Boris couldn't move his body so all he could do was a curse but the moment he said fatty, Lardo jerked a bit and slightly trembled a bit.

Lardo didn't explain any further but even an idiot like Boris could understand what's going on. Boris soon connected the dots and figured out everything.

His face turned red in shame or anger; Shameful that he could figure something spoken in front of him and anger being a luggage and dead weight for his friends.

Even then he didn't blame his Big Bro, to some extent his admiration towards Quinn increased for prediction the battle with this precision.

He was expecting something interesting not this hot potato type of thing; if he was ignorant or uninformed about such an ent.i.ty he could just ignore or go around it but he just had to poke his nose and pull himself into such a mess.

Quinn nodded seeing Lardo's swift action while he focuses more on fighting the beast; actually, after immobilizing it Quinn could just escape with his friends to the lake but if the crab somehow called for reinforcement it would turn into an absolute tragedy or if it cautions other crabs then their next few days might turn fruitless.

So he must stay behind to finish it off once and for all to weed out any future troubles. But killing it was easier said than done; the Crab had a really thick skin and breaking its other legs aren't a viable strategy.

The negligence and distractions were only reason Quinn managed to cripple its legs; now that it's entirely focusing on Quinn he couldn't even get near its joints much less break them.

Quinn couldn't come up with any plan except killing it through exhaustion and his Body Refining Art really came in handy as it gave him marvelous endurance.

Whilst Quinn was planning his next course of action while fighting with the crab Lardo cover half the course and Kallis crossed three-fourth the distance.

All of them were worried about the friends' safety and were itching to lend a helping hand but their inability or lack of strength fettered them.

This instant the situation abruptly changed; the Crab's telepathic connection has a boundary and Kallis just crossed over that boundary a while ago. The crab felt utter despair and helplessness took over it, the crab stopped its relentless attack.

The Crab sent a deep gloomy screech and then with a sudden burst of energy its sh.e.l.l was lit with innumerable tiny sparks. Immediately Quinn retreated and got into defense stance; he knew for a fact that cornered animals are much more dangerous let alone a beast like this Giant Crab.

The bright sparks on the dark black sh.e.l.l were like the starry sky on earth, Quinn was completely mesmerized by its beauty. He unconsciously let his guard down while deeply immersing into the magnificent scenery.

'So that's why they are called Dark Star Crabs'

Quinn unconsciously mutters and felt drunk seeing the wonderful scenery. But Elgar broke the beautiful silence with a wretched yell.

At the same time, all the star-like bright light shot the sky but hitting the tall ceilings of the cave. The Giant Crab died from exhaustion but Quinn didn't bother with it.

Quinn abruptly turned around and started his absolute dash, trying to cope with a horde of Crabs is nothing but pipe dreams.

"Elgar, quickly inform my friends tell them to speed up."

Even while running for his life Quinn didn't forget his friends; Elgar didn't dilly- dally and swiftly notified everyone. Since they only had one map everyone took the same path so Quinn created different obstacles by destroying the rocks and few makes.h.i.+ft traps to slow down the horde.

Though these blockades could slow them down, Quinn's speed also proportionately reduced. Luckily they chose the nearest nest hole, all they could do is pray that the lake keeps the crabs at bay.

Lardo caught up Kallis in a few minutes, after all, Kallis is the slowest runner so it was nothing surprising; so even when Lardo was carried Boris he managed to outrun Kallis.

Quinn was actually trying to cover their retreat. When Quinn was halfway through Kallis and Lardo reached the lake.

After Quinn received the news he picked his speed without turning his back Quinn dashed like a madman to the lake. Fortunately, he made reached the lake at the nick of the time escaping the horde of crabs.

Quinn to breaths to recover while enquiring if everything was fine; all of them stood by the lake nervously waiting for Horde.

All their heartbeat raced as the sound became louder and louder; Quinn didn't expect the horde to blow away all his obstacles and trap with just a *BOOM*. As the horde advance, it came closer and closer, it was like a large army of crabs seamlessly marching towards them with perfect coordination.

Quinn couldn't contain his anxiety so he asked Elgar if he knew anything.

The Blind old man was watching the entire battle and he knew everything about Dark Star Crab Caves; normally smart kids will drop the quest ending their adventure while the stubborn fools would try their best before crying for help.

Only true genius will dare to challenge the crab again and really succeed the Quest by surviving 4 days while hunting now and then.

But none of the students so had any sort of information about the horde, so they were brave enough give it a try; whilst Quinn had Elgar to give him info about the Crabs.
