"What happened?" An elder asked the 10 who were thrown out in the end.

"We don't know. The controller of the exam said that everyone failed and kicked us out, then we saw it imploding." One of them spoke out.

Then one guy looked at White Star. "Where were you? You came out after me, but you didn't appear during the second or any subsequent tests!"

White Star just looked at the man trying to rile everyone up against him as farcical and shook his head. "Let us suppose I did something. What are you trying to point out as a consequence? Hide your own incompetence by highlighting my exceptionality? Such a trash like you can also be considered a genius?"

"You...." The young man stuttered, but his elder slapped his head. "Shut up!"

White Star yawned. "I didn't have to be tested in the first place. The test was to find out individuals with the potential for 'something', I have already achieved that 'something', so it would be ridiculous to see if I had the potential to achieve it in the future when I already have it now."

An elder of the government spoke. "White Star, if you have any data or intelligence from the ruin, we are willing to buy it from you."

White Star nodded. "Please tell Forever Shadow and Liu Daobai that I am looking to discuss a crucial matter with the government's side. Other organizations, I will discuss it with Heavy Matter first and the Vast Expanse can decide later."

"White Star, why did you destroy the ruin?" Tina asked, when she heard her grandfather requested.

Tristan smiled. "Call me later."

Tina got angry. "You rogue!"

...

A couple of days later, Tristan was sitting at home lazing. He was finally free for a few days without any commitments and thought of resting at home, but his sister came home too, but that wasn't all, because Emily also barged in.

Tristan wanted to sleep on the sofa, but now he had to be squeezed into a corner. Joanna found out from Mom, that Emily was Tristan's...ahem... friend and immediately became inquisitive.

"I'm going out to the cafe to chill for sometime." Tristan said.

"We're also coming." The two girls cheered and Tristan rubbed his forehead.

"I'll call my friend as well. Since the both of you are going to Eastern soon, you can get acquainted with her as well." Joanna said which left Tristan speechless.

In the cafe, he looked out of the window as he sipped coffee, dazed in thought about the past few months and what the future holds for him, while the other too were blabbering about shopping or something.

Tristan then remembered. He looked at Emily. "Emily, do not practice the Demonic Scriptures ever."

Joanna looked surprised. "What are Demonic Scriptures?"

Emily was surprised as well. "Why not?"

"There is something wrong with the technique. Tell me something, is the technique support with some kind of statue or totem art or something similar?" Tristan asked.

"Well not exactly, but there is a supplemental technique where stone gargoyles are trained." Emily said, confused. Joanna was interested and kept listening.

Tristan turned serious. "These techniques... who was the first one to create them?"

"Demon G.o.d. These techniques were invented by the Demon G.o.d." Emily said.

Tristan sighed. "Demon G.o.d is not a Demon." He shook his head, his suspicions were confirmed.

Emily was shocked. "How did you know that? There can't be more than four people alive who know that."

"Just stay away from that Demon G.o.d." Tristan said.

Joanna finally interrupted. "What crazy things are you up to Tristan? Don't do too dangerous things."

Tristan shook his head. "I'm already in too deep. Now the only choice I have is getting stronger to be able to protect, but becoming stronger also means getting into a deeper mess. There is no reward without risk."

Joanna became contemplative as well. "Then I will also try to become stronger."

Tristan looked at his status.

He had now unlocked mental energy after his mind got unlocked.

Just then Joanna's friend arrived. When Tristan saw her, he was stunned. But then he realized he wasn't White Star right now. The friend was none other than Tina.

"This is my friend Tina.... Tina, these two are joining Eastern University next month. This is my brother Tristan and this is Emily, our friend." Joanna introduced.

Tina smiled at the two. She looked at Joanna. "You said your brother is aware of the hidden world?" Joanna nodded.

Tristan looked at Tina. "h.e.l.lo. Indeed, both Emily and I are aware about the Hidden World."

"The both of you have joined any organization? You should know that the government is obviously the best place to become stronger and protect yourself." Tina said.

"We are members of the Vast Expanse." Emily said, with a smile.

"Vast Expanse? You must you heard of White Star then?" Tina asked.

"White Star? I've never heard of such a person." Tristan said blankly.

Emily and Joanna looked a little weird. They had used Tristan's account when they wanted to check higher level information to learn. His ID was White Star.

"White Star is one of the rising geniuses from Vast Expanse, he is a very rich tyc.o.o.n, yet he scammed me of some trinkets. How come you don't know who he is?" Tina asked while shaking her head. This Tristan was pretty disappointing, he didn't even know this famous person in his own organization?

"Well I am just level 1 in Vast Expanse, so it is normal not to know." Tristan said.

"Oh..." Tina nodded.

"Who is White Star, Tina?" Joanna asked.

"White Star...well I only saw him three times. First time was I was selling some trinkets from home. I didn't know that they were some treasures that were important to grandfather, White Star bought them for very cheap. He kept giving me hints that I was being cheated, but I didn't realize then.

He is a super rich tyc.o.o.n, he even had his own section of products during the auction. All the big shots were going crazy for his products which were very rare and offering him private trades. Later he even gave my grandfather five drops of life essence liquid for those things I sold him.

Five drops is a crazy amount. Life essence liquid... forget it, it is like an extremely rare treasure.

Finally, yesterday we had all gone to a mysterious ruin. White Star was also there, everyone got kicked out, but he did something in the ruin and caused it to self destruct. I believe he destroyed the ruin because he found out some information which would be very dangerous if it spread.

He is somewhat of a rogue, but he is a very heroic figure." Tina vomited out her essay, and Tristan just looked out of the window.
