Chapter 12 Meeting with crisis

The sun was blazing like a ball of fire in the summer noon. But in the room, the curtains s.h.i.+elded against the sunlight outside.

Gu Yan opened her eyes slowly and kept a close watch on the ceiling. Then she looked at the white ceiling and became conscious, “Where am I?”

She sat up slowly and soliloquized, “Oh, my head hurts. What happened?” She reached out and touched her head where was a white adhesive plaster.

She suddenly remembered what happened yesterday: the scene in Nanfeng Hotel last night came to her mind. The hateful Wen Yunfeng cheated her to go to Nanfeng Hotel. When she found there was a dirty man who tangled with her, she wanted to slip away. Fortunately, someone helped her out in time.

After the good-hearted man saved her, he fought with the dirty man. She wanted to stop him but was accidentally pushed down on the wall. “Then I am hurt on the head.” Gu Yan remembered.

Was this the Nanfeng Hotel? It seemed not. Gu Yan observed this room: it was small with an ordinary table and a small LCD TV. There was nothing else but the bed.
