As Janine walked back to where Larkin was, she stopped for a moment. "Was that foolish of me..." she whispered to herself. Just as she was about to take a step forward, she b.u.mped into Larkin. She looked up at him, startled. "B-boss..." Larkin looked at her, then gave a sigh. "I suppose this means you weren't successful either." Janine nodded her head. "The synchronization is near completion anyway." He said. As he began to walk away, he turned his head. "Don't worry yourself to hard." He said, giving a smile. Janine's eyes widened. "B-boss...!" However, Larkin had walked away.

Everyone had gathered around in the room where Rick, Iris Azalea, Mikael, and Chris were waiting. "Well..." Mikael said, slowly lifting his head. "This is it." Abbey folded her arms. "What do ya mean...?" Keren asked. "Behind this door lies Larkin." Iris Azalea said. The room went quiet. "Now what..." Norio whispered. Kari looked around the room and then at Tammy. "We have an hour and a half..." Rick looked up. "'Til what...?" Kari looked at him then quickly back down. Tammy let out a sigh. "Her job was to plant a few bombs to make this building blow up..." Rick's eyes widened. "Were ya gonna tell us sooner, or were we just supposed 'ta blow up!?" He cried out. "I gotta get Maru, and get the h.e.l.l outta here!" He said, quickly rising up. "Rick!" Mikael shouted. Rick quickly spun around. "You're nowhere near ready to take him on!" Rick's eyes widened. "Ya mean..." Mikael looked down. "By now, the power transfer should have been a success..." Rick huffed. "I don't give a c.r.a.p!" He began. "Maru is still in there, like h.e.l.l I'll let that b.a.s.t.a.r.d take another thing from me!" He screamed, as he ran to the door. "Open this s.h.i.+t up!" He growled, as he began pounding on it with his fists. Mikael looked at him then sighed. "I suppose we really don't have time to waste..." Keren looked at Norio. "I'll do anything to see that bright smile of hers again, Nori..." she whispered. Norio looked at her, then stood up. "I'm going with you..." Mikael let out a nervous chuckle. "Well whether we want to go or not, we don't have a choice..." Kari looked up. "The door is a trap, if someone stays behind without the key, they'll get left behind in the explosion." Rick let out a huff. "Mikael open this freakin' thing already!" Mikael looked at him, then gave a sad smile. "On the count of three, we all run in there," he paused. "No promises all of us, if any of us will make it out alive..." Everyone glanced around the room. Sena reached for Abbey's hand. Abbey gently stroked her hand, and smiled at her sadly. "One." Everyone got up, Norio helped Chris up. "Two." Everyone readied themselves. "Three...!" The door slowly began to open, revealing on the other side Larkin, Mim, and Janine. Larkin stood on the balcony next to the tubes, grinning. "Now!" Rick led the charge, as everyone hurried out of the room. The solid door, closed, and locked tightly. "To the final boss..." Mikael whispered.
