The Inheritor 14 Longevity Soup

Blake gratified hearing their conversation as his words really made the difference. Though he was a bit harsh, it was needed wakeup call to rouse them from their delusion. He was proud with his achievement and looking forward spending time with his grandson.

"Hey big guy will you not miss us, if you don't see us throughout the year?"

Andre wanted to check if Quinn knew what boarding school meant. It's true that everyone will go to school after 5 years but it was generally normal school not a boarding school.

"What?! I can't be with mama and papa. But why, mama I don't want to leave here." After that Quinn started to cry. He didn't want to leave any loop-hole with his performance.

When the three saw Quinn crying they were dumbfounded. Because Quinn always acted a bit mature they all thought he will know what a boarding school meant. Then Blake and Helena slow turned their head and glared at Andre.

They were telling 'It's you who started so go clean up your mess.'

Andre felt depressed as he has never handled such a situation; it was always Helena who looked after Quinn.

"Quinn, look here. See dad's face. hehehe" Andre was trying to make funny faces to Quinn he stretched his mouth shrunk his eyes and made a weird sound.

When Quinn saw Andre face he stopped crying for a second and then he cried even more heavily. Now Quinn really felt like crying 'Is this how you console a child prodigy.' Had Andre not been his father Quinn would have given him a straight punch.

Helena and Blake looked at Andre as if they were looking at an fool. Then Helena gave Andre a tight slap on his shoulder and scolded.

"Idiot, don't scare the kid." After that she pushed Andre back and came near Quinn.

"Quinn if you go to Natal Dawn School you can get many friends. Don't worry about missing us we will visit you once in a while. Okay." Helena tried to console him by patting his head.

Immediately Quinn stopped crying and slowly nodded as if he was still hesitant. Quinn made such a scene just make his parents realize that he was still a small kid. He stopped the moment his mother stepped in because if he dragged it any longer then his plan might back-fire; his parents may really stop him from going out. If that happens then he might have to really cry.

After convincing Quinn all of them sat around the dining table and Helena ordered Emma.

"Okay, guys let's celebrate this happy occasion with a grand dinner. Emma please serve the dinner." After that she removed he ap.r.o.n and sat next to Andre. Emma's their android house keeper.

After receiving the order Emma quickly and neatly served the food. Andre, Helena and Quinn were given a plate full of nicely cooked delicious meat and many other dishes; everything was prepared too beautifully that even Quinn drooled over it.

But Blake was only given an empty bowl. Before Blake could ask for in portion Emma came with a vessel filled with black and violet liquid mixture. It looked so hideous that even a starved beggar would run away.

Then Emma poured that liquid into Blake's bowl and took large pieces of raw meat and put them into the bowl. The meat looked very ordinary but the moment it touched the soup a violent reaction happened.

Yellowish bubbles came from the meat and then the whole meat disintegrated into small pieces and finally disappeared. After the meat disappeared a very disgusting odor filled the room.

It was so bad that even Quinn's tremendous willpower couldn't withstand the vomiting sensation. Quinn was just about cover his nose.

His father magically sent out green light from his hand which covered Quinn, Andre and Helena. After the green light was like a holy light vanquis.h.i.+ng the evil spirit. The terrible smell immediately vanished at the sight of the green light.

Blake also tried to do the same trick but seeing Helena's dagger stare; he swallowed empty air before dispersed the light in his hands.

"Papa, you're getting old so I specifically made this soul for you. It is called Longevity soup. You must drink bowl full longevity soup for it to work. If you fail to finish the entire bowl; then it will be ineffective and you will have to drink another bowl for the next meal."

Helena's voice was very sweet and cute like a lovely daughter but she wore a cold smile. Seeing Helena's cold smile Quinn s.h.i.+ver all over and swore he would never offend his mother no matter what.

Blake pleaded many times to everyone even to Emma who was just an android. After realizing that he can't escape from this longevity soup Blake gave up his meaningless struggle.

He pinched his nose with his right-hand and then he took the spoon with his left-hand and started to drink the soup. Quinn felt like he watching Blake's attempt for the most disgusting record ever in Guinness record.

After fully completing the bowl, he stood up with great difficulty and tried to walk but he tripped over and fell down. He was like a poor old drunkard poisoned by the very same liquor.

He kept mumbling "please save me from longevity soup monster, please help. HELP...I will give you anything ples.. he.." then he pa.s.sed out on the corridor.

When Quinn saw this old man's condition he felt sorry for him and swore he will never anger his mother after seeing the soup. He didn't know what happened in the lawn so he a.s.sumed that Blake was suffering was because he ignored him earlier.

Also Quinn admired Blake's courage and willpower. It was a heroic task just withstanding that soup's no the terrible fluid's odor and appearance. But this old man somehow drank a whole bowl.

After the old man fainted, Emma lifted him and carried him to the room; while his parents were enjoying the whole show. Later they all ate a stupendous dinner forgetting the poor old man and his soup.

Then his mother again reconfirmed if he was really okay with the arrangement of going to a boarding school. After getting Quinn's consent she advised him to behave well.

Then there was routine set of boring advises, like he should eat well, sleep well regularly chat with them etcetera. Only then did Andre get a chance to speak but by them it was 11:30 so he just told me to be careful.

After long advices Quinn finally escaped from them and returned to his room. In the room he was jumping up and down in the joy as it was sure that he will get access to different knowledge about cultivation and he could finally form the Soul Clone.

He was grinning when he thought of all the advantages he could get after forming Soul Clone. Though he did not know the exact benefit he was sure that it will be a jackpot.

Next day morning he parents were packing many things he may need. The old man was no were to be seen. Only after 2 hours did his mother finish packing and did Blake came out of his room.
