It has been a month since Qi Chen's family separated from Qi clan. The gossips and speculations about its reason have died down because most people are excited about wedding procession of Qi clan's second miss that will happen tomorrow.

Early morning even though the sun haven't risen yet all Qi Fu's servants are busy preparing for the wedding procession while in Long Fu all family members are gathered in the main hall to welcome the Old Patriach who have returned from Xiangli kingdom. He as the Left Prime Minister was sent by Emperor Zhao as an envoy two months ago thus he is not aware of the changes in the marriage alliance of Qi and Long clan.

In Long Fu's main hall family head chair, an old man in past eighty years old is sitting while silently drinking his tea. His expression is calm and unreadable, he have long notice the weird glances between his eldest son and his wife. He noticed his eldest grandson that he dotes on is unusually silent.

"Housekeeper Ji!" He glanced at his most trusted servant and the man of same age as him came near him and reported the things that must known by the Old Patriach.

"Ji stay here." Upon hearing his master words Housekeeper Ji glances to all servants in the main hall who immediately leave the main hall having the last two servants close the doors. All family members jolt in surprise at the sound of closing doors.

"Does this one is already dead in your eyes for you to make changes without me knowing?!" Left Prime Minister Long voice echoed in the main hall.

"No Father...with all the rumors going on with Qi Chen's daughter she isn't fit to be my son's main wife. That is why..." First Master Long started to explain while looking straight to his father, trying to see any ripple in his eyes.

"Is that why your son hired people to kill her?" Patriach Long interrupted him. Guanting upon hearing the question of his grandfather suddenly got nervous and started thinking of the possibility that Qi Chen have sent the letters to his grandfather's trusted servant.

"Father my son wouldn't do that, it is only a false accusation of Qi Chen since we annuled the engagement with his daughter."

Don't expect me to clean up the mess that you father and son made, I won't help you at all nor will I acknowledge that girl as my granddaughter in law." Patriach Long sighed inwardly and remembered the girl who gave him water and snacks in the city gates.
