The man followed through with his mission, setting the building ablaze. "The mission was a success, the Suns.h.i.+ne orphanage is burning nicely..." he spoke into the watch. "Excellent, return back." The watch clicked off. As he turned, to leave, he saw the two boys from earlier. The boys eyes wide with fear, watching their home burning. "Rick..." The younger brother whimpered. Rick quickly turned his attention back to the other boy. "N-Nori it's ok...!" He said, pressing his head to his chest. The boys then noticed the man. Rick's eyes widened. "Did you..." He whispered. The man looked at the boys. There was silence for a moment, before the man spoke up. "I told you it wasn't safe around here..." he said, as he walked past them. Norio began sobbing. The man quickly stopped. He looked at the boys momentarily, then let out a sigh. "T-there's an abandoned cottage nearby...follow me." Rick looked at Norio. "How do we know you're not lying..." The man then began to laugh. "I promise." Rick's eyes widened.
"Are we there yet...?" Rick whined. "Just a little further." Norio held onto Rick's hand, as he was curiously looking around the forest. "Ah, there it is." The man pointed. "By the way, mister..." Rick began. Larkin turned his head. "What's your name...?" He asked. The man looked at him, then closed his eyes. "You can call me Larkin." The man said, smiling.
