Rose looks towards Liam signaling him to talk, but he didn't he just stood there foolishly. "Liam talk"

Your great grandfather didn't really care, one because the Zhou clan are blessed with only male offspring and too your great grandfather girls had no value. "But why would they want a girl" Samuel doesn't understand the logic behind it.

"That we don't know, when your sister was five she was taking from her room in the middle of the night right? Well they kidnapped her took to a secluded island. My sources say they treated like a princesses but she was very stubborn and cried a lot and yet they didn't hurt her. She could still be alive but I'm not so positive about it."

"Why not? You said they pampered her" Samuel furiously asked

Feeling the murderous air around Samuel, Liam subconsciously stepped back before answering, "I heard a week after she was taken she had a really high fever and no one could cure her, but no one could tell me whether she is alive or dead."

No one spoke for a while not wanting to disturb the thinking Samuel.

"Ok, I have a dinner to attend." Samuel says.

This was obviously not what they expected him to say but who could blame he has a lot to process

"Alright we will leave you alone, if we find anything we will let you know" Rose calmly says earning a distracted nod from him as gets up and walks towards the resting area in his room without saying goodbye.

"Ungrateful sc.u.m, risked my life for him didn't even hear a thank you from …" before Liam could finish his sentence Rose sent him a warning glare which immediately shut him up.

As Liam was planning on ask when they were leaving Rose sent a message on her phone and five seconds later their ride arrived.

"Ready Liam we are going to jump"

"Jump are you crazy, jump to where"

Rose turned around to face him, "one yes I am crazy, and two we are jumping unto the helicopter's rope ladder."

Seeing his hesitation and reluctance to jump, Rose continues "you either jump or find your own way back to the island"

'I'll find my own way back, don't worry" Liam continues to shake his head like a rattle

"Suit yourself" saying that Rose runs straight for the unbroken floor to ceiling winding, crashes into and jumps unto the rope ladder while waving at the cowardly Liam.

'Why must you destroy two expensive windows why not use the same way you came in' Liam murmurs as he makes his way to the elevator.
