave. I must obey the master's words. Another thought came to his mind, and soon, he moved towards those lifeless bodies and stored it inside the ring.
"Keke, good. First, I should visit go and visit that old friend of mine."
The black-haired man wiped bloodstains on his white face and walked towards the western direction while Watson followed that guy with an unsteady walk.
…
A few hours before,
In the eastern sh.o.r.eline of Alastall woodlands, at the entrance of the three-layered magic tower.
The dawn light rose from the east devil sea that gave a mixture of orange and yellow colored light due to the haze.
You could also see a three meters brick wall encircled that magic tower and wholly protected it from any unexpected outside attacks. If someone wants to capture this magic tower, then first they have to break that only sizeable wooden gate on the western side. But the problem was, they wouldn't even have the time to go near to that because many beings who rose from the dead were guarding all the area up on the wall.
"Get your long-range weapons ready." Brink shouted while other pirates roared in unison. He knew that recklessly charging near towards that gate would only reduce their numbers.
Although it will cause more casualties, I have to believe in Nelson's words.
"Do you have any plan?" A rough voice came from behind as he saw a man wore a skull symbol hat and an eye patch on his left eye.
"Nelson, are you sure we can win this battle? I never battled against any mages nor necromancers."
"Don't be so stiff. If you thrust your sword towards that necromancer's head, he will also bleed and die. They are tougher to kill but not impossible." Nelson spoke with a chuckle while patting Brink's shoulder.
"Yeah Yeah, I heard that from you countless times. But have you ever heard from anyone saying that a warrior killed a necromancer? No, right? That's why I'm feeling unsettled." Brink said with a slight groan.
"Humph, then you shouldn't have become a pirate. I think you better change your profession, Brink." Nelson removed his hand from Brink's shoulder and gave a mocking laugh.
"Tsk, So annoying. All men get ready to attack." Brink quickly walked towards his crew members and ordered.
"Fire!"
Swoos.h.!.+ Swoos.h.!.+ Swoos.h.!.+
Multiple volleys of arrows flew from all those hundreds of pirates and directly pierced those bones, and some stabbed directly into those skulls.
Thud! Thud! Thud!
A few skeletons were quickly got injured by those arrows and silently fell down from that three-meter tall walls.
"See? Not much hard, right?" Nelson grinned while Brick sighed helplessly.
"Get ready those ladders and ropes!" Brick send out another order, and soon multiple pirates carried few ladders and ropes from the seash.o.r.e, which they seem already prepared earlier.
After a few rounds of attacks, most of the undead skeletons stood on the fort wall were already starting to fall. Brink beginning to notice some skeletons were killed mercilessly in an instant.
"See, I told you, right? At this rate, we will kill that necromancer quickly."
"Hmm, if we transported that battering ram from the town, it would be easier." Brick spoke out loud about what was inside his mind.
"Nah! It will take time. Besides, except those fools who went ahead and killed themselves, no one died, right? It's a good start." Nelson said while marched near towards the wooden gate. You could see some pirates already put the ladder on the wall and started climbing. The first one to jump to the other side was Gibson, while others were still climbing. Within a few seconds, something happened from inside.
CLANG!
Everyone startled by the sudden noise as they soon s.h.i.+fted their gaze towards the large wooden gate.
"C-Captain! No undead s-skeletons are guarding inside!" Soon, a familiar voice came from the other side of that wooden gate, and soon the gate opened.
Creeaaaak!
With a loud screech, that three-meter tall wooden gate made of Red Cedar opened from the inside. Slowly, Brink noticed Gibson with a pale face stood there waving towards them.
Then why his face looks so pale? Brink's sky blue eyes squinted sharper.
"Haha, let's go and capture this tower." But before he could say anything, Nelson advanced forward while other pirates followed him. A total of 250 pirates ran into that fort gate while only a few stood outside.
Like a flock of sheep, everyone dashed into that wooden gate. Brink also cast those unsettling feelings away from his heart and followed after them while giving a light pat on Gibson's shoulder.
"Gibson? Why are you staring blankly at the ground? Come on!" Lavada also noticed her brother's face and shouted towards him as she followed Brink.
As everyone stepped inside the fort blindly, the first one to notice something's off was Brink. He saw, except that tower stood at the center, there was nothing but an empty ground.
Soon everyone's expression went confused.
Is this the only strength of a necromancer? The pirates thought.
Well, everyone expected some high-level undead creatures would be guarding inside, which they heard in legends and started searching in antic.i.p.ation.
Thump! Thump!
Suddenly, Brink's heart thumped up like fierce fire explosions.
I have a bad feeling about this. Brink's instinct was telling him that something was wrong with this place and warning him to get away from here. But as he was about to shout, his light blue eyes caught a slight movement of the ground.
If you could observe clearly, you would notice the difference in the color of the sand. Like a rotten land, it dyed in a gray color that gave off anxiety feeling to him. Brink instantly understood the enemy had planned something for them!
"Nelson! Gibson! Everyone, Back away. Its a trap." He started to yell while grabbing Lavada's hand to back away.
But as he tried to move back towards the wooden gate, something happened out of the ordinary!
Creeaakkk! Bam!
The opened wooden gate was starting to move, and in a blink, it was completely shut down.
"Gibson! What are you doing?!" Brink roared at Gibson with bloodshot eyes and noticed a change on his face clearly. Gibson's face now looks almost like a doll with a void of expression. There was no color on his face; it almost looks like his blood was drained out.
What happened to him? His heart raced at the thought.
"Dear! Why is he acting like that?" Lavada's also looked at Gibson with a worried expression and tried to get near to him, but Brink's hand grabbed her shoulder.
"D-Dear?!" She was startled. Soon other pirates also s.h.i.+fted their direction towards Gibson.
"Don't go near him. He-"
Buzz! Buzz!
Before he could finish his words, the earth started to vibrate, followed by multiple undead skeletons, arose from the ground. A total of 100 undead skeletons appeared in front of everyone's sight. They stood in an encircled formation while gripping their rusty weapons in their hands.
"Ambus.h.!.+" Lavada cried out in alarm.
"Attack!" Without wasting any time, Nelson unsheathed his Cutla.s.s and dashed forward while his crew members followed him.
Clang! Clang! Swoos.h.!.+
Cutla.s.ses collided with undead elite soldiers' weapons, and soon, all other pirates joined them. Meanwhile, Brink and Lavada quickly moved near to Gibson, and soon, Lavada also noticed there was no expression on his face. Like an undead with flesh, Gibson unsheathed his sword and attacked them.
"W-Why are you attacking us? S-Snap out of it, Gibson!" Lavada's screamed in anger. It was too sudden that caused her thoughts to clouded. He was like a brother to her, so watching him moving like a possessed person caused her body to shake in uneasiness.
"Lavada! Calm down." Brink parried against the slash from Gibson's Cutla.s.s and backed away while grabbing Lavada's hand. She, too, understood the situation and quickly unsheathed her daggers while observing the surroundings.
"Honey! Now I'm okay; I will handle Gibson. You go and help Nelson and others." Lavada said while biting her lips.
"Okay. Don't get yourself killed." She nodded her head at Brink's comfort words and scanned the surroundings.
"Don't you think these skeletons look different from before?" Lavada knitted her eyebrows as she saw those skeletons movements and asked.

The undead skeletons that guarded the fort wall are just normal ones, but these are more like elite soldiers. Her eyes squinted sharper. Brink also noticed this and asked Nelson with some confusion.
"Nelson? Do you know anything about these undead skeletons?"
"How should I know?! You are the one who discussed those details with that bandit leader." Nelson shouted from Brink's backside while decapitating two undead skeletons in a blink. But that doesn't make anyone happy at all.
Clang!
"Dear, I think those normal pirates won't be able to hold against those skeletons," Lavada said with a grim expression while greeted the attack from Gibson's Cutla.s.s.
With her black dagger, she managed to block the thrust and evaded the other two attacks using a movement type skill.
Swoos.h.!.+
Even with that, Gibson's Cutla.s.s pierced the surrounding air and gave a shallow cut on her right shoulder.
"Careful!" Brink shouted in concern voice.
"I'm okay. Concentrate on quickly reducing these skeletons." Lavada replied and soon s.h.i.+fted her attention to Gibson.
Both of us are even in strength. Lavada observed Gibson's movement and nodded with a sigh. But she was still somewhat hesitant to attack Gibson.
If it is another guy, I won't even show any hesitation like this.
"Ughhh!" "Arrrggg My Hands!" "Noooo!!" "Help me!!" Multiple screams echoed inside that yard as pirates started to let out panic cries.
"Fools, Don't panic. Attack them in the head." She could also hear Nelson's roared sound from behind.
Once Lavada heard those cries, she gritted her teeth and chose to face him head-on without any hesitation in her heart.
I have to hold him and help others. Lavada muttered inwardly. The next instant, she spurred towards Gibson like a panther. Her body was completely enveloped in darkness elemental energy, which made her movement speed faster.
