Wallace abruptly woke up, startling the small birds eating his leftover food on the ground before he lost his conscious.

He was trying to remember all those dreams he had. A world where technology was so advanced that humans could conquer even the galaxy. It was such an absurd dream but felt so real.

As he tries to dig more in his memories, another surge of pain struck his brain. It was so painful that he couldn't muster any strength to scream. He lost his consciousness again immediately after.

Wallace is a 2nd year student of Leonhearts Academy of Magic and studying to become a Magic Engineer. He's an average student but dreamed to be a successful Magic Engineer someday.

A while ago, he rode a bus and left the academy to visit his family living in a small town near Beirun Forest. As he alighted and walked for about 10 minutes he saw the familiar signage.

"Welcome to Red Star Town"

It was the same old signage. Due to the policy in academy, he could only come home for about 2 or 3 times a year.

For some unknown reason the Wallace of the outers.p.a.ce and Wallace of this Earth has merged. There's no conflict on his mind but felt overwhelmed by this discovery at first.

Fifteen years of someone else life merged in this body. A different world where no magic exist but purely advanced form of technology allowed a human civilization to reach the apex.

Conquering humanities short lifespan allowing people to live a thousand years, enhancing genes to have super human bodies, technology so advanced that Wallace from this Earth left him so shocked.

His confusion only lasted for a few seconds and something jolted his mind before he closed his eyes again and after opening it, the two different lights in his eyes has somehow merged.

"Father, just where did you sent me?"

This world where 'Wallace' has descended seems like an alternate world. The Wallace here looks exactly as him. He felt some kind of conspiracy going on here.

Wallace shook his head and got up.

He is 'Wallace', it does not matter whether from s.p.a.ce or from this Earth.

He started walking back home as it started to get dark. He was trying to sort his mind as well. The memories of two life are all very clear.

"I need to look for my body to confirm everything."

All his doubts about his ident.i.ty can be cleared once he saw and confirmed that there is 'Wallace' who descended here on Earth.

Wallace made up his mind. He needs to check out where his s.p.a.ces.h.i.+p landed. He remembered the scenery where he alighted and when he was still above with the s.p.a.ces.h.i.+p. He plans to use all possible resources he could get just to get whereever it is. The first thing he could think of was actually to check the library in the Academy.

He could already think of a possible location but left it on his mind for now until he could gather more information or evidence. As it was likely to be located in a different nation.

It would be difficult if the location is on another nation due to his ident.i.ty as a student. Even if he skip school he might not even be allowed to have an entry to another nation yet.

He have five days of vacation before going back to the Academy, he still have plenty of time to plan his next action.

As he was nearing his home, he saw familiar faces and was greeted by them which he politely returned their greeting.

He was now standing in front of a house. This is his home. He smiled thinking about this as his other home is a huge s.p.a.ces.h.i.+p.

He opened the door and found his father's back sitting in the living room watching news on the television. He noticed his mother as well preparing dinner for the family.

He smiled and announced his presence.

"I'm home."
