Two-thirds of the 3 amigos and the 3 stooges stood behind Claudia checking on her text.

"What are you guys up to behind me?"

Babrbara was the first to walk forward, "we were just admiring your behind. "

"Where you here all along?"

"Yeah, but we wanted to give you time to mentally prepare."

They all laughed. That was why she had felt odd the whole time.

Knowing what they were after, she put down her phone and told them the gist they desired. Everyone was happy for her. Her painful pursuit had finally paid off. She left them in the living room and headed up to her room for a beauty rest.

"Sleep beautifully. See you tomorrow. "

That was the message she received when she was taking off her facial mask. Reading it made flowers bloom in her heart and b.u.t.terflies flutter in her belly.

"So this is what it feels like to be in love," she murmured to herself.

The couple slept happily, dreaming about their meeting tomorrow.

Morning came and Justin arrived on time to pick Claudia up for breakfast. She was wearing a pink, knee-length, flare gown with spaghetti straps and a jeans jacket. Justin had on black jeans with a white ts.h.i.+rt and a flannel s.h.i.+rt over it.

They opted for breakfast at a French cafe, having toasted bagels, cream cheese with black coffee. Over their meal, they planned out their day. They chose to sightsee all through the morning.

When afternoon arrived, they snacked on pretzel bites and strawberry slus.h.i.+es as they made their way to the movies. They chose a comedic film. That was when Claudia realized that her boyfriend had zero humorous cells.

The whole room was laughing like there was no tomorrow, but Justin stayed still. He made a comment that there was nothing funny about the movie, and everybody else was just weird.

"I have somewhere to take you to," he said as they walked out.

"Where night this be?"

"You'll know when you get there." He had a crafty smile on his face.

He had bragged to his Corp members in the morning about how beautiful his girlfriend was, and they told him to bring her by. He had no idea how Claudia was going to react, but he really wanted to show her off. His smile robbed off on her, and her mood lightened up even more.

"Where's he taking me to?" She asked herself.

As they approached the base, Claudia became self-conscious. She had a bad feeling about it. She saw some uniformed men at the entrance and couldn't help herself anymore.

"You wouldn't be taking me to your base, would you?"
