Xin Siyue's first thought, upon suddenly saw Chen Sinan after a long time was: The evil spirit has continued to linger on! Why does she still see him even after she came to A City?

Xin Siyue was trying to ignore Chen Sinan's scorching look as she pulled Gu Tong to the side. With her back to Chen Sinan, she said quietly, "Hey, why did you bother me for this?"

Gu Tong didn't understand. Even though she had heard of the big shot Chen Sinan, why did Siyue appear to be avoiding him like the plague?

Gu Tong examined her and asked in confusion, "Didn't you guys go to the same school? I thought it would be best for you to show him around."

Xin Siyue shook her head, "I'm not acquainted with him. You take him."

"What about my job here?" Gu Tong said bewildered.

Xin Siyue said without thinking, "I'll help you."

"But aren't you going over there to help too?"

"There should be enough time, come back right after you show him the way and I'll rush over."

Gu Tong didn't understand why Xin Siyue would rather go through such a complicated process, adding more work to both of them instead of bringing Chen Sinan over. But she thought she had already troubled Xin Siyue by making her help greet the guests, so she didn't want to reject her feelings. Then she turned and grinned sweetly, with an apologetic tone she said: "Mr. Chen, I'm sorry, let me escort you."

Chen Sinan didn't look at her; his gaze was on Xin Siyue's graceful back. She was wearing the same outfit as the girl in front of him; a red knee-length cheongsam, a Chinese-style dress. It fit her body tightly, showing off her beautiful curves and graceful figure. The side-slit was quite high, but far from his view, her long and snowy thighs were intermittently visible.

Chen Sinan's gaze deepened; as he lifted his chin, he said, "I only want her to show me the way." Gu Tong was stupefied. What?

Xing Siyue was also stupefied when she heard that.

That f***! Nit picking!

Gu Tong really didn't know what to do. She looked at Chen Sinan, who was only staring at Xin Siyue. Then she glanced at Xin Siyue, who was being stubborn and refusing to turn around. In the end, she could only look towards a.s.sistant w.a.n.g for help.

a.s.sistant w.a.n.g was good at handling these situations, so he said to Xin Siyue politely "Sorry to bother Miss Xin to lead the way. Thank you."

Xin Siyue gritted her teeth. Anyone who wants to go can go; she's not going! Chen Sinan could stay here if he wanted to!

Xin Siyue turned and was going to tell Gu Tong off,  but after seeing a.s.sistant w.a.n.g's appearance more clearly, she pointed at him and stuttered, "You……Weren't you the person who brought me the porridge?"

Xin Siyue looked at a.s.sistant w.a.n.g. a.s.sistant w.a.n.g looked at Chen Sinian and was a little speechless…Yes, boss, we have been exposed.

Following a.s.sistant w.a.n.g's line of sight, Xin Siyue also looked at Chen Sinan. She can't help but ask, "Isn't this your mom's a.s.sistant? Why is he with you?"

"He's my a.s.sistant." Chen Sinan continued, "Why? Do you have any issues with that?"

If a.s.sistant w.a.n.g was his a.s.sistant, then why did he bring her breakfast? Also, why did he claim he was Weng Yinlin's a.s.sistant? What the h.e.l.l was he doing?

Seeing Xin Siyue getting angry, Chen Sinan finally felt more comfortable. He said kindly, "What are you dissatisfied with, say it."

Xin Siyue said bluntly, "I am very dissatisfied. Chen Sinan, what do you mean by this? He's your a.s.sistant, so why did you lie to me that he was your mom's a.s.sistant?"

"If I didn't lie, would you have eaten it?"

"I……" Xin Siyue swallowed her words. She could guess, without really thinking, that she most likely wouldn't have eaten the porridge if she knew it was him that had sent it. She just doesn't want any kind of unexplainable relations.h.i.+p with Chen Sinan. They have no relations.h.i.+p with each other, so why would he have other people deliver food to her? This makes it easier for others to misunderstand!
