Tristan wanted to investigate Blackbeard, so he tried to collect as much information about the pirate king.

Blackbeard is a human who was very talented in the Pirate Arts, however, several years ago he went into hiding. Even the rumored death of Calico Jack did not stir his interest. His interactions with other pirates had ceased.

Blackbeard used a legendary s.h.i.+p of the Pirate World, [Queen Anne's Revenge] which he was said to control using his soul alone. He travelled the seas and oceans alone, leaving his crew to manage his lands while he stayed reclusive on this mysterious s.h.i.+p. Among the four Pirate Kings during the time of Calico Jack, Blackbeard was considered the last in strength, however after not revealing himself for such a period, it was not known what his current strength truly was.

Tristan decided to contact Blackbeard for a "friendly" chat. With Blind Night and the Kraken, as well as a choice of his fleet, he decided to go pay this reclusive pirate a visit.

Blackbeard was enraged. "A weakling like you... prepare to face my wrath."

Tristan shook his head. "I never intended to harm you. It was you who tried to intimidate me, you were the one who threatened me in your very first parlay and you who were the one to attack me. Killing you would only throw the Pirate World into chaos and cause a big war with the Hegemons."

Blackbeard calmed down. "Why are you sparing me, but not the Dutchman."

Tristan smiled. "Hand me your s.p.a.ce Ring."

Blackbeard was outraged, but without any choice, he complied. Tristan then left the scene.

Days later, a new news spread across the Pirate World. The three Pirate Kings had formed an alliance and would control the Pirate World together. Rules were established. With Blackbeard being a human, White Beard a Battle Body Species and the new pirate DeadSpin reportedly a ghost species, the three hegemons also calmed down, though many feelers were sent to Deadspin asking how he tamed the Kraken.

Tristan spread a lie that he saved the Kraken's life when it was injured and thus the Kraken began following him. This subsided the crazed desires of the three powers and stability returned to the Pirate World.
