Chapter 226 Saying goodbye

Wen Yunfeng lost his wits when he left Mo Group. He sat on the bench, looking at the pa.s.sers-by who were in a hurry.

“I have lost my business. I'll be a member of salariat in the future, working for survival.” He thought with self-mockery.

“I never thought that I would be a loser.” Wen Yunfeng said with self-deprecation.

He stood up and walked aimlessly. He looked at the city which was his hometown, thinking that he might never have chance to come back.

Suddenly, Wen Yunfeng saw that there were many people queuing up. He came to an amus.e.m.e.nt park by chance. The people who wanted to play Ferris wheel were in the queue.

Wen Yunfeng wanted to play it, too. Then he went to the ticket office.

“How many tickets do you want?” The conductor asked even didn't look at him!

Wen Yunfeng was a bit uncomfortable. He had never been treated like that. Everyone who met him were in an att.i.tude of respect.

He calmed himself down and replied, “Just one!”

The conductor looked at him surprisingly and thought, “He is handsome but looked tired. His suit seemed very expensive. But how can a real rich man come to such a small park?”

“Only one ticket? You are so ridiculous, wearing the Armani of high imitation. Interesting!” The conductor twitched her mouth with disdain. She gave him a ticket and told him chillily, “Queue over there!”

Wen Yunfeng didn't say anything. He took the ticket and followed her order to queue up.

He was much mature now due to what happened to Wen's company. In the past, the conductor didn't have any chance to talk to him since he would make a block booking if he wanted to go to the amus.e.m.e.nt park.

There were only several people in the amus.e.m.e.nt park since it was not a holiday. It turned to Wen Yunfeng very soon.

Wen Yunfeng overlooked his hometown as the Ferris wheel rose slowly.

He had overlooked the whole city even by helicopter. However, he was attracted by the beauty of his hometown now. Maybe it was because his mood was different this time.

When the Ferris wheel reached to the top, Wen Yunfeng said slowly, “Goodbye!”

Wen Yunfeng walked aimlessly after leaving the amus.e.m.e.nt park. He wanted to looked at this city carefully. Then he went to a housing estate by chance. He looked at the apartment with self-mockery, “How can I get here?”

He took out his mobile phone after hesitating. Then he made a call but the phone was hung up immediately.

Wen Yunfeng was sad and sent a text message, “I'm at the door of your housing estate. May I see you?”

Gu Yan got a call after taking a shower. She thought it was Mo Yichen but it was Wen Yunfeng. Thinking of the things Wen Yunfeng did to her, she hang up without hesitation.

Gu Yan felt that something was wrong since Wen Yunfeng should send her a message. She read the message but she had no idea about it.

“Wen Yunfeng wouldn't talk to me like that. He could only threat me if he wants to see me.” Gu Yan thought.

Then she decided to call Mo Yichen because he must know what happened.

Mo Yichen had explained to Gu Yan about what happened in the past. He said that Li Yunhong was still angry, so she should go to the hospital later. He would persuade Li Yunhong and promised that he would never have feelings to Chen Qian.

Although Gu Yan felt wronged, she knew that she had responsibility about Mo Xiangyan's illness. Then she could only agree with him.

“Yichen, Wen Yunfeng wanted to see me. I feel that he's not well. Do you know what happened to him?” Gu Yan asked.

“Does Wen Yunfeng want to see you?” Mo Yichen was a little surprised. He realized very soon that Wen Yunfeng might want to see her the last time. He knew that Wen Yunfeng wouldn't make trouble to Gu Yan since he still had trouble in his business.

After thinking carefully, Mo Yichen didn't want Gu Yan to had any contact to Wen Yunfeng. After all, he hurt her a lot.

“Yan, just leave him alone. I'll handle it.” Mo Yichen said softly.

Gu Yan knew that Mo Yichen wouldn't hurt her. So, she nodded even if she didn't know what happened between Mo Yichen and Wen Yunfeng.

Mo Yichen hung up after comforting her. Then he called a.s.sistant Liu, “Tell Wen Yunfeng to keep away from Gu Yan!”

Then a.s.sistant Liu stopped his work and called Wen Yunfeng. He knew that the things about Gu Yan were the most important.

“President Wen, where are you?” a.s.sistant Liu asked.

Hearing his words, Wen Yunfeng knew that Mo Yichen had known his location. He sneered, “Why doesn't Mo Yichen call me by himself? Does he think I'm not qualified to talk with him?”

Wen Yunfeng didn't reply him and hung up the phone directly. He murmured, “Although you don't want to see me, I still want to say goodbye to you. We may never see each other again.”
