"Yep, that's about it" Lucas replied casually.
"Hmm~" she hum as she narrow her eyes into a slit.
'Oh c.r.a.p, she's on to me.' Lucas thought as he tried to keep a straight face.
"We've finished our breakfast and you've heard our story, now how about we return to the academy. After all me and Lucas still need to collect our point for completing the request." Elea said as he put some money on the table before leaving.
"I agree, we need that extra points after all." Lucas agree while inwardly praising his best friend for the excuse.
As Lucas put enough to pay for his and Stephie bills his eyes roam towards the stack of plates across the table before darting it towards Stephie tiny figure.
'just where does all those food goes to?' he thought before leaving with Stephie in tow.
Two turns of sand later they arrive at the academy and see a pet.i.te tufted eared fox waiting for them by the gate.
The moment she sees them she walk closer to them with a bright warm smile but somehow that smile seem to also have a faint promise of pain.
"So where have you two been yesterday?" She ask smiling with both hands behind her back and her nose seems to twitch slightly.
In the past month Lucas have seen this gesture three times and one of that time it was directed at him. although this gesture made her look cute, it is definitely not something good.
"Just hanging around town." Shrugging, Lucas said as calmly as he can.
"Really? Is that really all?" Luna ask, her tone turn a little icy as her eyes narrow into slits.
"Well I guess we did had breakfast without you, sorry about that, anyway we'll be late to our morning cla.s.s if we don't go now."
Having said that, Lucas tried to walk pa.s.s the tiny fox before he suddenly felt a feeling of weightlessness and his world took a hundred eighty degree then a surge of pain as he crash onto the ground.
"That's for lying to me." Luna said as she clap her hands to dust it.
Lucas could only laugh dryly before losing his consciousness.
'I leave the rest to you, partner.'

Darkness... nothing but darkness, everywhere and everything.
That's what I woke up to.
I tried to move my body, but I couldn't feel it. I tried to turn my head, but there is nothing to turn to.
"h.e.l.lo? Is anyone there?" I tried calling out, but all that answer me was my echoes.
Here, in this desolate and empty s.p.a.ce, I am all alone. The realization brought a sense of loneliness into my heart before I shake it off and throw it into the back of my mind.
"Well there's not much I can do here, let's just sleep." Pretending I'm actually able to move, I imagine myself laying down in a relax position in this seemingly endless darkness.
"Hey... Hey...!" A small muddled voice call out from somewhere.
"Huh?"
"Hey, can you hear me? I'm right here!" The voice call out once again, this time a bit clearer.
I'm curious as to where or who's voice is it but I don't know if it would be safe to interact with it, in the end I only hesitate for a moment.
"Um... Is anyone out there? Can you turn on the lamp, kinda dark in here."
"…"
"…"
"Pfft.. ahahaha no I can't, I couldn't find the switch, how about you can you find one?"
Hearing the laugh from the other side a smile form on my face.
"Nah I couldn't find one either, heck I couldn't even find the bulb! Can you lend me a hand?"
"*Snirk* you do realize your jokes aren't really funny right?"
"Yeah I know, but I got to hear you laugh didn't I? Smiley face, winking face."
"Ahahaha did you seriously just say those out loud? I just woke up in an unknown place and the first person I encounter is a third rate comedian."
"Just woke up?"
"Hm? Oh, you heard me mumbling? Well yeah, I just woke up here. What about you?"
"I'm the same actually, oh yeah the names Vayne, what's yours?"
"Vayne... That sound like a cool name, my name is..."

Somewhere in the upper realm, starlight chapel.
True to it's name, the chapel is made with black stone-like material with pebble like glowing crystals embedded into it's six pillars and ceiling.
All around it, nothing could be seen but the endless s.p.a.ce and far away stars. Although if one look closely enough, there are a couple of transparent stone slabs at one side of the chapel heading towards an almost invisible portal.
Within the chapel there is nothing but a small fountain at the center. Currently a woman is gazing into it with a sad face.
"I'm sorry child, but it is yet time for you two to meet." Is all she whispered before she turn and left the place.
