"Here I pictured a panicked situation, but Rais, you seem unusually carefree, quite unbothered by the strangeness of the place."
"Strange seems fitting, though the tower feels deeply familiar to me, seeming I have accompanied this place for a long, long time."
Powerless to glance back towards the voice, Rais evaluated various methods of imagining the situation; however, his struggles remained fruitless. Thus, once again, staring into the distance, Rais halted his futile attempts.
The source of the voice remained silent until Rais stopped striving to break free.
"Struggling won't release the constraint. You should have opened your eyes a lot sooner, before your spiritual power had deteriorated, considering several days pa.s.sed since you began falling from the ceiling of the tower."
"I merely sought to examine how towering the tower rose."
"Trust me, even if months had pa.s.sed, you wouldn't have approached the bottom."
Dumbfounded Rais lied, for he became overwhelmed by the scale of the tower; since he lost recollection of the time that had flown; since to him, only a brief moment had pa.s.sed from a sudden blink.
"Since struggling serves me not, then few eyes at the top of my head would be incredibly useful; though, I'd rather not have them since The Unnamed can generously move in front of me."
"Hha, I am pretty much restricted like you are; but Rais, you know me quite well, considering you had plunged into my memories, plenty of times."
"Ha! Your memories?" For a moment, Rais lost his denominator.
"The visions you experienced in your nightmares are pieces of my memory; I am sorry, you had to undergo such horrifying experiences as a baby."
In a panicked state, numerous questions surfaced in his mind; also, the thoughts that bothered him for the longest time. Collecting his thoughts, Rais chose to ask questions instead of panicking.
For now, Rais decided this person did reveal the truth, while he proceeded to continue with the flow.
"Worry not, the times I woke up crying were my meal times."
"Were they?"
"Maybe not always; at least your memories never engulfed me on fire, and besides, you also have different treasured experiences; experiences tied closely to your heart and soul."
"Are they? I can barely recall minor parts of my memory; hence, I thank you, awaiting that day, I will take all my memories back."
"Ha? Your statement makes zero sense; why do you not remember, and how am I capable of peering into your memories?"
"I am not quite sure myself, but did you spot that gray ring between the two ma.s.sive vortexes? According to him, a piece of my memory mysteriously ripped apart from my supreme soul."
"What do you imply by him? The Unnamed, overwhelm me not, slowly unravel the mysteries regarding this strange place! Crafted from one's imagination!"
"Say, not a bad way to put it. Rais, why not share your a.s.sumptions first?"
"For me, a place of adventure and discovery, but for you, an enormous fancy prison."
"That sounds quite right, though now try examining the surrounding floor."
"Alrighty," cornering his eyes Rais attempted to glimpse across the floor, but the awkward angle made it difficult to discern the runes engraved on the reflective surface.

"Forget everything I stated about struggles not breaking the constraint. Since you already touched the ceiling of the tower, you should easily be able to perceive the surroundings; you are missing a single component, and remember everything is under your control since..."
"Say no more," hearing he missed one component, Rais immediately imagined observing the jade-green spiritual force condensed within the towers' atmosphere, breaking the restraint into pieces while staring down onto the floor.
"... since this place is within your soul place," the voice resumed, finis.h.i.+ng his thought.
"How would I have a soul place before I even begin cultivating spiritual energy?"
Without glancing forward, Rais became bewildered, staring down at the jade-green, translucent floor. His body still lay down on the floor, but he stayed unconscious with his eyes fastened; surrounded by a large seal on the floor, and he noticed these same intricate spiritual markings on his back.
"Don't close your eyes or will be back down on the floor again."
"A smaller list, but these are the names I discovered at the top."
"There is no rune similar to this at the tower ceiling."
"Not the ceill…"
Finally, glancing at a young boy a few steps away from him, Rais's became speechless.
He received Rais with a slight arch to the head, while a green aura escaped the translucent body; a golden crystalline chain attached to the area over his heart, limiting his reach around the tower, but none of this fazed Rais.
Walking closer to the boy, Rais scanned over his intentionally kept unruly, raven black hair. Seeing the bewildered Rais, the boy's oppressive gaze changed into a pleasant smile, pus.h.i.+ng up his fuller cheeks; while at the center of his left cheek rested a tiny mole.
Gazing down, upon discovering another mole on the right side of his neck, Rais nearly slumped, eyeing the squarish face with piercing amber eyes and the medium-sized nose. While the soft uniform glow gleamed on his olive skin, Rais felt like he was standing before his reflection; since this boy looked exactly like him, except he still had his front teeth.
"How? What sorcery am I witnessing? Why do you look like me?"
