No Matter How Long Time Passes, I Still Love You Chapter 48: You Lips Were Chapped

The blanket covering Chen Mu and Susu had fallen to the floor, but none of them noticed as they focused on their small kisses. He let her explore at her own pace as he returned the pecks. When her lips parted from him, he would bring her back with a following kiss. After one kiss, there was always another one and another one that followed.

Her face was flushed, and she could feel her cheeks burning. She struggled out of his embrace and said, "Your lips were chapped. I was just.. sharing my lip balm with you! Good nightttt" Like a bunny, she hopped to her room before he could do anything to her, which he wasn't planning to anyways.

Seeing her adorable response made him comb his hair backwards and laugh to himself with a blissful smile across his face, "So.. it was lip balm huh? We'll see about that when I officially start pursuing you. Heh."

He turned off the television and went back to his bedroom for the night. Both of them kept picturing how content they felt when they were kissing each other in their own rooms.

After going back to their rooms, Susu twist and turned in bed; unable to fall asleep. After half an hour later, she gasped and gulped, "I need to use the bathroom! But.. what if the ghost comes to haunt me.." Though she was a hardcore fan of horror movies, she always would need company to the bathroom if someone watched the movie with her.

She really couldn't hold it in anymore and decided to knock on his bedroom door. When she knocked, the door creaked open by itself and she could see him with his eyes closed on the bed. For some reason, she walked towards him and traced his facial features using her finger.

She blushed and responded, "Y..You're.. awake! N..nothing! I just needed to use the bathroom... but I was.. um.." Susu had a loss for words as the picture of them kissing blocked off her motive of wanting to use the toilet in her mind.

Seeing her nervousness, he rubbed her head gently, "I'll stay right outside the bathroom door. No ghosts would dare get to you with me there." She nodded and finally did her bathroom deed. Actually, he wasn't even sleeping when she knocked. He wanted to see what she would do if he was asleep in front of her so he pretended to be asleep.

When she stepped out of the bathroom, he leaned forward. Subconsciously, her eyes closed, antic.i.p.ating a kiss to her lips. Another smile crossed his face as he planted a kiss on her forehead and whispered, "Nighty night. Sweet dreams."

Once again, her cheeks flushed from his teasing. He knew she closed her eyes thinking it was another kiss. She let out a small laugh and thought it was quite cute as she touched the spot where he kissed her on the forehead and then brought the fingers to her lips. "Nighty night." She whispered and went back to her room.
