In a cool spring breeze, the cla.s.s of section 13 was chilling and waiting for the next period. Robin, one of the less known students of the school, lays his head on his table as he waits for the school to end.

Robin, the first one to wake up, was puzzled by the whole situation. Kyle woke up and then John, "What the h.e.l.l happened?" John exclaimed with his hands stroking his aching head.

A couple of minutes and all the students woke up. They were standing and most of them are scared, "Now now, don't be scared." The old man spoke again in a soothing voice, "You are here because you are summoned to save the world."

"Save the world?" Kyle was obviously puzzled, "I don't know what prank you are trying to pull but this is not funny!" Kyle rebelled and suddenly all the students started to get angry, thinking that it was a prank.

"Yeah, stop this shenanigans!"

"You are bad at this!" The students exclaimed and the old man, who calls himself the high priest or the pope got angry, "If you do not believe me... then."

The pope opened his palms when a ball of fire appeared before his eyes. The students who were rebelling suddenly got quiet, "In this world, magic exists. Monsters and dangerous ent.i.ties live amongst the humans and they are about to destroy all of us." The pope spoke as the blazing fire got smaller and smaller.

The pope ordered one of the guards to do something and spoke again, "The most dangerous enemies are the demons and their leader, the demon lord. You are summoned here because you are chosen heroes!"

The guard who was ordered opened the door as the blinding light shows a world with trees and floating islands, "Welcome to the world of Zerus, heroes!" The pope shouted and the students slowly walked out of the bulding, showing a whole new world.

"This..." Robin, who was silent all this time, was amazed by the world he once dreamed a fantasy. Robin was a NEET and obviously a big fan of fantasy games, "So then..."

"So then do we have powers?" Kyle intruded and gathered everyone's attention as he asked the pope. The pope smiled and walked slowly, closer to the students, "You are quick to catch on"

"Say the word [Open] and it will show you your gifted prowess." the pope happily instructed the students.

The students said the word one by one as they saw a screen-like object, floating in front of them, "This screen will only show to the owners, so people besides you can not." The pope mentioned.

Kyle opened the [Status Screen] or so they called it and saw skills and a blessing.

It was Robin's turn and he has turned pale. He was hesitating because of what he saw, "Go on, son." The pope said to Robin.

Robin looked at the pope as he steadily walked into the appraisal orb and touch it. No matter how he imagines it, it was a blessing of bad luck.

Kyle became silent but he hated Robin because how carefree he was. Inside Kyle, he was extremely happy.

"Please don't do this!" The crying Robin shouted as he was pulled out of the castle by the guards. Steadily, he was thrown in a raging river, just close to the castle, "Please don't!"

"Goodbye, black cat!" One of the guards smiled mercislessly and looked at the helpless Robin pleaded for help.

While on the castle, the students were now scared, "I don't want to do this." one of the girls began to cry as she saw one of her cla.s.smates dragged out like it was just a thing.

"It's okay Selina, it will be okay." Kyle comforted her, Silena, the beautiful girl who ruled the school. She was a caring person and was extremely beautiful.

Selina nodded as she hugged Kyle and cried. Kyle was smiling behind her back because back at school, even though Kyle was popular, Selina never minded him.

"Perhaps that Robin was of use." Kyle muttered as he hugs Selina back.
