Accident Prone 74 Getting To Know Each Other Mia And Hunter 4

In Mia's bedroom…

Hunter is (pantless) on the bed in a half-seated position, his back is leaning against the headboard.

He watched Mia as she climbed on the bed next to him. Her hands started moving skillfully over his leg in the area of his left knee and he could tell that she did this many times before.

As soon as Mia started touching his leg, he hugged a pillow.

"Is it hurting?", she a.s.sumed that he is holding onto the pillow for comfort.

Hunter's eyes s.h.i.+fted. "Yes."

There is no way that he will say that his body is reacting. It's late in the evening, they are in a dimly lit room, the two of them on the bed, he is in his underwear, her touch… and for some reason, he remembered that mind-blowing kiss from the gym. How can he not react?

Mia lifted his leg slightly and frowned at the sight of a deep-purple bruise. She pressed few points around it, and Hunter responded with low hissing sounds.

Without a word, Mia dashed out of the room, and few seconds later returned with an ice pack.

She spoke while carefully placing the ice pack over his bruise: "This should do it. Stay put for some time, and let the coolness seep in."

Hunter hummed in agreement.

Now that the exam and first aid is done, Mia realized that she is in her room with Hunter, just the two of them, and it's late in the evening, and he is hot. She swallowed hard and reminded herself that long-distance relations.h.i.+ps don't work. And hookups are not her thing.

Sure, Mia goes out and has fun and meets a lot of guys, but they never go beyond kissing. In her twenty-eight years of life, she went all the way only with one man, and that was her then-boyfriend of four years whom she caught cheating. It's not that she is saving herself or anything like that, but in last five years (since she broke up with her then-boyfriend of four years), she was never interested in going beyond kisses with any guy she met. But… she can't ignore that this attraction she feels toward Hunter is… dangerous.

Mia told herself to play it cool. If she does not look into his face (eyes in particular), maybe she can ignore the pulling force which is difficult to resist.

"So… you work?", Mia asked awkwardly while looking at the painting on the wall. It's some meadow with red poppies.

"Yup.", he responded.

No matter how stiff is Mia, Hunter is in a much worse state. Under that pillow he has a hard-on and the woman who caused it is right in front of him!

Hunter bit his lower lip while trying to use that sharp pain to compose himself. Why is he acting like a teenager? He is a fully grown twenty-six old man. And it's not like he never touched a woman before! Well, he does not have a colorful portfolio of ex-lovers like his brother, but he slept with few women. First out of curiosity, then he slept with few more, while thinking that he might feel something deeper than a superficial attraction, but it didn't work out. And his last intercourse was four, or maybe five years ago (he is not keeping track of it). It's not that he is saving himself or anything like that, but he never met a woman who excites him enough for him to wish to sleep with her. He embraced his aloof personality which allows him to keep pesky women at bay. But… he can't ignore that this attraction he feels toward Mia is… dangerous.

"What are you doing?" Mia hoped that Hunter will talk more about his work because she does not know what to say. The only thing on her mind is his kiss, and how she wants it to happen again.

"Looking at you.", Hunter admitted.

Mia turned to face him and burst into giggles.

"I meant at work. What are you doing at work?", she clarified.

Hunter cleared his throat awkwardly when he realized his blooper. "I know what I will be doing on Monday."

"What?"

"Thinking about you."

Mia's eyes widened in surprise and she held her breath for a second before her lips stretched into a smile. She scolded herself, why is she smiling? But she could not stop herself because whatever is happening, it's stronger than she is. And she made a mistake by looking into his eyes.

Hunter decided: he will not fight this. Because he can't win. He never wanted anything as bad as he wants Mia. The only thing he can do is to embrace this feeling which overwhelms him: 'Get closer to Mia. Tell her how I feel. Show her how I feel… Because if I don't, I will regret it for the rest of my life.'

Mia wondered, did she s.p.a.ce out? She probably lost at least few seconds, because there is no other explanation why Hunter is so close to her. Oh, G.o.d! His arms are around her and she is not sure if he is pulling her toward her, or is she moving on her own, but she is confident that the distance between them is reducing at a steady rate. And why are her arms around him?

"We should not do this…", she whispered in his lips while struggling to preserve the last ounce of reasoning in her mind.

"The only way to stop me is to knock me out. And you have less than a second to do it.", he whispered back.

Mia is pretty sure that she is the one who closed that last fraction of s.p.a.ce in-between their lips and they were locked in a kiss which set them both ablaze within seconds.

'This. Is. Unbelievable!', Mia screamed internally. His every touch sent s.h.i.+vers though her body and her soul trembled when faced with the power of pure l.u.s.t that Hunter woke up within her. His scent, his flavor, his strength, the way his lips glided down her neck… breathtaking. And she was (still) completely dressed! Well, not for long.

Hunter worked fast and in few seconds her clothes flew on the floor and she was down to her underwear.

Hunter was pleased that he undid those tricky buckles of her bra without stumbling. He didn't lose his touch. But he is confident that he is losing his mind because Mia's taste is intoxicating. Oh, G.o.d! How exhilarating is to feel her skin under his palms!

He was delighted by the fact that she is impatiently undoing b.u.t.tons of his s.h.i.+rt.

Hunter admired her exposed full b.r.e.a.s.t.s for a moment before his tongue circled around them and moved toward the center.

Mia gasped when his tongue moved around her nipple, sending sparks through her body.

Mia looked at Hunter and her brows furrowed when she realized that he is not moving. Is he going to stop? No way, right?

"Are you on a pill?", Hunter asked reluctantly.

Mia blinked few times while processing his question. "No."

She saw that he closed his eyes and grimaced.

"You don't have a condom?", Mia asked in disbelief.

"No.", he responded.

Mia exhaled in frustration. After years, YEARS of waiting, she found a guy who makes her forget herself and he is doing all the right things except for one: he does not have a condom!

"I will go and buy some.", Hunter said while getting off from her.
