"Where am I?" He screams into what seems like nothing.
"Welcome. My name is Tigris, I'm currently in control of your body." The voice was raspy and very masculine. It sounded as it had been screaming for hours as it spoke.
"WHY?" Gabriel screamed as he felt panic flow into his mind.
"In your current state you are unsuited to control the body which should have been yours since birth." The voice replied calmly.
"My body since birth?"
The voice stayed silent for a moment before it explained any further:
"You're the third born of the shapes.h.i.+fter family Warran. In short, you should have had the ability to transform to a tiger since birth."
Gabriel's mind couldn't concentrate as Tigris finished the sentence.
"Why am I unsuited? My whole life has been a misery, why are the system and this coming to me now?"
"Your body has been weak since birth and the ability to transform requires a strong body. However, the reason for the ability to awaken is because you sensed a deadly aura. This is a protective mechanism to secure your survival. As for the system, it's the only one of its kind."
It took a while before Gabriel had cleared his mind before once again asking:
"What does it mean that the system are unique? Isn't this how some beasts are getting stronger?"
Tigris responded right away:
"No, the beasts who gets stronger is still in the growing stage or are constantly training to become stronger. Of course the outcome of the training are restricted. An E cla.s.s beast may get strong enough to move up to rank D. But it's very rare and it's not as big of a differences between the lower ranks as it is between the higher ranks. On the other hand, the system is especially designed for your needs. It is constructed and programmed to make you stronger in a short amount of time and the system will continue functioning for you alone."
It took awhile before Gabriel reacted to the answer.
"Who constructed the system?" Gabriel's voice had calmed down.
"No one. The system constructed itself within your mind. I myself isn't a person, just a parcel piece of your older self"
Gabriel looked confused as Tigris tried to explain it in a simple manner.
"Can you explain where I am?" He gulped.
"You are currently inside your own mind. Right now I have paused the flow of time, I will let you watch and hear what's going to take place. However, you will not be able to move or speak on your own" Tigris voice was serious. The aura around Gabriel was tense.
"Ok, but let me check out something first"
"Status report" Gabriel said into the darkness surrounding him. He didn't know if it would work, but he felt he needed to see the power difference between this form and the other.

Gabriel couldn't understand. The numbers were enormous, it was a whole world away from the skills he currently had. He couldn't view the pa.s.sive or active abilities, but out from the numbers he saw on the column he understood they must be powerful.
He stuttered as he informed Tigris that he was ready for the time to flow again.
A sudden light blinded Gabriel as he tried to observe the changes in his surroundings. The darkness faded away as the dining room slowly appeared.

Charles once again stood in front of Gabriel, but he seemed much smaller now when Gabriel looked through the eyes of a 2 meter tall and 4 meter long tiger. The lion in front of him stood shocked as if the moon had fallen from the sky and onto his claws. Gabriel listened as Tigris used his voice to say some chilling words:
"Stay still little lion..."
As the last word pa.s.sed the black tigers mouth, the lights blew out. Gabriel could register what was happening because of the tigers night vision. It's thunderous body leaped fast towards the lion and before Charles could react the tiger slammed his claws into the side of his body. The blood flowed out from the side of His body and into the carpet on the floor. fortunately the tiger consciously missed all of the vital organs and main arteries.
As the lion fell to the grounds the light came back. Gabriel's shocked parents and older sister stood gaping and screaming. His mother's eyes was filled with tears as she was sniffing. The gigantic tiger stood beside the scared lion and said:
"You should be careful of whom you're challenging. I took it easy on you for now but next time you won't be so lucky." The tigers mouth where showing a grin displaying its long fangs.
The light steps of the tiger wandered out the room and down the hall. The maids in the hallway were terrified as the beast pa.s.sed them. The tiger didn't let out a sound as it reached the most deserted hallway in the mansion which leaded to the bas.e.m.e.nt. It gazed back at the maids who rushed into the dining room.
"This seems fun, it won't be long before you are the one playing with the useless family of yours" Tigris told Gabriel through his mind.
