“Does a breakthrough in AI’s learning and thinking mean that BUA is at the forefront of supercomputing technology?” Lu Jia’er asked.
Jin Xiangdong nodded again as he replied very modestly, “For the time being we are a leader!”
Upon hearing those words, Lu Jia’er blinked her eyes, which were like the stars outside the window, and she gazed at Jin Xiangdong seated across from her, while Jin Xiangdong also looked into her eyes with a tender expression.
“Ace, do you know that every time I go to the BUA offices and see how they all work, I grow an even greater admiration for what we all do there.” Lu Jia’er fully expressed her appreciation of the R&D team.
“Us?” asked Jin Xiangdong.
From his expression, he was confused and seemed also jealous. Lu Jia’er was satisfied with his response, she couldn’t help but smile, “Your whole team!”
“A good team is created by an excellent leader!” Jin Xiangdong nodded silently.
Lu Jia’er couldn’t help laughing but she agreed with him, so she nodded and said, “Sure, you could make that sort of conclusion if you wanted to.”
Jin Xiangdong was very satisfied with Lu Jia’er’s words, and his lips lifted as he smiled and said, “That is to say, the person you admire most is me!”
Lu Jia’er had never seen a person more narcissistic than Jin Xiangdong! Lu Jia’er had a big smile on her face, “I’ve certainly never seen a person more narcissistic than you!”
“So do you overstate it when you said that you have a great admiration for my team?” Jin Xiangdong gazed at her as he asked.
“No.” Lu Jia’er smiled and shook her head.
“Since your admiration is not overstated, I readily accept it!” said Jin Xiangdong.
“Should I say thank you to you!” Lu Jia’er smiled cheerfully with her eyes like crescents.
“I agree!” Jin Xiangdong gave a straightforward answer.
Upon hearing his words, Lu Jia’er glared at him, but she could not refute Jin Xiangdong’s argument, because there must be countless of his admirers around the world. But even though she was one of them, she was lucky enough to be having dinner alone with him at his home at this exact moment. He had accepted her pursuit and so she received the opportunity to get to know him privately along with the opportunity to tell him about her admiration and affection.
Of course, there were two reasons why a woman like Lu Jia’er would end up so fond of a man. One was admiration, while the other was that she was deeply loved like a spoiled child.
“Thank you!” Lu Jia’er was very cooperative, but her tone and eyes showed sincerity.
Jin Xiangdong gazed at her before he said, “Jia’er, I must thank you too. No matter what your future thoughts end up being, I just want to say that I am very happy to be in this moment!”
Lu Jia’er looked him in the eye and said, “The future is unknown. Everyone has not been fixed yet. I may fall in love with someone else and have a life without you, but I am sure that your appearance has buried a seed in my heart. At this moment, it is sprouting and growing, and you are its sun!”
“I must have planted a sunflower in your heart!” Jin Xiangdong said as his eyes fell on her with a tender expression.
As Lu Jia’er had heard his remarks, she was speechless, but she couldn’t bat away the sweet reply either, so she said, “Don’t forget to give it more suns.h.i.+ne in the future!”
“I will try to make it develop seeds as soon as possible!” Jin Xiangdong nodded and said.
