Chapter 15 - ShangGuan Yan Lan

Yes, her former self, every time she saw ShangGuan Yan Lan, she would feel very excited, even more happy than seeing Yun Ling Yan. But now, unlike before, she wanted to tell everyone, she Yun Ling Xuan was no longer a fool to be exploited.

"Mother Lin, now father and mother have not been buried, do you think I should be happy to ask cousin to come in here to chat and laugh?" Yun Ling Xuan's expression was very cold, there was no lack of hot warning.

Mother Lin's expression turned cold, she knew she said something wrong. However, going to the side hall and coming to Miss's room were two very different treatments.

In side hall, the hospitality indicates that the relations.h.i.+p was not as close and if come into Miss's courtyard, it means that Miss regard her cousin as very important. Mother Lin felt that Miss knew what she meant but she purposely did it this way. Mother Lin looked at her carefully and then turned to arrange accordingly.

Yun Ling Yan at the side had not spoken a single word because she knew Mother Lin did not like her, so she was very cautious.

"Yan-er," towards this sister who was only eight years old, she had no more ill feeling for her. She knew that she just wanted to have a stable life. She as an elder sister, had harmed her in her past life, so in this lifetime, she must give her a peaceful life. 

"Elder Sister?" Yun Ling Yan responded with some doubt.

"Go clean up a little, sort out the scattered hair, after that follow sister to go meet ShangGuan's cousin." Ling Xuan's words had let Yun Ling Yan's eyes opened very wide, her eyes were full of surprise, thinking that she had heard wrongly.

Her elder sister used to treat her just like seeing an enemy, she totally did not like her, there was even an hostile att.i.tude. But now, she not only wanted to bring her go meet ShangGuan's Miss, she even treated the usually beloved ShangGuan cousin so coldly. Elder sister, what happened to you?

In fact, not only Yun Ling Yan, even Mother Lin and Cher felt that Miss was weird but no one could say where she was weird at. The only one who knew the truth and was determined to do so was only Yun Ling Xuan.

"You didn't hear it?" Seeing that she was looking at herself with shock, Ling Xuan couldn't help but ask again.

"I heard it, Yan-er will go now." Yun Ling Yan quickly turned her body around, fearing that if she was late, it would cause her sister's dissatisfaction. Her current sister had changed a lot, although it was very different from before, but she liked her current sister.

In the past, because her yi-niang (T/N : yi-niang means illegitimate wife aka concubine) died very early, the whole courtyard only left with her, her wet nurse and those maid servants who took care of her. Everyone looked at her mother's face to live their lives, towards her it was always not cold and not warm. But ever since her elder sister returned from Jiang Nan, she loved her so much. The both of them could even sleep on the same bed at night, that was her biggest dream.

Because they were mourning, the two sisters were wearing plain colored clothes and they did not wear a single accessory. But because of their natural beauty, it had let other people felt pity for them.

"Xuan-er," ShangGuan Yan Lan who had been sitting in the side hall, when saw the elegant person in front of her, her eyes immediately turned red and said chokingly, "It's all cousin not good...."

"What happened Cousin? It was all good why it suddenly become not good?" Ling Xuan faintly interrupted ShangGuan Yan Lan's words, her eyes were full of doubts, but no one will ever know that she was hiding her mocking eyes and hatred deep inside her.

At home, ShangGuan Yan Lan's parents had taught her that before she talk, she should cry first, this could let her cousin feel more touched... But now, the mood that she was cultivating had been interrupted. She was stunned and do not know what to say.
