'Kid, I can't pick up any sign of life from her body. She is not an evil spirit. What is she?' Azolla's voice echoed inside his head, and at the same time, Abium felt a numb sensation on his right hand's index finger. He quickly lowered his gaze and saw his index finger starting to become transparent.
'What the f*ck?!' His whole body stiffened up as he saw that.
'Kid, answer her question quickly and get the h.e.l.l out of here.' Azolla also felt something was off and quickly warned him. Abium nodded and replied hurriedly.
"Abium," Abium said without hiding his true ident.i.ty and soon noticed his transparent finger came back to normal and s.h.i.+vered. Meanwhile, that naked lady gave a slight nod and stood near to him like a statue while looking at his eyes with the same creepy smile.
Without any delay, Abium quickly walked out of the cave while not minding that naked lady who was stalking behind him and promptly dashed towards that forest's outer area. It was early morning, and the chirping, humming sounds pleasantly started to fell into his ears from the surrounding woods.
While hearing those melodic sounds, Abium he didn't feel any relaxed feeling. Instead, he felt something was definitely wrong with this forest and thought about those rumors from those roaming mages.
'Memory loss. Yes, all of them experienced memory loss when walking out and didn't know what had happened inside. Hmm, I think I will also experience the same thing. But what is really hidden in this forest? Also, who is this naked lady who is stalking me?' Multiple thoughts crossed through his mind as he was warily glancing back at that creepy smiling lady.
'Maybe, she has some power to manipulate others' memories.' Abium thought to himself as he s.h.i.+fted his gaze towards the dense trees and shrubs, which blocking his path.
But he didn't stop there and continued his walking while avoiding the more dense areas. After a few minutes, Abium suddenly arrived at the entrance of a small cave-like place and got stunned. Because it was the same cave, he used to construct his spell model in his mind!
'Did I got lost?' Abium knitted his brows and fell into deep thoughts. Meanwhile, that naked lady silently followed after him while maintaining a two-meter distance.
'Azolla, what is happening here?' Abium quickly asked Azolla with a frown on his face because he felt it was too abnormal.
'I-I don't know, kid. It's like some type of loop in the s.p.a.ce.' Azolla said with a serious tone and went silent.
After hearing her reply, Abium sighed and quickly s.h.i.+fted his gaze towards that lady who stood two meters away from him on the empty land. A look of hesitation appeared on Abium's face, and soon he bit his lips then asked.
"Where is this place? W-" Abruptly, Abium felt no words came out of his mouth and felt some invisible forced stopped his voice.
'What the h.e.l.l?!' Abium was deeply frightened by this unusual situation and stared at that transparent lady with wide eyes.

"He~he~ You are in the castle of Bidora~" She winked at Abium and replied with a strange smile on her face.
'Castle of Bidora? Eh? What the-' Abium's thought abruptly froze as he saw his surroundings started to broke like a mirror, and the next instant, Abium found himself in a small gloomy room, and strange candles were lit on the four corners of that room.
"~What do you like?~" A melodic voice came from his back as Abium abruptly turned back and saw the same lady leaning her back against that wall. But this time, Abium saw instead of the fog-like naked figure, he saw she had a real body and wore a black colored home gown. She had black hair, a pale face, and white eyes, which seems to holds a deep secret inside.
'Azolla! What is happening here?' Abium anxiously asked with a frown while taking two steps backward. But soon, Abium felt something was odd. He didn't hear Azolla's reply at all!
'Azolla? Are you there?' Abium started to feel restless and started to check her basic functions, but even that wasn't there. Suddenly, Abium lowered his gaze and looked at his own body, and instantly his eyes went wide open. He now saw his whole body appeared transparent and starting to disappear slowly.
'Wait a minute! She asked me a question. I have to answer.' Instantly Abium recalled that and responded quickly.
"I like exploring." Abium quickly responded and soon felt his original form began to reappear. But no reply came from Azolla, which made something was wrong!
This time he didn't ask any questions and directly moved towards the metallic door on his right side. But soon, Abium frowned as he noticed there was no key to open it. Quickly Abium thought of taking out his sword from his spatial ring, and soon he noticed the spatial ring was also nowhere to be seen.
'When did I lose my spatial ring?' Abium frowned as he soon cast a fire orb spell and threw it towards that metallic door.
Bang!
The following second, Abium creased his brows as he saw the fire orb did no damage to that door at all.
'Should I cast Fireball spell?' Abium nodded his head and instantly cast his first-tier spell. Immense fire-elemental energy started to gather around his palm in a split second and soon formed into a one-meter radius ball of fire.
'I think it will be overkill.' Abium thought and soon threw that large ball of fire towards that door.
BANG!
Once that one-meter radius ball of fire touched that metallic door, a large explosion echoed, and the shockwave instantly threw him backward near to the lady. Abium's body slowly crashed on to the black wall, and slowly he falls on to the ground while groaning.
Slowly, he lifted his face then s.h.i.+fted his gaze towards the metallic door but soon astounded as he saw there was no scratch on it.
'Wow! Even a first-tier spell did no damage to this door.' Abium felt puzzled, and slowly he walked near to that door.
'What are those? Words?' Abium knitted his eyebrows.
Soon, he noticed that the metallic door was inscribed with runic words and started to read with a curious look on his face.
"There are 5 Mansions in five different colors.
In each mansion lives a person from a different family.
These five members drink a certain type of potion, cast a certain unique spell, and keep a certain contracted pet.
No members have the same contracted pet, cast a certain unique spell, or drink the same potion.
The question is: Who owns the Serpent?"
'Heh, it appears to be some kind of puzzle.' Abium nodded in enlightenment and soon s.h.i.+fted his gaze below to read.
"Hints
The Lockridge lives in the red Mansion
The Gilster keeps Silver wolf as a pet
The Meader drinks Rath Potion
The green mansion is on the left of the white mansion
The green mansion's owner drinks the Kurunji potion.
The person who cast the Meteorite shower keeps Redbird.
The owner of the yellow Mansion casts domain shaker.
The man living in the center Mansion drinks Ghost's blood Potion.
The Ollim lives in the first house
The man who casts water devourer lives next to the one who keeps a cat.
The man who keeps Unicorn lives next to the man who casts domain shaker.
The owner who cast eternal darkness drinks Dark tears potion
The Howgett casts wind storm
The Ollim lives next to the Blue Mansion
The man who casts water devourer has a neighbor who drinks Ma.n.a.l potion."
As Abium read those runic words, he abruptly froze.
'What kind of puzzle is this? Do I have to solve this if I want to get out?' Abium furrowed his eyebrows and slowly heard a tik-tik sound from his back.
As he turned his back, he saw the black-haired lady who keeps observing all this time, took out a timer, and placed it on her hand. Moreover, the numbers starting to reduce from 100 to 99 then to 98 and so on.
'Do I have to finish this puzzle before the time limit?' Abium abruptly came back to his senses and returned to read that puzzle once again at fast speed.
'Lockridge again? I also heard Meader and Ollim names before. Yes! They are Wadel kingdom's and Keris Kingdom's royal household names. d.a.m.n, it seems there are more secrets hidden behind those royal families. But what about Gilster and Howgett? Are these royal family names of the other two kingdoms? Hmm, possible!' Abium muttered to himself and instantly started to search for the answer.
'Hmm, from the Lockridge's information, I'm sure that red bird belongs to Lockridge family and seems they have meteorite shower spell.'
Quickly Abium started to a.n.a.lyze the information one by one by directly separate them in rows and columns.
As the timer in that lady's hand move towards number five, Abium hurriedly spoke.
"Howgett! The answer is Howgett."
Rumble!
The next instant, the runic engravings on the metallic door started to s.h.i.+ne, and slowly the door began to disappear.
"He~he~ Your answer is correct~" A melodic voice echoed from his backside, and soon Abium saw that lady started walking near to him.
'I can't ask any questions to her. If I do, I will definitely become affected by the strange invisible force.' Abium muttered to himself and restrained his urge to ask any other questions.
"He~he~ I will answer. This time you already answered the question, so it's your turn. I can answer any questions in your mind.~" She said with an alluring tone.
'Did she just read my mind?' Abium got startled and soon fell into deep thought. 'Any question? Although I want to ask many things about the myth behind the Bidora empire and also about how I came here, I will leave that for later. I want to see if she can answer this question.' Abium's lips curved upward and asked with a cold tone.
"What is my mother's name?"
'She may know more about this lost empire's history but not about me. Even if she possibly reads my mind, she wouldn't find the answer for this.' Abium sneered inwardly.
"Thea." But a cold yet alluring reply came from her mouth made Abium's mind to become black for a few seconds. He didn't even saw what was on the other side of the room, nor did he moved his muscle. He was frozen in shock by the answer and felt both thrilled and confused.
'H-How did she knew? Also, my mother's name is Thea? Where is she? Is she still alive? If so, why did she left me in the church's orphanage?' Abium felt countless questions echoed inside his mind but quickly calmed himself down and didn't ask any other question.
Soon, he walked out of the room and noticed he arrived at some sort of empty meeting hall. A large circular wooden table inscribed with multiple rune letters was placed at the center of that hall. Also, there were six throne-like large chairs designed with unique symbols placed on all sides. Abium also noticed there were a total of six portraits painted at the front of the wall, and each of them wore different colored dresses.
But there was a single portrait at the center appeared larger than the other five, and it presented a picture of a middle-aged man. He wore multiple gems embedded crown and had dark blue hair, pointy ears, and azure eyes. He was an elf! But there was a single palm-sized emerald gem coin embedded in his hand that made Abium's expression turned serious.
'I-It's the same emerald coin mentioned by multiple persons who visited this Creeper's forest! Hmm, this middle-aged elven man must be emperor Jade.' Abium thought to himself and quickly s.h.i.+fted his gaze towards other portraits. All of them were middle-aged peoples, and ages were around 50 years old and wore different colored robes like red, blue, yellow, white, and green.
'These guys must be those five family elders.' Abium quickly memorized everyone's face and suddenly noticed that Black haired lady had already disappeared.
'Where did she went?' Abium felt more puzzled and started searching for a way out. But soon, his expression turned into a frown as he saw a name at the corner of all of those portraits.
'Mage Novak!' Abium drew a deep breath and quickly moved near to those pictures. First, Abium walked forward and soon arrived close towards the portrait of a man who wore a red-colored robe. He had straight long golden hair, round amber eyes, and thin eyebrows. At the end of that portrait, there was a name engraved along with Novak's name.
"Elder of Lockridge, G.o.defray."
As Abium was about to move towards the next picture, Abium felt a sudden electric shock from the depth of his soul, and the next instant, his surroundings started to broke like mirrors.
Soon, Abium found himself lying at the entrance of that same cave and instantly jumped up.
'Kid, allow me to copy your memories soon.' At the same time, Azolla's hurried voice echoed inside his mind, which made him startle a bit.
'Why?' Abium raised his eyebrows and asked while glancing around his surroundings.
'No time, kid. Quick!' As he noticed Azolla's urgency, he quickly nodded his head and let Azolla scan his memories.
Within a few seconds, Azolla replied with a serious tone.
'I copied those memories, kid. Now, get out of this place. That lady is not a normal being. Even a third-tier mage will become a puppet in front of her strange ability.'
Abium nodded his head and quickly dashed out of that cave. At the same time, he noticed the same creepy feeling of being stared by a poisonous snake came from the surrounding atmosphere.
Soon, he reached the end of that Creeper's forest, and suddenly he stopped his walking. Abium stood there with a vacant expression on his face, and soon he simply shook his head and turned around.
'Kid, where are you going?' Azolla's voice echoed inside his mind.
'Hmm? Of course, I'm planning to construct my second first-tier spell.' Abium said with a confused expression on his face. At the same time, he felt puzzled as to why he was standing outside the Creeper's forest.
'Ha! My guess was right.' Azolla sighed inside his mind and said. Meanwhile, Abium became more confused by her sudden words and asked out loud with a frown on his face.
"What do you mean?"
'Check those spell models inside your mind.' She chuckled. Abium frowned even deeper, and soon his expression turned to stiffen up. He saw a large black crystalline spell model floating inside his mind and felt puzzled.
'H-How?!' Abium asked with a startled expression on his face.
'Wait for a minute.' Azolla said, and soon she transferred all those memories back to his mind. Next instant, Abium got those memories of what had happened inside the forest and felt s.h.i.+vered.
'How did I lose these memories without even knowing?' Abium asked with a surprised expression on his face and thought to himself.
'As expected, those stories from roaming mages are real.' He nodded thoughtfully.
'It's because of that black-haired ghost lady, kid. After you answered her question, you suddenly fell on the ground and started sleeping. At the same time, that lady also disappeared from there, leaving me more clueless. But after some time, I felt an emotional change in your soul and confirmed you must have pulled into a dream world.' Azolla replied with a serious voice.
'That was a dream world?' Abium knitted his eyebrows. Because he felt everything was so real.
'Yes. But I don't know how did she found out your mother's name, kid.' Azolla replied.
'Ha! I think I have to revisit her once I got strong enough to defend myself and ask her myself.' Abium muttered to himself and quickly dashed towards the Dewsummit city.
