Chapter 147 Twisted love between Jun Wuhen and Liu Manyun
On hearing this, Jun Yeyan pretended to be in surprise, “How dare the G.o.d d.a.m.n eunuch poison you! But I believe that Concubine Yun is lucky that G.o.d helps. Then how are you going to deal with the G.o.d d.a.m.n eunuch?”
Listening to Jun Yeyan, Jun Wuhen didn’t think carefully, all on his mind was to kill Cangsheng! As for the misery Concubine Yun encountered, he was not as raging as others saw. Woman for him was not a necessity but only a way of relieving his s.e.xual desire.
As for the baby unborn, he felt a little bit pity, but not that sad.
But what enraged him the most was that Cangsheng dared to poison him! He was almost killed by the eunuch by his side! How could this not enrage him!!
“I will execute the eunuch by dismemberment and let him die a slow death in great pain. Let the G.o.d d.a.m.n disloyal b.a.s.t.a.r.ds know that how they will end up in case they mess up with me.” Jun Wuhen said with words between lines and a cold light flashed out of his eyes.
Jun Yeyan’s eyes were full of sarcasm which he covered up just right.
Punish someone as a warning to others, this was a good strategy. But for Jun Yeyan, this was not enough to be frightened.
Just as Jun Yeyan wanted to say something, the unconscious Liu Manyun spat out a mouthful of blood.
“Um!”
Jun Wuhen turned around in a hurry when he heard Liu Manyun’s voice, who was staring at him, pale and weak.
There was blood flowing out of her mouth, drop after drop, like s string of pearls with the line cut.
“Your Majesty” Liu Manyun gave out a cry, looking at Jun Wuhen with difficulty.
Looking at Liu Manyun like this, Jun Wuhen felt a little bit sad.
“Dear, I’m here.” With these words, Jun Wuhen held her hands in his own.
Liu Manyun’s eyes were so clear and bright that it seemed she was not poisoned. But Jun Yeyan knew that was only a flash of flourish of life the moment a person was dying.
“Your Majesty…I am very happy. You haven’t been here…for a long time.” Liu Manyun smiled with difficulty and said slowly.
Jun Wuhen calmed down when he heard Liu Manyun’s words. It was sure that he figured out there was something unusual about Liu Manyun as well, and he was sure that she was dying.
“Dear, please recover soon, and I will come to you very often.” Jun Wuhen said with a deep voice.
“It will be great if it is so. I love you so much. I feel like it is a dream that I, be of humble birth, was so lucky to own your love, Your Majesty.” Liu Manyun smiled lightly, with more simplicity that she tried hard to hide, and less hypocrisy.
Looking at Liu Manyun like this, Jun Wuhen recalled who she used to be.
Back then, Jun Wuhen was attracted by Liu Manyun. The first time he met Liu Manyun, he thought he had met Mo Yusu. The first time Mo Yusu met his father, she was just like Liu Manyun, uncertain, and admiring.
Then, Jun Wuhen brought Liu Manyun into palace regardless of all kinds of obstructions. Gradually, Liu Manyun lost her simplicity in this palace full of cheating and flattering. He knew that there were many similar people, but the one he loved most was special and unique.
No matter how many women he had had s.e.xual relations.h.i.+p with, Mo Yusu was his only love, which was the only one that he didn’t love in open. The secret admiration of Mo Yusu like malignant tumor multiplied in his gloomy heart.
Even Mo Yusu committed suicide, his admiration for Mo Yusu didn’t fade away, but became stronger than before.
“You are just too tired. It is not a dream. Right now, you are in my arms, you are my love. How could it be a dream!” Jun Wuhen held Liu Manyun’s hand tightly and said slowly.
Liu Manyun smiled lightly, “After spending so many years with you, I don’t have any pity. I would like to spend my next life with you if I can. I just hope that you could wait…for…”
Without finis.h.i.+ng the sentence, Liu Manyun closed her eyes slowly, and her hand, which was holding by Jun Wuhen, fell off weakly from Jun Wuhen’s hand.
All of this happened in a sudden, out of Jun Wuhen’s expectation. He tried to listen to Liu Manyun, but Liu Manyun didn’t have the chance to finish her words.
Wait for what? Wait for Liu Manyun? Or wait for the romantic relations.h.i.+p between them that this life was not long enough to last.
n.o.body would know what Liu Manyun wanted to say. But everyone felt pity for such a lady with pa.s.sion of love.
Although she had committed many dirty deeds, she had done them for her unconditional love of Jun Wuhen.
It turned out that love could bring someone a new life, and could lead someone to death as well.
During the period, Jun Yeyan was like an unrelated pa.s.ser-by, who witnessed this coldly.
Jun Yeyan didn’t pity Liu Manyun. Love could blind someone. In order to safeguard her love, Liu Manyun had sacrificed too many people, and missed too much. Now, she suffered retribution. She needed to pay for what she had done.
This was the condition of everyone, carrying heavy sins to come into this world, when one paid off, it was time for one to leave this world.
But the group of imperial physicians could not calm down, because they all remembered Jun Wuhen’s words. If Liu Manyun died, they would also die! But n.o.body wanted to die.
“Dear brother…” Jun Yeyan wanted to give his condolences on Liu Manyun’s death, but he was interrupted by Jun Wuhen.
“You can just go back, and I am a little tired.” Jun Wuhen said.
Jun Yeyan didn’t say anything and said goodbye after paying his respects. The moment he reached the gate of the hall, he heard Jun Wuhen’s cold voice.
“Drag these unqualified doctors and behead them! I don’t keep fools! Chengxi doesn’t need fools!”
Despairing howls and voices begging for mercy could not stop, which could not change Jun Wuhen’s mind.
Jun Yeyan didn’t think Jun Wuhen was as sad as he acted. He just faked it. Jun Yeyan guessed that not before long Jun Wuhen would go to deal with Cangsheng.
Thinking of this, Jun Yeyan left the palace quickly.
“Master, I have located the dungeon in the palace. At noon, the guards will s.h.i.+ft. And it is the best opportunity to sneak into the dungeon when they change s.h.i.+ft.” The man in black said to Jun Yeyan politely on the carriage.
“Keep on watching, and I will be back in a while.” Jun Yeyan rubbed his forehead wearily.
“Got it!” The man in black answered. Just like he came, he disappeared in silence.
Jun Yeyan went back to the mansion without any delay, and went straight to Bai Aoxue’s yard.
Bai Aoxue was waiting in anxiety, and Liushuang hung around, having nothing to do, but would not leave.
“Master…why are you so upset today?” Liushuang asked in confusion, giving Bai Aoxue a glimpse.
Bai Aoxue stopped short on Liushuang’s words and she realized that she was really in an unstable emotion.
The moment she was just about to say something, she caught sight of a slim and high figure coming against the light.
“How is it going on?” Bai Aoxue asked before Jun Yeyan got nearer.
“Liu Manyun was dead. And the dungeon where Cangsheng is kept has been found. The guards of the dungeon will change s.h.i.+ft at noon, at the time of which we could sneak into the dungeon.” Jun Yeyan understood Bai Aoxue’s concern, so he hid nothing from her.
Bai Aoxue nodded and she didn’t bother to care how Jun Wuhen was right now.
“Aoxue…I must tell you something…” Jun Yeyan finally decided to tell Bai Aoxue the thing that he had hidden from Bai Aoxue after some hesitation.
Bai Aoxue looked up suddenly, and asked, “What is it?”
Jun Yeyan’s throat tightened a little when he saw the upset light shooting out of Bai Aoxue’s eyes. He didn’t know where to start. He was a little afraid that if Bai Aoxue knew what he had hidden from her, would she forgive him anyway?
But thinking that he had hidden the thing from her, he still decided to tell Bai Aoxue even if she would blame him.
“Cangsheng…Cangsheng is from Yangzhou, and his original surname is Helian, given name is Cangzhu.” Jun Yeyan’s voice was husky, and there was so much emotion suppressed.
Bai Aoxue’s froze on Jun Yeyan’s words and she almost fell down from the bed.
She looked at Jun Yeyan in surprise, and said hardly, “Helian Cangzhu? Helian Cangyue? Is it a coincidence or…?”
Jun Yeyan could not bear to look at Bai Aoxue, “Cangsheng is Helian Cangyue’s little brother, the only child that survived in the ma.s.sacre of Helian family.”
Mumian and others were shocked, and the room became quieter. Even the sound of breath could be heard.
Bai Aoxue looked down, and n.o.body could figure out her emotion from the facial complexion.
“When did you know?” After a long while, Bai Aoxue asked coldly.
Jun Yeyan felt suffocated upon her words.
“Last night. I went to confirm with him.” Jun Yeyan answered slowly without any hiding anything.
“Aoxue…I…” Jun Yeyan wanted to explain but was interrupted by Bai Aoxue.
“You persuaded him, didn’t you? Did he promise to forget hatred and move on?” Bai Aoxue clenched her fists and loosened.
Jun Yeyan nodded to admit that he did go to Cangsheng last night. And after learning the truth, he persuaded Cangsheng not to risk his life. Cangsheng was important to Bai Aoxue, so if Cangsheng was in danger, Bai Aoxue would be sad. The last thing he wanted was to see the lady he loved unhappy.
Jun Yeyan also told Cangsheng that a few days later, he would bring Cangsheng out of the palace and find somewhere comfortable to settle him down. And Cangsheng agreed with him.
Jun Yeyan still remembered that when he was leaving, Cangsheng smiled and said that he would go to see the place where his elder sister lived. And Jun Yeyan believed Cangsheng’s words. But he didn’t expect that Cangsheng was so good at hiding and even cheated on him.
Jun Yeyan didn’t expect Cangsheng was in such despair that he didn’t want to wait any longer and he wanted to kill Jun Wuhen so desperately.
This was the biggest mistake that he had ever made. Jun Yeyan clenched his fists. And he knew clearly that whatever he said could not make up the mistake.
“Maybe…this is Cangsheng’s destiny. He has his own choice and he knows exactly what he wants. Even if we stop him once, twice, we cannot prevent his desire to revenge.” Bai Aoxue took a deep breath, and said bitterly.
No one said a word. The room was so quiet that the sound of a needle falling down on the ground could be heard.
Jun Yeyan didn’t expect Bai Aoxue would say that, he asked with surprise and self-reproach, “Aoxue…you don’t blame me?”
“No. This is Cangsheng’s destiny. Even if you told me, what could I do? He has already chosen a path with dead end, and we all know about this.” Bai Aoxue said slowly, but her heart felt so much pain.
“Jun Yeyan, I want to see Cangsheng, right now!” Bai Aoxue looked up at Jun Yeyan, with a burning look in her eyes.
