in the car filled with tension, Roline's phone started ringing . all eyes turned to her . it was An kai calling . was he fine? was it the abductors asking for money? many thoughts came and went by but still in the end, Roline took the phone after taking a deep breath before saying, " h.e.l.lo" but An kai's weak voice sounded through the phone .
"it's me, I am sorry about what I said to you . just forgive m . . but then, a bullet sounded through the phone, making Roline to almost loose her grip on the phone but she caught up again and spoke in a voice that sounded more of a wail, " Kai please keep talking, talk to me . I can never be angry with you for long you know that, don't you? I love you, please keep talking to me . Roline kept talking . . . not talking but wailing on the phone for An kai to keep talking but the only sound that came again was of some sort of explosion . the phone this time slide straight to the car carpet, leaving Roline shouting to the police officer in the driving seat "hurry up! the shouting soon faded away, only leaving a small cry which even forced Ming to give Roline a hug, "hurry we need to save him for me, please hurry . he needs me right now . faster please . . . . . drive faster . . .

few minutes of panic and uncertainty had pa.s.sed but Roline kept rumbling to herself, " faster" but Ming didn't leave her side . Linda didn't even give a d.a.m.n care to what Roline was saying, after the car parked outside the the old Wearhouse, Linda got out first followed by the police rescue officers but the place was burning pretty badly . most things were on fire while others had long turned into ashes . walking with Ming as her support, Roline walked to it, " he can't be in there, that man is only mine . mine! no devil or G.o.d can take him away . Roline said trying to escape from Ming's hands but the later didn't let her .
given these sad times, people normally forget everything and focus on the good side and that's exactly what Ming was doing . she felt sorry for both Roline and An kai but there things that are worse than death itself, a friend into an enemy!
Linda ignored the sorrowful Roline, and she started looking for An kai . she walked past the officers who were trying to put out the fire and went behind the building .
