The beast kin territory, unlike the emerald green plains of the human territory the plains here are golden in colors, almost like that of Savannah.

Either a wonder of the world or due to ancient magic the area between each race main territory have each own fix season except for the human territory which have all four.

The beast kin territory in the south are set in summer, the dwarves' territory in the north are set in autumn, and the holy kingdom of Katolin and the magedom of Alcatraz in the middle eastern are set in spring and winter respectively.

Why are they not part of the human territory you might ask, that's because they are a race called Luria.

The Lurian look mostly human except for their pale white skin and slit like irises, they have three times the life span of humans, and they excel in both magic and strength. Making them a force to be reckoned with by all sides, the only fortune or unfortunate traits of this race is that they are very peaceful and won't start a conflict without knowing the full facts.

Some might think they are weak that way but that is a huge misconception. The last kingdom 300 years ago that tried to bully them was razed to the ground in less than a month, and they couldn't even put up a fight even though that kingdom was the strongest power house of the human race at that time.

The Lurian may be peaceful but as history proven, they are a ruthless opponent when ruffled.

Anyway back to the present, we are currently riding on a carriage towards the next village and estimated to reach it in 5 days time, and we should reach our final destination before autumn starts.

If you ask why we changed our method of transportation then the answer will be we are not strong enough to travel the plains with just us as well as the distance between stops.

Unlike humans, the beast kin aren't as fertile, so we have less crowded population and does not have much need to make multiple towns.

Traveling through these familiar plains, I couldn't help but have a bit of nostalgia. It has been a long time since I last return home and I can't wait to tell mother about all that happened in my life.

It has been fun traveling with my friends although they can be a handful at times. For once Lucas keep pestering the caravan guards for a spar or Elea jumping out at people from under the tall gra.s.ses or the food problem because of Stephie appet.i.te.

It is honestly a surprise how Lucas wallet is not dry yet with all our spending throughout this whole journey, I even suspect that his inventory is only full of coin pouches.

But enough about my party, recently there was a rumor saying the old rank E dungeon near the Craftsman's city have suddenly mutated and grow deeper.

It is now estimated to be around rank C after pa.s.sing the 20th floor and gradually climb in power chart as they go down.

I wonder if Mr. Leo would take Vayne there to train or collect materials, dungeons are after all the best place to get free and rare materials to either use or sell.

The caravan was attacked by a few groups of jungarian but it was nothing we can't handle, with me and Elea at the front and Luna and Stephanie support from the back none of the half tiger half rabbit beast broke through the defense line.

Of course, we received help from the mercenaries protecting the caravan but I believe we do most of the work.

I especially dislike how these furred people look at the girls like they are fresh piece of meat, I even caught some of them saying dirty things to Stephanie while she treated them.

It is a blessing she doesn't understand what they meant or blood would have spilled.

I don't understand why these people, although coming from the same race as Luna, would act like a bunch of barbarians.

It also amuses me a bit how they are so stupid that they couldn't even count that their pockets have become lighter. With Elea distraction the rest are pretty easy to be done.

Oh, that d.a.m.n pig is flirting with Stephanie again, better end the note here and get him away.

I've memorized the faces of all the people on the caravan, their names, occupation, and other information about them, all I can get I have put within these notes.

Some merchants here had talked about some suspicious movement within the market such as the kingdom of Welsburg and the southern union are ama.s.sing weapons, food, and other consumables in bulk and pay merchants to keep quiet.

If all is as we speculated then they are indeed preparing for war but against which party we still have no confirmation.

We've reached our destination, the village are consisted of tents and huts made from animal skin and bones or acacia woods.

Although it seems a bit backwater and uncivilized, the village was a nice place to stay at.

Everyone around were nice, and they would talk to me from time to time, especially the friends I've made within the caravan.

I was surprised that some of them actually live in the village and even invited our party to stay at their place.

We stayed in the village for 2 days and finally catch another carriage to the next village.

I'm also quite puzzled when some of my friends spoke words in their native tongues, but since Lucas always resolve it I am not worried about whatever was said.

Lately Luna also seem to s.p.a.ce out a lot, she would even giggle by herself when we were sleeping. I wonder what she's dreaming about.
