Cai was not satisfied with the result so she pa.s.sed the phone to her Grandpa, "make the call Grandpa, it seems phones don't like me." she said pulling a long face.
it's okay dear, you don't have to pull such a face, let me show you,...here. Han Rein said redialing the number again and the call went through once more but this time the phone was picked up on the spot.
....
The driver was still telling An kai to answer the call when it suddenly stopped ringing but soon after, it rang again. An kai answered the phone only to hear a familiar voice coming through.
"surprise!"... uncle AK , talk to my Grandpa. he's here please speak him. Cai said all excited, she even forgot to hand the phone to Han Rein.
would you please hand me the phone?...of course, if you still want me to talk to him. Han Rein said to Cai, just to remind her that she still held the phone in her hands.
"OHH!... sorry, here though he speaks very slo-wly. Cai said to her Grandpa worriedly. just as Cai had said, a "h.e.l.lo sir" came in like a broken sort of words. Han Rein kept quiet to give the other party more room to speak but the phone was next heard in silence. it was then that Han Rein remembered that he hadn't said anything so he called out.
Son, how are you?
fine, An kai answered after almost 20 seconds from when the question was asked. as the two were still figuring on what to say, Cai sighed before taking the phone a way from Han Rein's hands and putting it on her own ear, " uncle AK please take care. bye..
Cai left Han Rein and An kai unable to explain what she was trying to do. she had to let them talk, wasn't that the right way to go?....but then, "G.o.d knows how her mind works" Han Rein sighed before telling her to go get ready for supper but as on the other hand, the driver had made sure An kai get his hair as of course, the little girl wished. Both to have the same hair cut, that was just normal because to them, they believed to understand themselves better than any other person but An kai didn't let the driver take him home, he instead told him that he will board a cab.
"The people home...will blame you for my own mistakes. you can go now so I will handle the rest by myself." An kai tried to explain but the driver showed his disapproval of the suggestion right away. sir, both families will atleast kill me if you go missing, I can't risk, I have a daughter you see...the driver said walking towards the door to the car. An kai had less words and yet he wasn't ready to bicker with the driver. he went to same side of the car the driver went to, bent down and took the driver's phone, leaving him the one Cai had planted in his pocket without him even noticing.

"call me later, that phone belongs to...An kai hesitated for awhile before saying... Cai. then he hauled down a taxi and it took off leaving the driver wondering the kind logic it was!
wasn't it better for him to request his phone number instead of taking his phone?.. but anyway....
...
An kai sat in the car busy thinking about what he had just said awhile ago. it has been more than six months since he meant Cai. back then, she could barely p.r.o.nounce her name so she could add, I'm Cai as in C-I. An kai was very sure that people could have laughed at her if she had said it in public but he was the only one who knew her name even after almost months of Cai coming at the studio. the studio owner always welcomed her with big smiles.
h.e.l.lo princess! go to your place and be quite, okay? and she would node obediently but she would pull her face and mummer, "what are our lips for? and whenever he heard that, he would want to laugh. what he could say was that she always looked so cute doing so.
After two weeks of attending the same art cla.s.s, Cai was still complaining about her poor drawing when she suddenly noticed An kai drawings. he preferred sketching than using paint so he was the only one who sketched, the rest were all learning painting, including Cai herself.
"what you're doing is much better than what I'm trying learn. Cai felt like crying she had wasted time but she couldn't grasp the art, but shouting at the top of her lungs; THIS PLACE Is h.e.l.l!" she slightly better.
