Spiritual Seed Awakening 7 Chapter 7: Adventure Begins

I wake up today, and begin to plan. I have my second body leave my main body underground. It's strong enough to fight off [corpse worms]. I fear something else may show up, but from the memories of the worms show me there is a low chance of other "life" underground. I tunnel around trying to find more magic crystals. My soul worm memory diving works well with my soul sense to to locate any stone with manna. My improved body is suited now to obtaining, and storing manna. It's only after gaining so much new manna that I learn of its ability to increase the [corpse worn] const.i.tution. There was a low level cultivation method buried in their somewhere in their soul. I searched the souls of the countless corpse worms, and I gave my second body all the bodies of other corpse worms. It seems to have absorbed enough portions to learn the technique. When absorbing manna before, I only used it to reinforce the body. After the body reached its limit, a process of metamorphosis began. My body begins to farm a core of it's own, but there is no adorable baby inside of it. The process had strengthened the corpse worm body a great deal. I no longer need to use my soul to pull energy from the crystal, now only need to to bite through the magic crystals, and use my soul to channel the energy into my body. It's much faster. No manna is able you escape my body now. I hope this new world is like the ones I used to read about. I need to find more techniques, spell books, or even Magic scroll will do. I am feel like I have good control over my soul, but with manna, all I can is absorb it. The high level of manna in my body started the process of forming a core. I only used my soul to compress it. I did it on instinct. The black core formed formed, and the Corpse Worm started to change. The white corpse like features of the worm began change. There were many changes. The first being the exterior is more like armor, then skin now.It is like a leather exterior. The inside was similarly changed. There was now a new poison gland, second stomach, as well as a flow of green blood like substance. The inured organs are now healthy looking. My corpse worm body has become a [corpse wine worm]. The name just appeared in my mind. It seems about right. The new worm seems to be able to store corpse poison in its body, mix it with a poison within its body to create [corpse wine]. The fluid is jet black, and contains a trace amount of manna are in it as well as the same death aura the corpse worm gives off. If allowed to rest in a safe place with lots of manna.This corpse wine could be high quality my instinct tells me. I guess higher manna levels will increase the quality. I don't care too much about that at the moment. The upgrade is nice, but still not enough to help me find information. A life in the dirt is not good enough for me. I want keep expanding my surroundings. My new body allows me to kill normal corpse worms with ease. I find a way to use every part of the worm now. The soul is absorbed, the body is eaten and used to stored in the [corpse wine], and manna in the body is absorbed into mine. The area around me seems to have been cleared out now for part. I head back to my main body to transfer manna and soul. My main body stores a lot of manna. It seems to have restored a small portion of its reserves, as well as strengthened its body. The seed losses about half of the reserves to restore its body. I am happy to do this to increase its chances of germination. I can earn get more manna later. return some soul back into my main body. The motion seems more fluid now as I go through the process. I have restored enough of the seed to host most of my soul now. The main issue is the still empty reserves in my body. I should be able to fix that soon as I continue exploring. I have created a mental map of my surroundings. A 360 map appears in my mind. The worm had cleared a good portion of the underground near me. I have eaten a good amount of soul fragments. The memories seem to be mostly the mundane worm life, but I was lucky to find memories that show corpse feeding. The corpse worms have a good level of sensitivity towards vibratiation and is able to follow the aura of death. They use these traits to find their next meal. They devour the flesh of corpses, only leaving bones. It seems corpses are rare, and are able sustain a corpse worm for awhile. They also have to have have the ability to hibernate when there's food scarcity. I Have eaten a good amount of corpse worms since awakening. The area I have covered should have left the surface free of the bottom feeders corpse worms. I am still unsure of predators, but my new body is stronger than any corpse worms, and worse case my [corpse wine] poison should harm anything living. I rest and allow my bodies to lose consciousness.
